We had a lovely stay whilst waiting for our ferry back to the mainland. It is huge and had a great view of the wild seas. A short walk away from the local pub, cafes and supermarkets. The owners were very accomodating of our booking (made just a few hours before check in), and they made sure everything was set up and ready for us. Will definitely stay there again when I back on KI.

The property was great. You do need a car, but everything is nearby. There is an information centre just across the street. The view from the apartment is the best and everything you need is found within the unit. It is defiantly home away from home. We highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic views
Fabulous place to stay the apartment is close to the ferry (walking distance) and Penneshaw amenities and looks out over a lovely little marina and the ocean
Couldn’t have asked for a better place and the owners were great

We (4 adults and 2 children) stayed there for three nights and loved it! Nice view, clean, generous space, everything is available in the apartment and feels like home. The host was available and super helpful. Overall, excellent accommodation option in Kangaroo Island.

We stayed in Apartment 36 and it was immaculately presented. Clean and modern with wifi (although a little slow) , large smart TVs and good air conditioning. We did have a plumbing issue but it did not detract from a nice few days. Pleasant ocean views but they may suffer a little when the house in front is finished.

The apartment is a nice short walk into Penneshaw so we could amble into the pub for dinner and cafes for breakfast. The host is super helpful

Thank you for having us … but not sure how you get away with charging $400 per nite. Our ‘welcome’ included: •bucket/mop & cobweb covered lights at the front sea entrance • grubby windows, ripped fly screens & filthy sliding doors •inadequate shower alcove , ridiculously small. •stained bathroom towels •rusty soap dispensers •missing kitchenette bar fridge & rubbish bin •greasy upstairs fridge top & unwashed glass baking dish •leaking upstairs toilet •broken downstairs table leg … dangerous & not ‘child friendly’ •squeaky sliding bedroom cupboard doors •tired pillows, cushions & bed topper •spare pillows no pillow cases •old chipped plates, rusty cutlery & tongs that don’t work •aged shabby furniture
