Budget type motel room
A budget motel type room.
Bedding was spotless and bed comfortable.
Room was a bit tired but perfectly adequate for one night.
Good continental breakfast included in price.
No onsite restaurant but there was a Buffalo Grill within a few minutes drive.
Kettle and paper cups provided with just one coffee and tea provided and two milks though I’m sure we could have asked reception for more.
The location was great for our journey back to UK from Spain.

Very disappointed with the restaurant, whilst food was ok it wasn't like the old days of camponile expectations. Seems like the food has gone downhill now in the camponile hotels, wont be staying again as was looking forward to a nice end of the day meal, not chicken nuggets.

Okay for price
Requested no stair access to the room when booking, was still given first floor. Sink in room cracked looked like it was about to fall off, reported to reception as I didn’t want them to think I’d done it and they said don’t worry about it. Bed was comfy and room clean overall okay for an overnight stop

Over 20 years Campanile has been our favourite budget hotel chain. Good locations for overnight stops. Basic but satisfactory facilities. However the main reason was it had the best food of any budget chain: starter was always a big buffet spread of hors d'oeuvre, a good value fixed price menu, a chef's special chosen and executed by the resident cook, and a short a la carte that always included a decent steak frîtes. Alas only the fixed price remains. Decent but very limited. The hors d'oeuvre table is still there but sadly empty. The food is now dictated by accountants!

A very Very old Campanile, without much around. But clean, it needs a lot on maintenance or better a full refurbishment. We used the restaurant, and the staff excelled, I think it was the manager that spoke English, it was a limited menu, due to being 2/1/23, so no buffet, but food was Ok. It is a little bit out of the way although near the motorway. We would stop again.

Das Hotel liegt im Stadtteil Porte d'Espagne, der recht grün ist. Es liegt nicht weit vom Aushopping Center mit Fastfood, aber auch Cafés und einem Aushan. Die Bauweise des Campaniles entspricht der Kette. Ich konnte vor der Tür meines Zimmers parken. Das Zimmer war wohl 14 qm groß und hatte ein Bad mit Wanne. Es gab eine Elektroheizung und eine Klimaanlage, die allerdings nur wärmte. Das 14 Euro teure Frühstück habe ich nicht genommen. Richtiges Abendessen gab es nicht. Es war immer ruhig. Das Personal war französisch und nett. Der Agoda - Preis war sehr günstig. Das eher schlechtere Ibis Budget war deutlich teurer.
