Frontier Hotel Pawhuska

This is our 3rd time staying here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The young lady at the desk offered to pick up food for my wife at Ptolemy, the local restaurant, because she nice my wife had a cane and has issues climbing stairs! She also made sure to have the air conditioner turned on early and closed all the curtains due to the 100 degree weather The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was also very clean. Loved having a small kitchen area with a table to enjoy my morning coffee. The hotel now offers a dedicated parking lot, but it’s a fairly long walk if you are older or have problems walking. Thankfully you can park directly in front of hotel to load or unload your car, Definitely a unique place to stay, and always insist on staying here while visiting the Mercantile next door.

This hotel is excellent! The rooms are large with comfy beds and pillows. It is in walking distance (actually across the street) from the Merchantile and P-Town. But the best thing about this place is the staff. Lacey at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we found our way through some street construction and even offered to help us get our things from the car. She was a delight! Our housekeeper, Angie, left us personal notes each day and kept our room spotless. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Pawhuska.

This is such a beautiful place to stay. It’s an old building that’s been renovated beautifully. It’s clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff is friendly. It’s quite possibly my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at in the United States. It’s also right across from the amazing food at the Merc. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
