Effie Hotel
"The hotel is a very normal Greek hotel. Breakfast buffet, as you know. Yes, it was central, but you had to go more than 3 minutes ;-)"
Skala Hotel
"Like going back to a second home, staying at the Hotel Skala is a treat in every way. And, this time, our twelfth visit, we stayed three weeks enjoying everything the hotel and Patmos have to offer--in a word, a perfect Greek island vacation made possible by a warm, friendly, and efficient management and staff who make you feel like family. The hotel is an ideal combination of location (in the heart of the town and mere steps away from the lively port and the main streets) and peace, greenery and serenity; the Skala's entrance and flower-surrounded courtyard with seawater pool with bar are set off from the main street. They are reached via a short, lush bougainvillea-covered entryway. So all you hear is the bubbling water of a small fountain as you enjoy the varied breakfast choices on the sun-drenched terrace. Rooms are comfortable and modern and kept clean, crisp and cool. In some rooms with a seaview, you can sit on the balcony and take in the blue of the sea and sky before deciding which beach or attraction you want to enjoy, day and night. Whether it's the absolutely transparent and refreshing Aegean water with fish which swim up the beaches or a visit up the hill to white-walled Chora for a daytime visit to the Unesco-recognized monastery and church sites or in the evening for fine restaurant meal with a stunning view of Skala with its twinkling lights below, you will remember the sights all winter--and come back as we did the next year! While we appreciate all the team members at the hotel, a special word here for Anastasia at the reception, Dimitris in the breakfast room, and Dimitry at the bar. Manager Dimitry, now two years into his management, is perpetuating the top quality of the Skala, with dedication to improving it every year--although it's tough to see how! Thanks to all and see you next year!"
Silver Beach
"Bad experience not recommended. Overpriced 2star “hotel” as it is advertised on the site but we were extremely disappointed to find out that Silver Beach is not a hotel but a two floor building with rooms only. Our booking was for just two nights on June 14-16 not a peak season but it was overpriced and a big disappointment. Charge for two nights in a very small double room for 384€ BB (192€/night). No one around to assist or receive any complains. Ghost hotel!!! The rooms are beachfront located at “Grikos” next to a big unit under the same Management. However, No front desk Not a sign with the building’s name, difficult to reach and find it Check in at a different location Poor facilities of the room were not up to standards Very small bathroom, with brand new towels (the only Breakfast venue : one small veranda with only 4-5 tables and chairs not enough for all customers so we sat on a couch and a small coffee table as we were instructed to wait or come back later). So we had breakfast there. Poor quality of food, miserable variety !!! Noisy at night, slamming on the doors every time we left room Mosquitos everywhere, how to avoid mosquitos still unknown to the unit. We regret our booking… There are plenty of nice hotels and rooms around at this beautiful island of Aegean Sea. Find one and enjoy Patmos."
Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa
"Anasa spa is amazing! Had the most relaxing facial of my life. They used lavender which was so great and have a wonderful face message. Spieros is the best! Aktis is wonderful! It is so beautiful and the food is also delicious. "
Golden Sun Hotel Patmos
"Very good price per value Hotel. We had a renewed room with partial view on the amazing Grikos Bay. Big Room with big bathroom (double washbasin very practical) and basic forniture, but we had all what we needed. Good buffet breakfast with terrace on the Bay. The wasps outside were very annoying, but you can choose to stay in the breakfast room inside. Andrianna and Irina at the reception were always kind and helpful and gave us plenty of suggestions during our stay. Peaceful Hotel in a great position at walking distance to Petra Beach. Due to the location there is a lot of stairs, so definitely not suitable for disabled people."
Asteri Hotel
"Clean studio with an unbeatable view and very competitive prices, just 50 m from the beach. The owner is a true Greek – a bit rough and a man of few words, but with a heart of gold. He has spent his whole life at sea, and his stories, though rare, carry the depth of the ocean. Don't miss to eat at the restaurant of his brother beside the studios. Excellent genuine greek food."
Byzance Hotel
"The Byzance Hotel was fabulous! Large room for 3, accommodated for 3 when asked at short notice. Location from port is 100 meters, and to the centre was 300 meters. Bus Stop was 100 meters. Service from owner and staff was impeccable. Would definitely stay here again, over and over! Everything about it was great!"
Porto Scoutari Romantic Hotel
"Amazing location, very spacious rooms, large pool, fantastic breakfast choices, and warm welcome and personal service. A good taverna is just a walk away and Skala a short 5 min drive. The hotel would benefit from some updating, but bed was very comfortable and fridge well-stocked. Simona made lovely homemade cakes and treats for breakfast as well as usual hot fare - all very delicious. The hotel was quiet when we were there, but we still enjoyed its lovely position, and the owner was warm and personable."
Elia
"This was such a delightful stay. Athena the host is equally delightful. She picked us up at Midnight from the ferry even though it is a 5 minute walk that would be complicated at 12am. The Greek breakfast is fresh and good. The rooms are very clean and lovely. We could see the sunset and ocean from our double doors and balcony. The location has been perfect. We have traveled the whole island. We leave tonight at 10pm and the owners are allowing us to keep our room. I will definitely be back. This island is such a peaceful island. Beaches are beautiful as are the holy sights"

9 Muses Exclusive Apartments
"9 muses is the correct name for this lovely and beautiful hotel as Eva the greatest manager as well as every staff in this hotel are one of the welcoming and friendly people I have ever met. The location of the hotel is great. Its between Scala and Grikos. Kampos Beach 15 minutes , Agiros Livada 10 minutes and Petra Beach 5 minutes away by car ( presuming not heavy traffic) The view is absolutely gorgeous and rejuvenating. There are steps for those who have knee problems but very managable. Our room name was Callipoe, duplex room with dining room both inside and outside. The only suggestion I would make at this point is to provide nespresso machine. Overall, if you choose to stay in this lovely hotel, you would treat yourself and/or your loved ones a great gift."
The Petra, Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"Excellent stay at "The Petra" - everything here was we had wished for: seamless and personalized arrival and departure, tastefully designed rooms that do not compromise comfort for design, wonderful breakfasts with daily changing dishes, excellent support in booking restaurants, giving advice. Everyone here - the receptionist, the waiter team and Petra, the owner herself - really went out of their way in a good way to make you feel comfortable: no fake "hospitality smile", but a genuine sense of care. Pool is sufficient size, and we loved that our room had a "pool access" and shadow in the afternoon, so we could actually use the terrace. It's a 2-min walk down to Grykos beach, with a few restaurnats and a nice fisher harbour - though the better beach for swimming is Only two minors things to improve - only one aircon unit: - while we loved the design, layout and pool access, our suite only had one aircon unit in the main room, so the bedroom door had to stay open to get cool air - no issue for us, but if you are multiple people and want to sleep with the bedroom door closed for privacy you might want to ask for a different room. - departure / arrival pickup: while we value great service and absolutely understand that it comes at a cost, the EUR 60+ for the 5-min ride from the harbour is steep ;-), especially for a van where the aircon in the back did not work both ways, and the driver basically put your luggage on the street, pointing to the departure area - failing to even mention that instead of waiting for the ferry in the hot outside area there was the lovely Patmos Yacht Club where you can wait with a drink on the terrace, and have direct access to the harbour... that did not meet the rest of the service"
Eirini Luxury Hotel Villas
"The cottages were traditional in style, with very comfortable beds and super quiet efficient air con. Views you can’t beat, especially watching the stars over the sea from your terrace in the evening. You do need a car because there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant were both closed as we really wanted to stay somewhere with those facilities. However, the kitchen worked fine and we self catered some nights which was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, coming every day to clean and refresh bedding. We left some bank cards behind which the owner very kindly posted securely back to us. We would definitely recommend Eirinis, particularly for couples. Thank you for having us and we hope to see you again soon!"
Mistral-Patmos
"The owner and the manager of our hotel, George, was so kind and generous, he picked us up at the ferry station, showed us around and also left us back to the ferry station for our return trip. The hotel is very near the town center, but at the same time it is so quite and peaceful. You feel you are in and out of everything very quickly and simultaneously. Our room had a superb sea view, it was very well and nicely decorated and the interior design was so cosy. The room has more than everything you will need in a hotel room, including a kitchenette, mini fridge and a nespresso coffee machine."
