Naha Hotels with balcony

"The room was clean and spacious enough to fit our checked luggage, even for a family of three, it didn't feel cramped. The hotel breakfast area is small, but thankfully the variety is quite good, and you can definitely get a full meal. They also offer complimentary drinks in the afternoon. On our first day, a Chinese-speaking front desk staff member checked us in and explained everything thoroughly, even finding a three-prong adapter for me. Communication was seamless and very efficient. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Naha bus station, making transportation easy, and there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Overall, it offers good value for money."

"The hotel itself is okay, and the rooms are decent, but the annex building is inconvenient and feels almost desolate. You’re told to walk two streets away to a separate building with only a tiny map — it feels strange. The annex is rarely staffed, offers minimal amenities (towels only, house cleaning every four days), and anything else, like slippers or cotton swabs, comes from a paid vending machine. The bigger problem is the location: the annex is right next to bars, clubs, restaurants, and even barbecue spots, so it’s quite noisy at night. Even as a heavy sleeper, I was frequently woken, making it hard to get proper rest. Budget travelers may see this as cheap, but if you’re relying on buses and trying to save money, you’ll already be tired from traveling. It’s better to stay a little further from the nightlife to actually get a proper night’s sleep. Staff are polite, but policies, location, and lack of included amenities make it hard to recommend unless you just need a very basic place to sleep."

"The hotel’s ground floor feels like an art gallery — modern, minimalist, and thoughtfully designed. The concierge, café, and laundry area are all located on the second floor, where you’ll also find a display space showcasing artwork and merchandise by local artists, adding a charming creative touch. Our room was clean and cozy, though slightly compact. We had to rearrange some furniture to open our luggage comfortably. The balcony was a highlight, offering a refreshing sea view and enhancing the overall relaxing, breezy atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was enjoyable with a decent variety of options, and the quality was satisfying. While the immediate surroundings are relatively quiet, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, AEON mart, and the popular Kokusai Dori Street, making it a good base for exploring the area."

"This was a fantastic experience; I'm not sure why the app doesn't prioritize recommending it. The location is right next to a tram stop, on Kokusai-dori Street. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and diligent. The single cabin rooms have locking doors, which is a big plus. However, there's only a small table inside, so if you need to use a laptop or write, you'll have to go to the common areas outside the room. Each floor has a row of communal tables directly overlooking Kokusai-dori Street; it can be a bit noisy but offers a great view. Highly recommended."

"I only took family photos, so I don't have any photos of the hotel itself, but I'll try to break down the pros and cons in as much detail as possible. The pros are: It's close to the airport and on the outskirts, so it's quiet. Personally, what I liked most was that the guests were mostly Japanese families, without any crowds. They were polite and respectful, and the atmosphere was great, allowing for a comfortable stay. The hot springs and sauna are open from morning until late. There's a souvenir shop and convenience store on the first floor, which was convenient. Breakfast offers a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, but the menu is the same for all three days, so keep that in mind if you're planning on having breakfast back-to-back. The cons are: Because it's an older hotel, the facilities are old and don't feel very clean. The carpets in the guest rooms, especially the ones connected to the hallways, are obviously dirty. You have to wear shoes or slippers anywhere except on the bed, which was inconvenient. There seem to be rooms without carpet, but you'll have to look into it based on your personal preferences. The most inconvenient part of the experience was the walkway. The walkway between the main building and the annex is long, and the elevators have different floor numbers, which can be confusing (in the main building, you press the 2nd floor button, and in the annex, you press the 3rd floor button). The annex also has elevators at both ends, one for floors 1-6, the other for floors 2-12. For example, if you're in a room on the 11th floor and want to get to the first floor, you have to take the elevator on the left to the 3rd floor, then the elevator at the opposite end, and then go back to the first floor. LOL The microwave is only on the first floor, and I had a really hard time using it once. I was a bit confused as to why they made it this way. And parking is 1,800 yen per day. There's also a private parking lot right in front for 700 yen. You can just park in the annex if there's an empty space... Instead, if you park in the paid mechanical parking lot, they'll check your ticket when you enter and exit, and it takes a long time. Absolutely don't do it."

"Could check in really quickly without waiting in line so that was great. There were not that many washing machines, and it was difficult to use them because other guests would not come and collect their own laundry even after the machine had finished running. There was a sign saying that the neglected laundry would be collected after 10 minutes, but there weren't any staff keeping an eye on this anyway, so the warning sign wasn't helpful. Staff also seemed reluctant to provide more tea in the room even though they only have two tea bags every other day for a week-long stay. Even when asked, they would only initially offer one tea bag without asking if more were needed."

"The hotel was not hard to find and the room was not too bad for two people but i must say the shower room was too small and the sink. Also if u plan to stay long I recommend to go to a Dollar Store or 100yen shop because they dont have other amenities like spoon, fork, plates, scissors etc. they have coffee maker but the coffee you have to buy it at the lounge it cost 200¥. What i liked is that they have 2 washing machines and dryers and they come up with Detergent soap and Fabric conditioner. Also if you guys are renting a car the hotel provides a parking but for 1,500¥ per night. We did not avail it though we used the Times parking which was 550¥ for 12hrs and me and my partner did a lot of traveling so it was worth the price of the parking. The rooftop we did not try because it was closed when we went. There were staffs were so nice tho. Thank you!"

"The location was good. Walkable to Makishi Public Market, Naminoue Shinto Shrine, Prefectual Office and some other sightseeing places. Very easily find eatery or restaurants around hotel. Next to the hotel is a very nice bbq restaurant Yakiniku King Naha Kumoji."

"This hotel is not new but is well maintained in my opinion, we had a comfortable 5 nights stay. Located at a quiet corner in Naha city, Naha port with unblock port view. Pleasant experience with the reception though require a little guessing work when the carpark uncle tries to redirect us to the alternate open air hotel carpark, we managed with the given map, a short walk away. Basement parking at the hotel building has very limited lots, often full after sunset. Ice making machine available on our level lobby and notice microwave too at other floor. A short drive from the airport. A bakery, 7-11 and souvenir shop on ground level, complimentary hot spring bath, coin laundry... There is also a supermarket less than 5 minute walk away."

"Checking into this hotel was a bit of a hassle because it's self-service, requiring photos of every guest's passport. The room doors have manual locks, which felt more secure, and if you're worried about losing your key, you can store it in the key cabinet found in every room! The environment and facilities truly deserve 100 points. The only downside is that it's in a residential area, which means it's very quiet for sleeping but there aren't many shops nearby, though there is a 7-Eleven. Inside the hotel, the hot water is excellent and can be adjusted manually. The apartment-style amenities are comprehensive, making it very convenient if you want to prepare your own meals or items. The establishment even thoughtfully provides all disposable convenience items (toothbrushes, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge brush, cutting board), as well as pots and pans for cooking. There are also Lime electric scooters right next to the hotel (though parking them isn't very convenient). I truly appreciate the hotel's attentiveness!"
