"We stayed here for the weekend and honestly had such a lovely time. The location is amazing — the views are absolutely beautiful, and the lake is just a 15-minute walk (maybe even less), which made our mornings extra special. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. They answered all our questions and gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat. It really made the trip easier and more enjoyable. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. Our room wasn’t very big, but it was designed so well that it felt cozy and comfortable. The design of the whole hotel is very cool — there are paintings everywhere, and it honestly feels like you’re staying in an art gallery. Every detail seems carefully thought through. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel "

"Beautiful hotel, centrally located in Pertisau, 5mins walk from the lake, 7-8mins from the centre and the boat landing stage, 5mins from the Karwendel cable car. Bonus, for Chalet School book fans, it overlooks the Alpenhof Hotel, thought to be the location of the Chalet School series by Elinor M Brent-Dyer. The hotels staff couldn't do enough for us, the manager even drove us down to Jenbach when we ordered a taxi. The waitresses, all in Tyrolean dress, were delightful. The rooms were spotlessly clean. My single was upgraded to a beautiful double with a balcony overlooking the mountains and a side window with a view towards the lake. The food was gorgeous. Beautiful continental style breakfast, soup at lunchtime which we only used once because we were out so much, free cake available in the afternoons, and a 3 course meal in the evening, all of which were gorgeous (meat, fish and vegetarian option available each evening). We had a gala dinner of 6 courses the night before we left. The manager Florian was lovely and answered all our questions about Pertisau, and we explained the Chalet School and the importance of Pertisau to him. There was a well-appointed gym that my friend used, an amazing children's play and exercise facilities, and a beautiful pool (indoor to outdoor) and an amazing water massage bed (20 euro, but well worth it). Highly recommend for couples, friends or families."

"Nice retreat from the city, separate toilet and shower, comes with a bathtub. Good breakfast spread, it was delicious and has a nice view of the lake. Rooms have mountain and lake view. Love the whirlpool and indoor & outdoor pool. The view from the pools are awesome and the sauna is great. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay."

"We enjoyed every moment of our stay in this Alpine lodge style hotel nestled in the pretty town of Pertisau, on Lake Achensee. The hotel itself is traditional in appearance but with many up to date touches and the spa facilities are excellent. The stand outs for us were the amazingly friendly, helpful and polite staff and the variety and quality of the fantastic food - and so much of it to choose from! Really nice touches were the organised (complementary) activities - we did the hiking in the mountains with Thomas and we saw many things we would have missed had we done the walk by ourselves and the hotel mini bus ride back to the train station at the end of our stay. We stayed in the ‘sister’ hotel a short walk back up the road from the main hotel. This was well equipped and immaculately clean with a comfortable bed, however the communal areas were a little dated - perhaps this is on the to do list as the main hotel is very nicely decorated and styled? There is so much to do in the hotel (themed evenings, a lovely bar area, outside seating areas etc..) that you never need stray far from the hotel, but that would mean missing out on the amazing views from the top of the cable car, fantastic hikes in the area, bike rental, boat trips on the lake- all within walking distance of the hotel. This was our first visit to the area and we would very much like to return. Thank you to the entire Hotel Kristall team for a wonderful stay."

"Me and my husband stayed at the Post am See during our ski vacation and despite there being very little snow to ski on, we had an amazing time thanks to the friendly team and beautiful location! The hotel was clean and peaceful, food was always delicious and other guests were mostly couples, which we prefer. Every single member of the team was so friendly that we felt like we were staying with family members, shame we didn’t book for longer! Will definitely want to return one day, maybe in summer when it’s their main season 😊."

Incredibly kind and caring staff with an immaculately kept hotel with wonderful facilities in the spa and swimming pool. This all in a setting of the most magnificent views of the mountains.
