It was a great place situated up above the Hudson with great views. The room was superb and included a separate sitting room. Worked great for my wife and I in terms of size. It was a little expensive and they ran out of room in the spa by the time we had tris to schedule 2 weeks prior to our stay.

We stayed at the Abbey Inn & Spa for a cousins wedding in October 2025. We enjoyed 3 wonderful days at this hotel. Superb setting for a wedding. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. The entire hotel (including our room) is kept immaculately clean. We had some issues regarding our rate/bill and the management/reception staff were more than willing to listen to us in order to find a mutually acceptable solution. Small quibble would be that breakfast is a la carte only - not the usual buffet style breakfast with selection of cereals etc that most hotels serve. Thanks to all for a wonderful few days.

This was a last minute trip and we needed a nice place to stop on our travels. We could not have found a better stop. Lizzie gave us such a warm welcome and personal tour. Marie made us feel so welcome at the beautiful bar. Dinner was delicious and special. Our room was peaceful. And Victor made our stay so very memorable with his incredibly kind gestures. We were traveling to a funeral and this just what we needed. We will be back.

We loved this one of a kind gem in the Hudson Valley. The front desk and wait staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the manager even drove us to the train station. The food and wine were superb, we ended up eating there every evening. The views of the Hudson River from the Abby are breathtaking. The architectural textural detail inside and outside the building areincredible. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

The Abbey inn & Spa is a great find. We happen upon it and Wozer! What a treat. Whoever took this timeless Abbey and turned it into a charming resort was a genius. The architecture & decor are in a league of their own. The staff and food were both exceptional. We look forward to a return visit on our way back down the Hudson. D&Z
