Hazeldene Guest House
"Room is small but enough for me stay for one night. Staff is very helpful and breakfast is good. The hotel connects the city centre with a bridge, you can enjoy stunning views on the bridge."
Holiday Inn Express PERTH by IHG
"Room was great, bathroom was just okay. Breakfast was almost an ordeal. For the price we would give it 4 out of 5 but it was like having breakfast on a round about, bathroom was tired, the low point of the room."
The Bein Inn Hotel & Restaurant
"Cosy Hotel just outside Perth with some nice local walks."
Perth Youth Hostel and Apartments
"Having never stayed in a youth hostel I didn’t know what to expect and had some apprehension. But upon seeing my room all my concerns vanished. Starting with the outside there is plenty of free parking. The reception is next to the car park and is manned 24/7. The service from the reception staff is excellent, they are polite and efficient. Our room was super clean as was the ensuite, there was not a spec of dust. The room and ensuite are basic as you would expect for student accommodation. We were surprised that the hand soap had not been refilled there was about one tablespoon worth of soap in the bottle but we had bought our own soap so were fine. You will need to bring your own towels and shampoo too. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the equipment you’d expect (cooker, microwave) and from the kitchen you can walk to the balcony. The youth hostel is an excellent cost effective option compared to the hotels we saw that were charging 200£ a night due it being peak summer season. There is also a bus stop 5 minute walk away. I would not hesitate to stay here again."
Travelodge Perth Central
"This establishment is well located for visiting the city of Perth. Lovely room with a superb view over the River Tay. Comfortable bed contributed to a good sleep. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly return to The Travelodge Perth Central again soon"
Salutation Hotel
"Very nice and comfortable hotel, quiet old but it’s fine. Stuffs are really nice, close by the river. Very nice for a walk."
Meikleour Arms Hotel & Restaurant
"Lovely stay in a beautiful hotel with superb service and food."
Mercure Perth Hotel
"Staff were lovely, car park great and fantastic location. However the decor and bathroom were terribly dated and really need a refurbishment."
Travelodge Perth Broxden Junction
"Receptionist Jamie was cheerful and extremely helpful. She really made an effort to make us welcome and assist in any way she could."

The Parklands Hotel
"Very good breakfast Good size room and bathroom"
Grampian Hotel
"The check-in counter has friendly service. The hotel facilities are OK. There are many breakfast options. There is a stove-like decoration in the room. But I don't know if it can be used in winter. I am from the subtropical Asia and it is very novel."
The Townhouse
Tayside Hotel
"Arriving in the rear car-park didn't give the best impression of the hotel - very messy with full bins, tatty sheds and generally unkept. The outside of the hotel was also tatty and bordered on unclean. However, things improved inside. Yes it's an old hotel and a little worn in places, but quite grand and very clean and tidy. Our room was large (No.4) and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and so were the locals in the bar! Nice food, and we needed an early breakfast to catch a ferry and that was easily accommodated. Tayside - just give the grounds a bit of TLC - it would work wonders!"
The Smiddy Haugh
"Popped in for food and drinks while staying in the area. We ended up eating there for 2 of our 3 day stay. Food was delicious and reasonable . Even did a delicious cocktail tiramisu martini. Lovely welcoming log fire. Friendly staff. Definitely would visit again if in the area."
Murrayshall Country Estate
"The service of this hotel is very good. The owner even wrote a letter to the guests staying in the hotel. The hotel looks like a castle. According to the hotel staff, the hotel facilities are very historical. The breakfast is very rich, and you can eat a full Scottish breakfast. The hotel parking is very convenient, just at the door. There are plenty of parking spaces, suitable for self-driving. There are no other facilities around the hotel, which is very suitable for accommodation on the way from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands."
Inchture Hotel
"Super friendly staff dinner was wonderful in tye dining room. Would definitely recommend."
Rosebank Guest House
"Spent 2 night in this small friendly guest house, Caroline was the best host, Warm and friendly, and very accommodating to my dietary requirements. The rooms were large and modern, and the small touches separates this guest house from the others, I would highly recommend the Rosebank "
Leonardo Boutique Huntingtower Perth
"Away for 2 nights. Room spacious. Bit dusty in some parts. Bedding clean. Bathroom excellent. Spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Loads to choose from.Varied cooked options. Excellent service. Bar cosy. Had dinner in the hotel one evening. Very good. Lovely hotel set in the Perthshire countryside but not too far from Perth city centre. Hotel traditionally furnished with Scottish themes. Tartan upholstery and furnishings. Local framed pictures throughout. Hotel had varied nationalities staying, proving popular with foreign tourists."
Bankfoot Inn
"Best hotel I have stayed in. Hotel is stunning place is immaculate. Rooms are beautiful and beds are comfy. Gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Offered to help us with our bags up the stairs. Unfortunately we didn’t catch his name. Cathy and shanelle were so lovely and helpful they went above and beyond. The little extras in the room were a lovely touch. The food is out of this world so compliments to the chef. Breakfast was beautiful and we had lunch on our last day. I had Mac n cheese with chips and salad was beautiful. My friend had the lasagne and the sauce was out of this world. Will definitely be back can’t praise this hotel enough."
Ballathie House Hotel
"Very warm welcome. Perfect rooms, very nicely decorated, and excellent bedding. We also had dinner at the restaurant. Very good, but not quite gourmet. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant evening. The bar was also very welcoming, and the breakfast was perfect. Finally, the park is very beautiful. We just didn't have enough time to enjoy it more. We even forgot something in the room (of sentimental value). The hostess promised to mail it to us (at our expense, of course). It was absolutely charming. We highly recommend this hotel."
The Royal George Hotel
"It's very average. The room we were given is almost a basement, not the first floor. Walking down from the lobby, the smell is very strong. The mattress is also very uncomfortable and collapsed. There is very little breakfast. Would not recommend."
The Courtyard
"*The owners all were lovely, friendly and approachable - 5/5 *Location was perfect for us - 5/5 *Very little traffic noise from nearby very busy A90 - 4/5 *Beware! No breakfast provided but a quick tour into Errol and the local supermarket was sufficient for the first morning's needs. The Courtyard is advertised as B&B and website shows a continental breakfast - 0/5 *Beds - okay but a little noisy and restless sleep meant lots of creaks and 'pings' when turning in the night - 3/5 *Owner's doggies - lovely, friendly little things. 5/5 *Comfort: Settee/sofa was too hard for us and not at all comfortable to sit on; towels were fine but would have liked bathsheets rather than mere 'regular' size. They were quite hard and scratchy but I prefer that to too fluffy. 3/5 *Safety - no non-slip bath math and no 'grab bar' over the bath to help climb into the bath (there was one on wall by the door but it needs another on the far wall) 0/5 *Finally cleanliness - I'm very sad to give only a 3/5. LOTS of cobwebs containing the spiders' dinner remains, and dust on some surfaces. The loo had a mark that looked suspiciously like a small poo skiddy on the bowl and the seat had a hair on it. Kitchen utensils and bath ok but cleaner has no eye for detail in the nooks and crannies. *Would we go again? YES - but would take a bottle of bleach, breakfast items, non-slip bath mat and own bath sheets. "
