"We had a wonderful stay at Beso del Viento. Rooms were spacious, clean and with a touch o France. Breakfast was delicious and so was th wine! The beautiful, quiet beach is just a step away and the garden is worth a stroll (with many lizardlike animals ). Definitely worth a visit!"

"Booked with resort in May 2023. Decided we needed something different for our group and told them I needed to cancel. I asked for my refund and was told that they would keep my money and I could come at another time. I sent them photos of their cancellation policy and stated I wanted my money back. I email and get no response. I put 2000$ down and that’s a lot of money for me. I didn’t want to go through social media but that what I did hoping to get their attention. Not a way to run any business"

"Don’t even think about staying here It started bad with the digital key system to our room when we arrive late at night that didn’t work The grounds are rundown. The Wi-Fi is worthless Breakfast was so bad we skipped it the second morning. They served something that looked like orange juice, but I doubt it had any nutritional value. The milk served with coffee is not regular milk. My partner felt like a coffee late in the afternoon as is a Costa Rica tradition and she was charged six dollars. This place is no Starbucks. To top it off on Saturday night, we went into Hako. He came back around midnight to find the gate closed locked. There is a digital entry device. It was nonfunctional. We were not told the gates locked at 9 PM. No one answered the phone. No one answered or messages. I tried to look for another hotel in the area and they were all booked so I pulled the car back in front of the gate and slept in the car for three hours until someone noticed, I was heavy on the horn trying to get attention. I’ve stated other hotels in the area and can recommend almost all of them for a return visit, but this place, forget it OK now I’m not a dog hater, but when I sat down for a cup of coffee on the second morning, it seemed like every guest had a dog. I suppose you could shave this Hotel permit itself as pet friendly OK that’s cool, but when one starts barking and they all start barking. I didn’t dare finish my coffee."

"The hotel is perfectly located directly at the beach. We enjoyed very much the air conditioning in the room, as outside was very, very hot and humid. The receptionists were very helpful - the young man let us use his personal charger and the woman let us check in a bit earlier than the regular time. Breakfast staff was very friendly, too. The rooms were quite big and very clean, but the bed was not comfortable. I would recommend the hotel further. Thank you!"
