We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The lady housekeeper was very friendly, and she offered to meet us at the drop-off point and brought us to the hotel within the Furong ancient town. We were grateful for the upgrade to the hotel room at the third floor where we had the view of the waterfall and river straight from the balcony in our room! Although our hotel room had no breakfast provided, we were offered bread, instant coffee and packet milk for breakfast the next day.

What should I say? Best accommodation so far from my current trip. Let's start from the location, right opposite the ticketing area, super convenient, the hotel itself has a very traditional look, small details with the ancient city vibe but modern facility, complete amenities, so very comfortable. Included local breakfast that so yums, and the people in charge, super accommodating! best ever compared to big cities. I got into an accident on the tour and they were really helpful! I am pretty sure that I will come back again. Super recommended!!

Very Nice inn with friendly owners. It is very well situated in the Ancient City. The owners can get you a 3 day pass for the city for a reduced price. We booked the twin room in december and luckily there is a heater to keep you warm. The view is incredibly beautiful and there is a cute little balcony. We would stay here again.

The lady boss provided clear video clips and photos of where she will be waiting and the direction for me to meet her at the pick up point outside the train station (prior to my arrival).
The one-way pick up service is complementary as per hotel booking. A value added service provided by the hotel and lady boss. Other hotels did not provide such service.
The hotel is at the center of the Furong Town main street, which is approx 300-400m from the entrance. It's very convenient to walk to any hotspots in Furong Town.
The room is clean and comfortable. It's a modern design room type compared to my friend's other hotel room, which is a local antique design.
The view from the room balcony was great especially at night, although it's not a waterfall view.
My overall stay was great and satisfied.

It's a pity that they were doing maintenance to the river in front of my room. Otherwise it will be absolutely perfect. This hotel is rustic with traditional ancient local decorations. It really gives you the mood and vibe being in an ancient town.
The service is amazing. Friendly and pleasant staffs which will give you tips on what to do around here. They also provide pick up from the train station which we really appreciate.
This hotel is located near the famous bridge. It is quieter this side. The square with performances is just 5 mins walk. The waterfall is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. No problem getting food nearby. There's a mini mart few steps away as well.
The room aircond is good, WiFi and shower could be better. Bed is comfy and it has a huge TV.
Overall I think this hotel is a good choice for it's location and affordable pricing.

I am from Singapore and visit 芙蓉镇 for travel together with my friend in Guangzhou. This hotel provides the best services I have ever countered after staying in hundreds of hotels all over the world. The courtesy is shown by every staff we encountered- the front desk, driver cum waiter etc. To quote examples :

Great stay in a brilliant location, we booked the room with a balcony and it was great, very clean and had everything you need. Staff were very friendly and offered us a free drink upon arrival, tasty fruit on the second night, and took us to the train station. Couldn’t fault this hotel and would definitely recommend.

SSS-SingaporeThis has goto be the best room I had in my 16 days trip. Reached the Furong Station earlier than expected. Message the boss of the homestay and he reached the station with his cool jeep in 10 mins. Super good service! Reached the homestay in about 15mins, had a good chat with the friendly boss who grown up there. As the homestay is located in the scenic area, you will need to pay the entry ticket (108rmb) at the gate. The ticket is valid for 3 days. Do remember to bring along the ticket when you are out walking or decided to leave the scenic area. The Guard at the gate will scan your ticket when you re-enter to the scenic area. It's a very nice chill ancient town. The room I stayed was 502. It's super super nice, big, clean and even have a roof window and attached balcony. Can tell the couple put in alot of effort to maintain the homestay. I totally enjoy my night there. The boss was very kind to send me to the Rail station as well. They usually only provide one way service during peak season. Will highly recommend anyone who is going to Furong to stay here.

GGuest UserService was excellent here, each one of the workers was so friendly and gave us free fruit and snacks the day we arrived. They let us choose which room we wanted to stay in, and also organised pick ups to and from the hotel, which we really appreciate. View was lovely too and we were able to see the fireworks. Highly recommend staying here :)

PprosciuttoWe visited during quiet season (Oct 7 just as golden week ended) and the hotel was practically empty. The owner called us and helped instruct the taxi how to get to the hotel. (It should be 20 yuan to get there via taxi from the train station). The entrance has not been finished building so you have to carefully navigate down some rubble. There also isn’t an elevator in the hotel. As the hotel was empty, the owner showed us 4 different rooms and was happy to let us have any of them at no extra charge. We chose one on the second floor so we wouldn’t have to climb the stairs with our luggage. The hotel is a 4 minute walk to one of the main entrances of Furong Ancient Town. With it not being directly in the town, it’s probably more quiet that other hotels in the area. The view is quite nice, on the left you can see Furong Ancient Town, on the right there is a lot of construction happening so not much to see. The construction was not loud during our stay. However there was a chicken next door that began making noise at 5am and didn’t stop for hours, it was excruciating. I won’t blame the hotel for this though! The bathroom amenities were great, the room was very spacious and comfortable and the owner was very kind.

Staff at the homestay are informative and helpful. Helped arranged pick up and drop off from train station at reasonable price.
Room is clean but a bit disappointing with the towels provided. Looks old, overly used and thin.
The room soundproof was not great. Our room was same level as the lobby and street and just next to the stairways that leads to other rooms from the lobby. Can hear other staffs and guests walking up and down early in the morning.
Read reviews of many old homestays in furong with view of waterfall that the room will smell of sewage but at Tusi Xuanfu it was good. No sewerage smell. Only complain is that can smell other people smoking outside from our room and the water pressure in the shower was very weak.
The free chinese tea set while enjoying the view of the waterfall was bonus. The breakfast was simple, just noodle soup, mantou and instant coffee. Noodle soup tastes nice especially for a tourist like me.
Would conclude that the price of the room I stayed is expensive compared to the quality of the room. The view from the courtyard is GREAT, just not from the room because the room only has view of the platform, and river but not the waterfall.

It is very convenient for travel. There is a pedestrian street at the entrance of the hotel, and there are special restaurants around. There are also night markets, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, fruit stores, shopping malls, specialty stores, clothing stores, barber shops, etc. nearby, which are very convenient for shopping and dining. 2. Brand new facilities and equipment: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with advanced bathrooms and sufficient hot water. The quilts are very warm and comfortable to sleep. 3. Clean and comfortable: Clean the room and change toiletries in time every day. 4. Intimate and thoughtful service: The proprietress is an English teacher. She kindly and patiently took me to visit the hotel room, made a free travel guide for me and bought discounted tickets for the scenic area, invited me to lunch and dinner, provided free fruit and free breakfast, cared about my travel on the way every day, and greeted, communicated and gave me directions in English from time to time. Thanks to the enthusiastic help and thoughtful service of the boss lady, my trip to Zhangjiajie was very happy and smooth. If you are a foreigner traveling to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park like me, I recommend staying at Xifu Bay Resort Hotel.

The service of the little brother and the young lady was very good. They helped to carry the luggage to the room. Although there is a small distance to walk to the room, it is not a problem for young people. The hotel is in a scenic area, relatively quiet, and includes pick-up and drop-off from the high-speed rail station, which is also very convenient. For friends who like freshness and tranquility, this is a good choice.

TTomas SaraleguiThe hotel is very nice, on top of a restaurant. The rooms were very beautiful. We booked a “panorama room” thinking it might have a view because of the name. Since it didn’t, we asked for an upgrade to a room with waterfalls view. Fortunaly, there was availability, so the team helped us change rooms. The view from the balcony was really amazing. It’s worth adding that the hotel is inside the scenic area, where taxis can’t arrive. Ours left us in the closest gate (Liang Bridge), purchased the tickets, and we walked a short distance (300mts).

Fantastic view from the room, however because theres a restaurant attached to the hotel can be quite noisy. Need to bring earbuds to sleep. However, for how expensive it is, found it a bit lacking in amenities, no fridge, there is a water filter system for drinking water in the room but it doesnt work. No coffee provided in room, only a paper cup with no spoon.
