"Chinese people should not stay here. The hostess has a very bad attitude and the stay experience is poor. 1. The room is poorly soundproofed. You can hear the TV next door and the noise from the corridor. 2. The sound of water backflow in the toilet affects sleep all night 3. You need to pay to use the room safe, 3 euros a day, speechless 4. The sheets were dirty and the quilt was a tablecloth-like cloth, thin and hard. I didn't sleep comfortably at any night! ! ! This is the most unacceptable! ! 5. The air conditioner blows air intermittently. It is loud for 10 seconds when it blows air. After it stops, the whole room becomes stuffy. 6. The room smells stuffy 7. I wanted my boss to help me book a taxi to the airport, but his attitude was terrible. 8. The shower room is so small that it hits your hands when washing your hair. There is no place to put things. 9. The balcony door lock is also a key lock, which is difficult to lock and very troublesome."

The downsides: the beds were saggy, and the room wasn't fully finished (half-plastered). We were also next to a very noisy restaurant. You had to pay for bikes, and the drinks were very expensive. So, make your choice accordingly."

"I really liked the hotel. The hosts were very hospitable! The hotel is not large, but very cozy and clean. Rooms are cleaned every day except Thursday. Breakfasts are small, but everything is tasty and fresh. The sea is a couple of minutes' walk away, and the sea is very impressive. There are many cafes, restaurants, and a small shop in the area. Lidl and Euroski supermarkets are not far from the hotel. On Tuesdays, a mobile market comes along these shops. The market sells meat, sausages, cheeses, olives, olive oils, wine, fruit, sweets, leather goods, and clothing. There is a tour desk. We bought a guided tour of Palma, went to the cathedral and a little bit of the city - we really enjoyed it. The guide in Palma, Alena, made the tour so enjoyable - I recommend her. There is also a bus stop nearby. We went to Palma for a walk ourselves on bus 102. You can go to the ring road (that's the bus station, and buses to other cities go there too). Everything was very clear (I don't speak much English). We loved everything! I wish everyone a wonderful holiday!!!"

"Warm welcome by Eugenio who is the heart and soul of this nice boutique hotel. The room was nice and clean. It's well equiped with sufficent hangers and even a small fridge. Even the balcony has a decent size as well as the bathroom. The sleeping comfort is good. There is even an open-air roof top lounge where youn can bring your own drinks. The breakfast has a large varity and is very tasty. The staff is nice and helpfull. The only disadvantage was that the elevator wasn't working. Still we would come back. Gracias."

"In need of refit, dated and poor use of space. Staff seem over worked and burnt out. Our room was awful, actually think we were allocated a room no longer in use. Food in buffet was poor. Typical 1970s style Spain holiday without the cheer. Entertainment team tried there best. Very overpriced and very expensive if not AI. Decent pool for kids. Larger pools dirty and far too much chlorine. Explained to hotel prior to our stay we arrived after health concerns and to celebrate my sons 07th Birthday. This was ignored. We left hotel after 4 nights and travelled to stay up in Palma. Underwhelmed and sad. Had hoped for so much more."

"From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Anita at the check in the holiday had truly started. Anita has been helpful throughout our stay.. The staff are great with the animation team, Angie, Adrianne & Reka keen to get you involved in the activities if you wish to do so. i can recommend the pilates & yoga along with the pool activities. All three staff are so friendly. Joycelyn and Mesi were our two waitresses who looked after us very well and recommended some very nice wines. Both have lovely personalities We have enjoyed the evening entertainment with a massive shout to the Soul Diva whom we all loved. This finishes at 11pm The food in the main restaurant was excellent with a wide selection of meat fish & vegetable dishes changing nightly. The rooms are of a good standard and we paid for a sea view & balcony. They are two singles together rather than a double The town is great with three excellent sandy beaches and a fourth 45 minutes away ( not worth the walk imho) as very small & rocky. Also a good place to explore from. The only one negative was the food in the pool bar which we had a bad experience of - there was a problem with the kitchen and we would say the food. Toasted sandwiches were fried bread, the advacado & prawn on bread has six of the smallest frozen prawns you have seen in your life oh and 45 minutes to prepare 4 sandwiches - suffice to say we did not go there again. It needs fixing."

"Excellent team at reception, restaurant, and room maintenance, which were spotless. Towels were changed daily. Themed dinner evenings included grilled food, tapas, pizza, etc. We glimpsed the Russian owner, but she never came to speak to us. The restaurant offered good value for money. A major drawback we were unaware of before our stay: a significant number of stairs and steps to reach the room. This was a major issue. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, only at the top of the building around the restaurant and pool. The breakfast was very Nordic, like many things here, but the focus is clearly on satisfying the dominant clientele, with few local products. The birds were feasting on the bread left out in the open! Not very hygienic. However, the overall impression was acceptable for a region where it's difficult to believe you're in "Catalonia of the Balearic Islands" or even in Spain at all."

"Basic apartments, value for money.One of the downsides were the rock hard beds! You get what you pay for considering it was a cheap & cheeful hols.Expect tiny ants if you leave food out! Rooms were cleaned daily, ok standard. Hotel has 2 blocks both with pools but was a bit cold...kids went in anyway. 2 mins walk to the beach. The apartments are located on the main street in Paguera so very convenient if u choose to go self-catering.Lots of shops on your doorstep. We went half-board,the food was Ok, usual buffet style. The beach is only 2 mins away, which was a bonus! Menus, signs & notices in Spanish & German as Paguera is popular with German tourists. That didn't bother us at all...had a great laugh trying to communicate in broken spanish🤣.Staff also speak basic German,you hardly come across English speaking locals, which was great for us as we wanted a full local experience😍.Went on a 5hr boat trip to Dragon Island, €120(incl lunch & refreshments) 2 adults & 2 children. Best part of our hols!The Dock was only 10 mins away. Took day trips to Palma, Santa Ponsa & Magaluf, but stop right outside the apartments. Would stay there again if we found another bargain with teletext but not if paying full wack!😜"

"When we checked in with our 7 year old, José told us that children could only use the swimming pools if they 'didn't make any noise'! This was hardly a warm welcome after a day of travelling. We asked for our money back but he refused us. If Apartmentos Ponent wants to muzzle children, they should go adult only. However they won't do thus because they want money from families but refuse to be family friendly. Also misleading information on website - no sea view unless on top 5th floor - don't stay here - No way José!"

"What can I say… what a delightful stay we had! 👏 The hotel was beautiful, clean, modern and tidy throughout. Our standard double room was on the small side for us, and unfortunately the frosted glass & curtains didn’t give us quite enough privacy. We did manage to upgrade to a Junior Suite, and this was well worth the extra money! The Junior Suite had a lovely large living space, separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and a huge shower. We absolutely loved it! The restaurant was also a very pleasant experience. The food was very good, with a nice selection to suit most people. There were a few nights where it didn’t quite tickle our fancy, so we decided to eat out, but in general the food was lovely, varied and, like the rest of the hotel, very clean. The restaurant does state that smart clothing, including trousers, is required. However, upon arrival we found this wasn’t really the case. As long as you were smartly dressed, there didn’t seem to be any issues, and shorts never appeared to be a problem. The hotel offered three pools. One of these was on the rooftop, although it wasn’t really the best swimming pool. It was quite small and shallow. Perfect for dipping your toes in on a hot day, though! The other two pools were lovely, more than adequate for having a swim and cooling down. The pool bar offered a great selection of food and drinks at fairly reasonable prices. The food was delicious and, again, everything was clean and well presented. The only downside around the main pool area was the sunbeds. They were quite close together and there wasn’t a huge amount of space around each one. There also weren’t a huge number of sunbeds. We did visit slightly out of season, so I can imagine this could be more of an issue during the busy summer months. The evening entertainment was pretty standard. Quiz nights and bingo were also available before the live entertainment started. The same animation team also offered various activities throughout the day, including pool games and water aerobics, alongside things such as darts, cocktail classes and other activities for those who wanted to get involved. The staff were also incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. One thing to bear in mind if booking as part of a package holiday is the transfer from the airport. Our transfer was around 1 hour 30 minutes, so we would definitely recommend getting a taxi if your budget allows. A direct taxi journey is around 30 minutes from the airport, which would make a big difference after a flight. The hotel is situated on a slight hill, so bear this in mind when walking down towards the main strip. However, the location is great, and the beach is fantastic! 🏖️ We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would 100% return in the future!"

"A charming hotel just a few minutes’ walk from both the beach and the main shopping street in Peguera. It has that relaxed, slightly eclectic feel that makes it an easy place to settle into. We spent most evenings in the hotel’s lovely garden restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service just as good. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful – also at breakfast, where everything ran smoothly, even with our mixture of German, English, Spanish, Italian and a touch of French. When we asked to change rooms after the first night, it was handled immediately and without any fuss. Rooms are cute, with a touch of retro style, though the walls aren’t the thickest. If your neighbours enjoy an early-morning chat, you may well hear it. Heating doesn’t seem to be available; in early November the room did cool down in the evenings. Still, it’s a pleasant place to stay, and the pool area adds nicely to the overall atmosphere. Wines and beers were of good quality and fairly priced – simple, honest, and exactly what you want after a day out or a heavy workshop day (which is why we were there). Parking behind the hotel was easy with the hire car, and the bus stop into Palma is only about five minutes away, with the journey taking roughly 40 minutes. A final point worth mentioning: the hotel is full of interesting pictures and artwork. I wish I’d had more time to wander around and enjoy it properly. Verdict: A warm, characterful base in Peguera with excellent food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’d happily stay again."
