El lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes y desconectarte de la rutina. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero con lo básico. Lugar en medio de la naturaleza, no cuentas con TV en la habitación pero el alojamiento tiene varias áreas comunes donde puedes distraerte, desde billar hasta miradores. Nosotros fuimos en temporada de sequía pero en teoría el alojamiento tiene vista al lago. Incluye desayuno con dos opciones, la básica desayuno americano y un desayuno mas típico del lugar, y durante el dia el restaurante ofrece servicios para poder comer ahi. El alojamiento se encuentra alejado de las zonas turística por lo que necesitas moverte en transporte público o en taxi que puedes pedir en recepción. El wifi del hotel es muy bueno por lo que puedes trabajar ahi sin ningun problema.

Gutapé tiene un sin numero de opciones de hospedaje. Soy Local resulta agradable si se quiere uno desconectar completamente del mundo. Sus instalaciones son muy comodas y bastante agradables. Habitaciones modernas y con buen mobiliario pero sin televisor. Tambien tiene un pequeño muelle al embalse. Lo malo: La vía de acceso es un carreteable en malas condiciones y queda a mas de 20 minutos caminando desde la via principal. No hay señal de telefonía por lo que se depende completamente de la señal wifi del hotel. Se depende de los empleados de la recepción para domicilios o transporte hacia Guatape. Excelente si se esta buscando desconectarse del mundo.

We stayed at Soy Local on mid-April, 2022. This hotel has many problems that should have you looking elsewhere: 1) The reception is staffed by people who never smile, and are the opposite of welcoming; 2) The walls are paper thin and it is extremely loud and impossible to sleep; 3) The hot water is not consistent; 3) We used their laundry service; they said it would be ready the following morning, and it was not washed, or even taken out of the bag; 4) It is difficult to get to and taxis are thus expensive (our first costly one in Colombia), and it's not worth it because there's a massive power line/tower that runs through the property, robbing it of a remote/rural beauty. This place is a disappointment. Avoid.

To avoid for its very selective policy, in 2022 it is inconcevable. About the hotel it self, better to sleep outside it is not worth it and definitely not worth the customer service toward the clients of the hotel, so again it’s just better to avoid it.

Hermoso hotel en una zona muy tranquila y natural. Solo pediría que tuvieran tv en las habitaciones. Y arreglar un poco la entrada al hotel , Por el resto es un hotel a donde se quiere volver.

Un hotel básico para desconectarse
La zona social del hotel es bonita, tiene salida a la represa y lindos jardines.
Las habitaciones son sencillas. La mayoría son muy pequeñas a excepción de la familiar que tiene buen espacio.
A la habitación le faltaba ventilación porque olía un poco a humedad.
El lugar casi no tiene señal de celular y el wifi funciona en ciertos puntos del hotel, lo bueno es que esto invita a la desconexión (no hay TV en habitaciones).
Le falta un poco de mantenimiento.
En el restaurante deben mejorar la temperatura de los alimentos .. sirven muy frío el desayuno (es bien sencillo).

Muy buena experiencia
El hotel es cómodo, limpio y cuenta con todo lo necesario para tener una estadía modesta pero cómoda y gratificante. Tiene acceso a la represa, cuenta con kayaks. La habitación fue cómoda y el baño tenía agua caliente. La comida fue buena. Lo único es la vía de acceso que está un poco deteriorada y en automóvil es un poco tedioso el ingreso.

Great place to enjoy the beautiful lake & Guatape
Great location off the main roads. Kayjak and Jetski Rental available from the hotel dock. Great value and food and at amazing prices. There is even a bar in the evening with great drinks and music. Service was great (Veronica). Tons of amazing birds to see on property. No reason to leave.
Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy the beautiful country and people. Skip the cities, go here.
