During your stay you can enjoy creek access for fishing or tubing (tubes included)! Relax on the front porch with your morning coffee and enjoy a fire pit in the evening (firewood provided). As a solo female traveler, this rustic cabin was the perfect retreat for my time away from the hustles and bustles of life. Safety and security were never a concern. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene. Emily was a very attentive host and I appreciated her prompt response to my questions.My only regret was I had to leave. I would have loved to stay longer.

Great little place. Clean, hot water and as described, cozy. Used it for access to Carlisle. Nice and quiet, got a good night's sleep.

This was a really comfortable cabin with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. As the name says, it was a good place for fishing and we had fun on the inner tubes, too. Highly recommend!

Title very accurate
If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind this is it. The scenery is beautiful. There is little to no traffic. Nice road to walk, bike, jog. We would have loved to stay longer.

Lacking attention to detail
First of all, we really did enjoy our time away. The interior of the cabin was clean, and had an over all rustic charm. The main French doors and window are beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. Heating and cooling worked well. The basics were covered in the kitchen/bathroom. Definitely an aesthetically cozy cabin.
There were a couple of things that caught us off guard.
The photos could be updated to give you a better idea of space . You could not open most of the curtains without jeopardizing your privacy. I will say that although the owners are right there, it was quiet. The outside area does lack attention to detail and looks unkept. Also note, there is only a mini fridge (which is pictured) so plan accordingly. WiFi service is very spotty but we enjoyed some games and there are some DVD’s available if you like. The stairs up to the loft are not kid friendly.
We had wonderful weather and did enjoy a nice walk down the road and a picnic lunch across the street along the creek. We went out one evening to grampa’s love shack which was really good. Definitely recommend!
