Amazing
LLukeChen1116The location is super convenient! It's only about 100 meters from Makishi Monorail Station, so it's really easy to find. You can easily walk to Kokusai Street for shopping. It offers great value for money, and the staff are very friendly. A major bonus is their complimentary drink bar on the 2nd floor, available from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including local Okinawan beer (Oimo beer), which I thoroughly enjoyed for three days. They also offer free ramen from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Even though they're small bowls, they taste pretty good, and there's usually a long line for them – perfect as a late-night snack. Overall, this hotel in Naha is excellent from its location to its food and beverage offerings. Highly recommended for families with children.

AAnonymous User1. The location is indeed very convenient, and it's one of the few hotels in Okinawa with a somewhat stylish decor. But besides that, it's absolutely useless; purely paid for deceiving photos. 2. The hygiene is really poor; there's dust everywhere, and the bed sheets are yellowed... 3. What I'm most dissatisfied with is the soundproofing: the mini-fridge in the room is incredibly noisy, and the corner room I booked was assigned to the lowest floor, which was terribly loud with constant thumping and banging sounds every day. Even with earplugs, it was still very noisy! 4. No drinking water was provided; who wants to go to the hallway to get water? Do they think this is a university dorm? When returning to the hotel at night, the staff standing at the entrance completely ignored guests coming in, hah...

PPinnaonaoThe location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Kokusai-dori Street, and the Makishi Market is also very close, offering plenty of convenient dining options. Breakfast had a great variety, and the Chinese-style options were very satisfying. Facilities: The only downside was that the city hotel pool was too small; it felt cramped. Service: Excellent! Warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home. Cleanliness: We pushed the two small beds together and found absolutely no blind spots for dirt; everything was very clean.

蹒跚小旅人 | Little Voyage Waddle WalkerMercure Naha: More Than Just a Hotel, It's the Perfect Base for Family Explorations of Okinawa For families traveling with toddlers and elderly relatives who need comfort, a hotel with an excellent location and full functionality is the cornerstone of the entire trip. This time in Naha, we found it – the Mercure Okinawa Naha. It's far more than just a place to sleep; it was our most capable and reassuring partner for exploring southern Okinawa. Key Highlight: Convenience Elevated to the Extreme * Seamless Transportation Hub: The hotel's biggest asset is its seamless connection to the Monorail's 'Tsubogawa Station' exit. Whether you're pushing a stroller, dragging large suitcases from the airport (just 4 stops away), or returning tired from Kokusai Dori, you can 'slide' from the station into the hotel lobby in less than a minute. This level of convenience is priceless for families with young children. * One-Stop Living Hub: Just 10 meters downstairs is a FamilyMart convenience store, with a 7-Eleven and a large post office next door. Grabbing breakfast, stocking up on snacks, or mailing postcards – all daily errands are just a few steps away. The hotel even has a self-service car rental terminal on the first floor, allowing you to start your self-drive adventure directly from the hotel lobby without any waiting. In-Depth Experience: The Details That Delighted Us * Breakfast with a Local Flair: The breakfast buffet is an excellent way to start a day in Okinawa. Beyond the standard Western options, what truly surprised us was the variety of local Okinawan dishes, such as Jimami Tofu (peanut tofu), sea grapes, and stir-fried bitter gourd with egg, allowing even children to easily experience local flavors. Some guests even humorously mentioned that the 'morning awamori' (local rice wine) offered at breakfast became their special morning ritual. * Thoughtful Family and Elder-Friendly Design: The hotel provides cribs, and the front desk can assist with arranging taxis and more. For elderly guests, the entire journey from the station to the room is barrier-free, avoiding unnecessary walking fatigue. The overall hotel atmosphere is quiet, and most rooms are well-insulated (it's recommended to avoid lower floors on the post office side) ensuring a good night's rest. Reflections of a Toddler Traveler During this trip, we saw our child's joyful sprint from the monorail platform to the hotel lobby every day, like returning home; and we saw the relieved expressions of our elderly relatives who didn't have to rush through transfers. At Mercure, travel became exceptionally 'smooth.' It acted as a powerful home base for family travel, alleviating all anxieties about transportation, fatigue, and uncertainty. This allowed us to wholeheartedly immerse ourselves in exploring the red tiles of Shurijo Castle, experiencing the bustle of Kokusai Dori, and savoring the sweet treats from street-corner ice cream shops without any worries. This trip reaffirmed that the best family-friendly hotel isn't about having the most lavish facilities, but rather about efficiently supporting your explorations and gently cushioning your fatigue. Mercure Naha is precisely such a smart choice. It convinced us that traveling with young children and elderly relatives can indeed be unhurried, elegant, and effortless.

LlolohollyThe room was tiny, definitely more suitable for one person, but that's typical for Japan compared to back home. Despite its size, it was fully equipped and functional, plus super clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was decent, and the restaurant itself was huge, available for free use day and night. Given the price, it's incredible value for money, haha!

JjaybbHad a packed itinerary on this day so only spent the night and checked out early morning for our flight. As compared to the other hotel rooms in Okinawa, this was the smallest we had for 3 pax - it was very squeezy. The room was clean with a comfy bed and pillows. Even the lighting was dimmable. Charging points available against each bed. TV came with Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video apps for your own login. And quite near to the monorail station - walk for about less than 10mins. Friendly polite staff. They kept our luggage as the check in was strictly at 3pm, while we went shopping at Kokusai. There's a Donki nearby too and 7-Eleven, Family Mart as well.

MM40722****Pros: 1. Spacious! Having stayed in many Japanese hotels, this one's room was big enough to open two 28-inch suitcases, with two chairs to sit on! All for less than 400, and with the favorable exchange rate, it actually cost less than when I booked. 2. Beautiful! The hotel is very new, and the rooftop terrace offers a panoramic view of Naha (the terrace closes at 10 PM). Watching the Yui Rail train slowly pull into the station was incredibly relaxing! Great scenery! 3. Excellent service! Although the hotel doesn't provide hot water (there's a kettle, but we were wary of its cleanliness), when we asked at the front desk, they specially got us a cup from the coffee bar. 4. Well-equipped! There are six washing machines, an ice maker, and vending machines, which is very convenient. Check-out can be done directly via the TV, no need to go to the front desk, which is also great. 5. Very close to Ishigaki Beef restaurants, less than a five-minute walk, and many other BBQ places nearby. Cons: 1. There was indeed noise. Since the window faced the street, even with it closed, we could occasionally hear motorcycles roaring by at night. Luckily, we're good sleepers, but if you're sensitive to noise, you should be aware. 2. The location is just okay. While it was close to the breakfast spots and BBQ restaurants we wanted to try, it was a bit of a walk to the train station and Kokusai-dori. We had our luggage sent directly from the airport to the hotel and took a taxi to the airport when we left (around 70+ for the fare), so we didn't experience the struggle, but if you're lugging suitcases, it might be tiring? Kokusai-dori was fine on the way there, but after shopping, the walk back to the hotel felt quite tiring. 3. I'm not sure if this is typical for Okinawa, but the skincare products provided at the front desk felt very watery, and the packaging got wet easily, making it hard to squeeze out much without making a mess. I wasn't a fan of that. Overall, for me personally, the price, location, and environment were all great. I would choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

AAnonymous UserLocation: Excellent! Just 400 meters from the Naha Kūkō Station west exit. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and the amazing SAN-A mall is next door. Okinawa DFS is also directly behind the hotel. Facilities: On the first floor, there's a free coffee machine and free manga for rent. Downside: There's no smoking area either at the hotel entrance or inside the hotel itself. The designated smoking area is located in the hotel's parking lot.

뚝자Clean~ I like the clean interior ~ It's clean The station seems to be a 10-minute walk away. In that case, the Kokusai Dori is a 15-20 minute walk away, but it felt far The staff was friendly and I didn't use the kitchen There's no washing machine Naminoue Beach and a temple are close by Family Mart is 1 minute and 3 minutes away. Tsushi Mart is small, but they have homemade rice and lunch boxes, and it's Okinawa-like. Aeon Value Mart is also about 10 minutes away There are many delicious restaurants, such as steak restaurants, nearby.

GGuest UserGood point. • Facing Kokusai-dori, access to tourist spots was good. Convenient to go anywhere and perfect as a base for sightseeing. • Good cost performance and comfortable while suppressing accommodation costs. I'm worried. • It was good that there was a smell of water red in the shower room and the cleaning was a little more thorough. • I felt noisy at night because it was along Kokusai-dori. I think you can spend more comfortably if you have measures such as improving the soundproofing of the curtains.
