The Old Post House B&B
"Spotless. Friendly and very comfortable. Lovely couple very helpful. Food excellent. Made to feel very welcome and nothing too much trouble. Excellent facilities. Will definitely use again. Most enjoyable 4 night stay. Central to where we wanted to visit and timed perfectly with the mining exhibition in st just. Made Vickys holiday and mine"
Hotel Penzance Harbour View
"Great location, great service, great view and great room!"
YHA Penzance
"Fairly basic YHA with small clean rooms, comfortable lounge and cafe, good selection of beers. We stayed before travelling to Scilly Isles and - compared to hostel in the Scilly Isles and a hotel in Exeter, which were similar prices per night to the YHA - it just could not compare with either."
The Queens Hotel
"It's hard to imagine that such a good hotel has no reviews on Ctrip. Opposite the hotel is the sea, which is very healing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available. It is a local classic."
Premier Inn Penzance
"The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to the train and bus stops, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The staff were friendly, the rooms were well-equipped, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience."
Mount View Hotel B&B
"Nice super dog friendly hotel.. Recommended travelling with dog"
The Lugger Inn
"We was disappointed to stay at the lugger inn hotel recently for our one year wedding anniversary, despite being on a great location by the sea, the hotel standard and services are very poor for the prize we had paid. The room lacks basic things like water, heating they have to provide us with a small plugging fan heater for over night which was shocking. In the morning we was surprised by the low quality of food and services, cereals was poored into big plastic containers not knowing how long they have been out? The just and the food all was looking outdated. At one point the bacon we ordered looked too old and stinky my partner could not eat the breakfast eventhough we paid £170 per night breakfast included, she has to give up eating anything that morning. I was reluctant to just try eating something but later I have stomach pain and diarrhea. The hotel does not provide bottle of water or anything like that over night. We will appreciate our money refunded. Absolutely no recommendations to anyone to stay there as this hotel need an entire new management and refurbishment as you walk upstairs you can ear the noise of wooden underflooring squicking under your feet and once on the room you can ear all sort of the noise of flooring soon as someone walking or moving around so annoying you can't even rest. The lady owner working hard to save her business but the help she have is not adequate. One staff doing our bread toasting for breakfast touching it by hands and mopping at the same time touching the dirty mop no hygiene rules observing at place. We saw dirty places stayed there over night and trash tray of glasses laying on some breakfast table no one taking care to remove it so concerned it puts you of to see a chaotic environment and they dont want to allow us to make our own tea, coffee or toast but they prefer the cleaner who has been handling the dirty mop deal with our bread and food delivery on half dirty plates we took some pictures as we didn't want to be confrontational with them as the owner lady is seemed a nice person but she need help for herself as she didn't even change her dirty clothes of last night stained with food sauce visibly tired and overwhelmed as she runs everything with little help of her grand kids such a pity. We are so disappointed"
The Land's End Hotel
"The location is perfect, right at the Land's end, which can be said to be a scenic spot with unlimited views. I vaguely remembered that I had made a reservation for dinner. When I asked, I was confused and told me that I didn't have a reservation. In the end, I could only enjoy the dishes ordered at the bar, which was obviously not of the same level. , fortunately, the breakfast was saved, the restaurant has beautiful scenery, and the mood is comfortable."
Coach and Horses Inn
"Outstanding hotel. From start to finish. Staff were friendly and welcoming which after a long journey is the most important. The room was cleaned and well equipped to support your stay. They also supported us when our clothes were wet from the previous day. Food was a highlight here too. Everything was delicious. I’d recommend a visit here. It’s a must as it’s close to Penzance but quiet at the same time. You’ll need a car to drive here."

Dunedin Guest House
"What a lovely stay at this lovely traditional guest house. The owner-managers were so incredibly helpful and friendly and happy to share their extensive local knowledge. Duncan arranged taxis for us and gave us plenty of good advice on our trips, particularly to the marvellous Minack open air theatre. Dunedin is well located a short walk from the sea front and in the other direction across a lovely park to the town centre. The area is well served by buses. Our room was traditionally furnished but with a nice new bathroom and was very comfortable. Breakfasts are wonderfully well cooked. We strongly recommend Dunedin"
Higher Faugan Parc
"We had an amazing stay! The day was a bit rainy but we could still appreciate how beautiful the location was! The property is surrounded by nature and a garden. Doug, the owner was very friendly and attentive! We got an upgrade, and the room was superb! Very clean and great size! Also, we were impressed by the breakfast offered in the room. I would recommend staying here 100%!"
Carnson House
"The room is very old and the soundproofing is very poor. You can even hear the snoring in the next room when you sleep at night! The door of the bathroom is actually a board, and it feels like it will fall off if you push it hard! There is no sound insulation at all, it feels like taking a shower next to the bed! And according to our guess, the passwords for the door and each room are the same, which really makes us worry and difficult to fall asleep at night. The attitude of the male owner is very average. He is an old man. He has many rules and requirements. When my mother was sending a message on her mobile phone, he arrogantly signaled her to listen to his check-in rules, otherwise he would not tell her. In short, this hotel has nothing to recommend it. The breakfast is also very average. There is basically no optional meals to eat. Other hotels will prepare bread and the like, but this hotel makes me feel very shabby. The price is not cheap, the cost performance is very low, and the window faces the wall of the train station. It is very aggrieved. It is not recommended to stay here. The only advantage is that you can walk to the train station, but there are many hotels that can be chosen within a few minutes' walk from the train station. The cost performance is very low, the attitude is very average, and the breakfast and hardware facilities are not good. In short, it is not recommended to stay here."
Bay Lodge
"This is my first time I lived in a hotel. Welcoming was good and their service and behaviour was excellent. They were so friendly and helpful. Room was so tidy and clean. Overall my experience was tremendous"
Bayview Cottage, Penzance with great sea views over the Bay & St Michaels Mount
Victoria Inn
"Our second stay at this fabulous place was even better than the first a year ago. Very warm welcome which continued throughout our two night stay. Room three is beautiful and very comfortable. We had dinner one night with family and all enjoyed every mouthful. Breakfasts are on another level. The yoghurt and fruit, full breakfast and avocado on toast were all meals I would readily eat again if that were possible. If we are back in the area again this would our first choice for certain."
The Yacht Inn
"Nice place to go for a meal and a glass of pims and a glass of wine and cheesy chips and the staff are friendly and helpful and polite and amazing and brilliant and fabulous and fantastic and it is a lovely place to come for a roast "
The Stanley
"Great place to stay near The Scillonian. We had family room and it was fab!! A little of stairs tho! No breakfast included but that was fine as left early to get boat. Had Bfast baps from nearby cafe. East parking on road. Spotlessly clean and great views. Would definitely use again."
Duporth Guest House
"The room is very comfortable and close to the beach. It is very convenient and worth recommending"
The Ship Inn
"The breakfast was decent, but the water pressure in the bathroom was low, and sometimes there was no hot water. Staying on the top floor meant being woken up several times by seagulls hitting the windows. However, the room was quite large, so it was acceptable."
Cape Cornwall Club
"Quoted from their website ‘thick-walled stone farmhouse barn, each hotel room is seconds from the busy hustle and bustle of the Club’s activities so that you are assured complete tranquility, with only the sounds of the sea birds, the crashing ocean and the wafting winds to interrupt your rest’ You can hear everything from your room!!!!!! Drunken groups of me on the first nicht and loud music and more drunken groups on the 2nd night. No tranquility at all. We came for a restful weekend. . Disappointed. Ok to put on events, but no consideration for your guests staying near by!!! Breakfast: food not replenished. Coffee machine empty, staff stood around laughing and joking. Toaster rubbish, put my toast in a total of 7 times, even adjusted settings, bread still not toasted. All in all really disappointed with our stay. Reception not manned 24hrs did call them out of hours to complain about the noise disruption, but no answer or general concern for their guests! You would expect it at a premier inn but not at a club, which you’ve paid a lot of money for!! Rooms nothing special but did the job. Pool area basic, but ok. Not enough seating around the pool area if you just want to relax by the pool and not swim. I wouldn’t rush to stay here, nor would I say you would get a restful nights sleep. Defo need to take guests concerns more seriously or do the club only care about its members and no one else???"
The Longboat Inn
"They guaranteed meal service, but that wasn't always delivered plus, there were often odd noises in the room at night."
