Motel 6 Pendleton, or

This Motel 6, unlike a number of other ones, is overall well-maintained and a safe and pleasant place to stay. The room I was in was clean and comfortable. The parking lot was clean and well-lit, which added to the feeling of security. The free internet service worked very well. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The only problem I encountered at the property was that neither of the ice machines were working; something that's needed in this hot portion of Eastern Oregon during the summer. The motel staff had made a temporary accomodation to this problem by putting an ice chest in the lobby area with a scoop in it - not exactly the best method to dispense ice in terms of sanitation. Hopefully the ice machines will be repaired/replaced quickly. One drawaback - the motel is very conveniently located just off of Interstate 84. Unfortunately, the only restaurant that was near the motel has closed, leaving the choice of either gas station food or driving a few miles from the motel into Pendleton to find food, or getting pizza delivered during the day. There are no breakfast opportunities nearby. After traveling all day, this is neither a welcome idea (nor a terribly inexpensive one).

We stayed for Whiskey Fest weekend. After the concert, we were expecting to get some rest for our travel home the following day. WRONG.. the staff allowed a party of 15-20 people outside until about 3 AM. Several folks asked the staff to shut the pool party down, but NOTHING was done. FINALLY, another hotel guest was furious and threatened to fight them all if they did not go back into their rooms. This actually worked. I would not have wanted to be in one of the rooms by them, but at least the rest of us with rooms near the pool area could finally get 2 or three hours' sleep before hitting the road. To top it off there were these little black bugs all over our room... Seriously.. they were crawling all over. If we had not been so tired, we would have driven home. If people want to party ...go ahead.. all the bars were open downtown. And the bugs.. I don't believe they were bed bugs, but still pretty disgusting.

These people were very helpful and friendly, Rooms were clean and very comfortable place to stay at. Only problem i had was the stores were to far to walk to so i had to take a taxi. I did order Door Dash for my food and that made it better. Thanks motel 6 for my pleasant stay.

What do you expect at one of the oldest motel chains in the nation, But they always seem to get it right, and it seems like motel rooms are getting minimalistic, which makes it easier on the staff, my room was clean, towels were not enough, but I can deal with that, had a great night, they did have pool,….slept like a Rumplestilskinn..when my alarm went off and I turned it off there was still “NO BREAKFAST!!”but they left a light on for me , so I can’t complain!…4 out of 5 Star.

After our last bad experience at a Motel 6 in Wells Nevada we are so impressed with this one in Pendleton Oregon. The room is clean, even smells clean and the bed is comfortable and the quilt doesn’t have burn holes in it. The shower is clean, not peeling on the floor and everything is updated and not needing paint. Also the smoke alarm isn’t covered with a plastic bag.

Stay in Motel 6 often because we travel with our pup and she stays free here. We sometimes settle for not so good places with not so good rooms but not this time. Property well maintained. Even had a nice pool! Staff friendly. Room clean and had been updated. This is definitely one of the best Motel 6 we have stayed at. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
