"Our stay at the Inn was lovely, we stayed 3 nights in Furong Town, the hotel is in a great spot and it is easy to walk everywhere in the town from the hotel. There are lots of cute shops and restaurants nearby. The view of the river from our room was also amazing. The host was so kind and helpful with any advice for getting around the area. The train station pickup was also really convenient. The breakfast at the inn was very delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here for a few nights and exploring the local area. "

"Lovely new hotel that opened in 2023. Managed by Lily and her husband. Lily was super helpful with how to navigate the place, what to see, where to eat. However, if you don’t speak Chinese, it may be a little difficult. But nothing a translator app can’t help you with. Also, they provided a free transfer to the railway station when we departed. On arrival at the railway station, we just took a cab to the ancient town for CNY20. The very helpful taxi driver kindly called the hotel for us and someone from the hotel came to pick us up at the entry gate to the ancient town where the taxi driver dropped us. The hotel is still new, clean and in a great location with a fantastic river view and view of the Tuwang Bridge. I would stay there again. And Lily is hospitable, patient and kind."

"I was in a shared room with 4 beds, the room was very big, had a nice bathroom and was very clean. The owner was very hospitable and welcoming, he sat down with me to drink tea or a beer while I was there. It is just 5 minute walk to the ancient town and is on the main road with lots of cheap restaurants and other amenities around it. Great place, great owner, 10/10 would stay again!"

"Great stay, perfect location, and a very kind host
The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the entrance to the scenic spot, which is super convenient. You can get there either from the main road by going up a small staircase or from the lower, more touristy street.
The room is great: very comfortable and quiet — I slept really well. During the time I stayed, the nights were nice and cool for sleeping, and the daytime temperature was just perfect.
The owner was also extremely kind and even drove me to the train station himself. It only took us 12 minutes, and I really appreciated that.

"Situated next to the iconic bridge and a convenient spot in the village, the rooms are all facing the iconic view of the river, providing a memorable and beautiful stay. I totally enjoy some live singing from the bridge. Like many others, The rooms itself are average and and needs to bring your luggage up staircase. The bedsheets are spotless and towels big and clean comfortable to use. When we arrived there isn’t a counter to check in, but the people from the shop helped me to call the hotel lady who came over from somewhere down the street. She is very polite and helpful and that helped us settled in comfortably"

"A very cost-effective inn. You can see the scenery upstream of the waterfall, which is beautiful, and the sound of the water in the waterfall will not affect your sleep. Room prices of the same standard are cheaper than other inns nearby. I booked a room with a balcony. The view from the balcony was very good. The price was 200 yuan, while other inns nearby cost more than 400 yuan. The boss is very enthusiastic. The hotel is not responsible for pick-up and drop-off from the high-speed rail station. The bathroom in the room is a bit narrow, but everything else is satisfactory."

If I have the opportunity to come to Furong Town again, I will definitely choose to stay here. As for the shortcomings, the only one is that the shower head is too high and leaks a little. Overall highly recommended."

YYupSss LLSWhat I like most is that the owner was really nice to pick us up from the train station and then gave us a ride there again when we left.
The hotel is actually near the ancient town, but there was a slope to walk up the terrain.
The hotel was comfortable. You may also do your laundry there though the washing machine is located right next to the toilet which is a bit unpleasant. But no complaints since it is free.
Breakfast was simple. Though not a buffet, it was decently delicious.

The communication with the team was really good since before arriving. They helped us booking the tickets for the Town and organising the transport back to the station.

RradioguyintownWe cannot understate how wonderful of an experience we had at this hotel.
To begin with, the hotel staff generously granted us an upgrade to a full suite. The room that we were given was practically spotless and well laid-out; on top of this, the room was stationed right next to the street - we had only to walk out the door to get into the action, yet we experienced no noise issues. Throughout our stay, we did not experience any major inconveniences whatsoever - the room was comfortable, cozy, and a relief to be in after a long day of scaling hundreds, if not thousands of steps.
Overall, while the hotel room was comfortable and pleasant, it was the incredible restaurant that accompanied it that elevated the stay. The quaint garden and decked out restaurant facilities providing a wonderful and stunning view of the main attraction in the town (the waterfall) made it truly worth it. The Hunan-style cuisine and noodle breakfasts they served up were incredibly tasty - and yet, just a step out of a door.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly to any tourist visiting Furongzhen.

NNicholas LooI had very good experience to stay in this hotel. 2 days before arrival to Furong town, our butler was called us for confirmation of high-speed rail station pick-up service with complimentary using 7 seaters Mercedes. The hotel come with amazing contemporary design and feel very warm. We are 2 adults and 2 kids were comfortable stay in the one double bed room. Since our room come with 2 breakfasts, the hotel also adds another 2 more breakfast vouchers for my children's (15 & 13 years old) without any charges.
For the breakfast meal, we can rate it above average since they provided variety and quality food. Last, they also given us with small souvenir gift when we check out and fetch us to the station.
About the location, it just 2 minutes walk to the ticket entrance and full of restaurants, grocery shop, farmasi, cafe along the walking journey.
Overall, we are quite statified for our stay. Will stay again if visit Furong town.

JJeremiahExcellent location within the FURONG old town and next to open air theater. You get box office seats from your room or at their balcony to watch the daily after and night shows. Rooms are clean and you have a choice of disposable towels or normal ones. Do travel light as there are no lifts for your large and heavy luggages. They also provide a one time FREE High Speed rail station transfer (either Dep or Arr) and additional arrangement is at RMB 20. You can arrange for didi but have to walk out of the town enclose area.
Heard from manager Ms Wang, that they just renovated the place in 2024 so the rooms are relatively nice has a large projector screen. Next to the hotel is a massage shop and a small convenient store. If you want your coffee or ice tea fix - Luckin is just a few nearby - outside the enclosed tourist fee area. Business are relatively cheaper outside the enclosed area bec of the tourist fee rmb 90( if you purchase from them one day in advance). Pls wechat them for arrangements via trip.com customer service chat function.
Overall, an awesome overnight experience for that less than usd80 price point.

10/10 Location : This hotel is right next to the scenic viewing platform to see whole waterfall with the old village. You can't see the waterfall from the room (nice for us since we don't want disturbing sound when we sleep) but replace with very beautiful and calm river view. Each room place separately and have different scenery. It's hard to tell which room you would get when you book the room via Trip.com but the 8805 and 8806 we stayed both have wonderful scenery.
10/10 Service : Hotel staff was very helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to the rooms. They don't have enough staffs in my opinion.
8/10 Facilities : Breakfast is easy and delicious. Room and bathroom facilities are just enough. About drop off, they will drop you to the back entrance of Fenghuang Village area. You will need to walk from the road, pass the alley - the ticket gate, then arrive at the hotel entrance not too far. This hotel may not convenient for elderly.
6/10 Cleanliness : Actually it not all that bad. The room 8805 and 8806 were quite clean minus only the air conditioner when we switch to heater, it smell (may be visitors rarely use heater). But the room 8803 is quite dirty (I guess it's because 8803 is not the frequently occupied room but they give us this room because they want us to stay close to each other). And It's such a shame that they have such a beautiful place but didn't take care of the weeds to allow for the full view from the room.

You can walk around 15 minutes to reach the site for viewing the waterfall. The hotel provides free pick-up service to and from the train station.
If you prefer a peaceful surroundings while staying in Furong town you can choose to stay here because it's quite away from the Ancient town.

There are also night markets, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, fruit stores, shopping malls, specialty stores, clothing stores, barber shops, etc. nearby, which are very convenient for shopping and dining. 2. Brand new facilities and equipment: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with advanced bathrooms and sufficient hot water. The quilts are very warm and comfortable to sleep. 3. Clean and comfortable: Clean the room and change toiletries in time every day. 4. Intimate and thoughtful service: The proprietress is an English teacher. She kindly and patiently took me to visit the hotel room, made a free travel guide for me and bought discounted tickets for the scenic area, invited me to lunch and dinner, provided free fruit and free breakfast, cared about my travel on the way every day, and greeted, communicated and gave me directions in English from time to time. Thanks to the enthusiastic help and thoughtful service of the boss lady, my trip to Zhangjiajie was very happy and smooth. If you are a foreigner traveling to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park like me, I recommend staying at Xifu Bay Resort Hotel.
