E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T! I have stayed at numerous good hotels throughout my life, and I must say that Villa Du Flot is one of the best. Greeted by the staff with umbrellas on a rainy day, luggage brought to our rooms, the bed so comfortable, the pillows fluffy, the AC unit in perfect temperature and easy to operate, the oversize bathtub and rain shower, lovely balcony, infinity pool in the garden, dining, wine testing, I can’t put a single spot on this stay. Thank you to the whole team, I’ve never felt better treated!

We visited in midst of 2 week trip through France into Spain. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a nice patio area. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and our visit to the Spa was EXACTLY what we needed to recharge for the rest of our travels.

We chose to stay in this hotel because we wanted to experience a smaller town in southern France that could be reached by a 2 hour train ride from Barcelona which was our primary destination. The hotel is beautifully situated inside a lovely well-tended garden. It offers an in-house spa offering a wide range of services, a highly acclaimed restaurant and also has a lovely, clean outdoor swimming pool. The included buffet was excellent. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The downside for us was its location. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the town. If you don’t have a car - taxis are a must because the walk is about 50 minutes along busy and highly trafficked roads. Perpignan itself was something of a disappointment. The old town offers a few boutique shops, a number of good sidewalk cafes and yet outside its central core seemed to be economically struggling and a bit run-down. We broke up our 3 day stay at Villa Duflot with a day trip by train to the coastal town of Collioure which was a delight. We wished we had booked an overnight stay in this walkable and vibrant coastal town.

Had a wonderful experience at Villa Dufflot! The location is excellent—very close to the train station, making travel convenient. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The Hotel is probably ideal for business people staying, its slick and business like, staff are very much geared to professional engagement, any questions, queries or requests that don't compute to what a business person may be requesting simply don't get anything like sensible responses, examples would be; 'where can I get a relaxed and informal breakfast, dinner or meal?', the answer given is 'the Hotel of course', which its not because the menu is limited, barely any vegetarian options and it firmly offers 'gastronomic dining', something a leisure traveller isn't always looking for especially if staying a few nights. Aside from that, the hotel is quite noisy, so sleeping was interrupted, remarkably there is NO gym, there are no lifts for 1st floor access and the restaurant food is limited, its also quite expensive. I would not return or recommend unless potentially for a short business trip.
