The Queens Hotel ★★★
"This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is nothing good about it except the location by the sea. The window in the room was covered with dust, and the bathroom floor was very dirty. There was no room service during the 3 days of stay, and I didn't see any cleaning staff to clean the bedding in the hotel for 3 days. I seriously doubt the hygiene of the hotel. The hotel breakfast is extremely simple, and it is also the worst English breakfast I have ever had in the UK. The salad on the menu is actually canned... So, I booked for 3 days, but I ate cereal with cold milk for 3 days. The staff was also very unfriendly. Since I was with my children, I couldn't find a hotel temporarily and was forced to stay. I don't know why Ctrip wants to help advertise this hotel. I suggest you choose it carefully."
The Longboat Inn ★★★★
"They guaranteed meal service, but that wasn't always delivered plus, there were often odd noises in the room at night."
The Dolphin Tavern ★★★
"We are a group of friends that used to work for the same company, now we have either retired or semiretired we meet up every few months for an afternoon which includes lunch and a few drinks. We have been to Penzance a few times now and the Dolphin is our first stop as it’s not far away from the station. When we arrive we order the drinks and ask for the menu, then the staff always say we can run you a tab which is great as you feel most welcome in the establishment, very friendly and attentive staff, good beers and food, well done."
The Lugger Inn ★★★
"The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station and feels like a guesthouse. The hotel conditions are very basic, but there aren't many options in Penzans at 800 a night during peak season. The fish soup at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is delicious. Breakfast is also good."
YHA Penzance ★★★
"Very welcoming staff and very friendly who showed us round and explained all. Room was bright, clean and spacious and value for money. Showers and toilets were clean to a good standard. Will definitely return and recommend"
Mount View Hotel B&B ★★★
"I enjoyed my stay there in Cornwall, a lovely little B&B. The room is clean and comfy, and good value."
Premier Inn Penzance ★★★
"The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and housekeeping was prompt. Most importantly, the location was superb, right next to the train and bus stations. Other hotels are a short walk away, but this one is practically just a left turn outside. Highly recommended! It's also not far from the beach, perfect for stargazing at night, watching the sunrise early in the morning, and even stargazing before dawn – absolutely stunning."
Hotel Penzance Harbour View ★★★★
"The service was excellent, and the hotel breakfast included an English breakfast option plus a self-service bread. However, the bathroom in the room was not very clean, the edges were dirty, and the soundproofing was terrible. But that's just how it is for this place."
Hotel Penzance Promenade ★★★★
"Wonderful location on the Promenade with attentive staff. Most enjoyable able experience."

Victoria Inn
"We had a really lovely meal here. Great food (far to good!) nice drink, very friendly staff. Lovely building. Comfy seating There isn’t much parking near the pub, but plenty of parking a bit further down the road at the beach car parks. Highly recommended."
Camellia Chalet
Duporth Guest House
"Lovely welcome Easy booking process Superbly located for the beach and/or town Lovely continental breakfast in a domestic size fridge which would also be great in the summer for cold soft drinks. Toaster, kettle and microwave are great. As is the perfectly sized breakfast table with a beach view. Minor, love/hate moment is no marmite! Room very clean. hard floors do allow some noise transmission from other rooms. All looks very neat, clean and tidy. I'd definitely stay again."
The Land's End Hotel
"The location of the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast and the food are excellent. There is a bit of amusement park hustle and bustle at the entrance but we didn't find that disturbing. The rooms and the bed are a bit small but comfortable."
Mr & MRS Smith Artist Residence Cornwall
"We stayed in the cottage as a family of five - it is a great space and perfectly equipped - cosy and characterful with enough space for us all. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and they had an excellent gluten free selection for our coeliac daughter. Highly recommended!"
Kings Arms
"What a great place to stay. Warm welcome, great rooms and enhanced by listening to the fantastic Mousehole Mens Choir who practice in Paul Church every Monday and then continue in the pub. Slept like babies and then were greeted by the most cheerful and welcoming Mia who brightened our day and served us a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely recommend a visit."
The Yacht Inn
"The Yacht Inn is opposite the ferry for the Scillies. We decided to stay locally to save a three hour drive in the middle of the night. We had a lovely overnight stay, lovely breakfast before strolling across the road and making our departure. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Food very good. Generous portions and good value. The hotel is under refurbishment and look forward to returning when complete. Our double room was small but very clean and tidy with great thought given to detail"
Bayview Cottage, Penzance with great sea views over the Bay & St Michaels Mount
Sennen Cove Cottage
"The location was perfect, within walking distance to the Sennen Cove and also very near to our planned places to visit. Very near to Lands End.Lovely hosts and even waited & helped us with the check in. Super clean fully equipped apartment. Thank you Jan. Will visit again on our next trip to Cornwall."
Breathtaking sea views, parking, beaches... your ideal home away from home.
The Stanley
"Me and the wife booked a couple nights here. Very nice and clean hotel. However unsure about staff as you don’t ever see them. But very happy with stay… bed was tiny and my legs hung off the bed so if you’re 6 ft or over then maybe get a bigger bed hah"
The Ship Inn
"The breakfast was decent, but the water pressure in the bathroom was low, and sometimes there was no hot water. Staying on the top floor meant being woken up several times by seagulls hitting the windows. However, the room was quite large, so it was acceptable."
Cape Cornwall Club
"These were the good points to my stay: - Friendly and helpful staff - Amazing location - Room was clean - Comfortable bed with crisp fresh linen - Decent sized bathroom with nice complimentary toiletries - Could see the sea from my bed Sadly though there were some things that let it down: - Room was a bit shabby, frayed carpet, holes in the wall, paint peeling off in places and a large fuse box in the middle of the wall. Only lighting was bright spot lights and the switch was next to the door. A bedside lamp would be good or at least a light switch in reach of the bed. - Breakfast was poor, an underwhelming low quality hot buffet and the continental option just consisted of a couple of packets of cereal, cheap fruit juice and some processed bread. No fresh fruit, pastries or yoghurt. Hot drinks came from a machine. I didn’t bother having the breakfast the second morning. - Sauna in the spa was lukewarm and the hot tub wasn’t the cleanest. For the money charged it was disappointing, it’s an amazing location and with a bit more care and a better quality breakfast could be lovely."
