Room was great and the work out room was very good. The breakfast was the only disappointment. It was not worth stopping for.

Paper thin walls, mold everywhere, tub took forever to drain after a shower (not even a bath). Looks like the hotel is being upgraded but I don’t think that will fix the issue of walls being paper thin. Likely won’t be staying here again when I travel for work. I am actively hearing the full conversation of the people in the room next to me and they’re speaking at a normal volume.

The lobby is newly renovated. The staff are wonderful. That's where it ends. I understand the hotel is currently being renovated but they definitely missed their mark when I stayed 8/19-8/22. I reserved 9 rooms for my business colleagues. I chose this hotel because of its location and price. I guess you get what you pay for and I definitely had the worst room of all 9 (Room 213). If I was traveling alone, I would have gotten off the disgusting elevator with a cracked floor and dirty doors and left the hotel immediately. I have now checked this hotel off my list. My pictures will tell the story.

Booked a room for one night to save me from driving from Philly to Livingston NJ this week for an event. The room at the Fairfield Inn looked like they stopped working on it early that day so it could be rented. The overhead light had a gap and caulk was hanging from the fixture. The light over the sink had only one light installed. Took a shower and could not shut the value all the way - old and rusted so water dripped ALL night. The air conditioning unit knocked all night. When I mentioned all of this to the morning desk person, she said it was too much to write down. She also said," We don't have enough staff so that's why there it's like that". WHAT?!?!?! I also informed maintenance said - the room is good enough. NO, it was not. I asked for a manager and was told she wasn't in. I called in the afternoon to speak to the manager and once the desk person realized it was me - the answer went from "hold on let me get her"to "I'm sorry she is in a meeting." They have all my information and I have not heard from the property. WORST Stay ever. I was trying to give Marriott a chance since most of my upcoming conferences are Marriott properties.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is not up to the Marriott standard. The room was clean but there was a bug on the wall and mildew in the bathroom. The toilet did not flush properly. The refrigerator in the lobby was very noisy. The lobby and breakfast area was very warm. It felt like the AC was not on or kept at high temperature. The elevators are very old and the control panels were coming off. The button did not lit so it was hard to know if the button was pushed.

I would not recommend staying at this Fairfield Inn in Parsippany, NJ. While the room and location were acceptable and the breakfast was average, the overall experience was very disappointing. The hotel itself is older and in poor shape, and much of it is under construction. Housekeeping was inconsistent—I confirmed at check-in that I wanted daily service, yet my room was skipped two days in a row. When I raised the issue, the front desk informed me that housekeeping must be requested every day in advance, something that was never explained upon arrival. As a result, I went without fresh towels or coffee unless I went to the desk to ask. On top of that, the only in-room coffee pods available were decaf, which seems like a basic oversight. Other frustrations included only one slow elevator, which often caused delays. I'm a Marriott Platinum Elite member, but there was no recognition of my Rewards membership level. These issues combined made for a poor experience. I visit this area often for work, but will be avoiding this hotel in the future.
