GGuest UserA very satisfying stay! The guesthouse was tranquil, the room was clean and tidy, and decorated warmly and elegantly. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The host was warm and attentive, communicating about check-in details in advance and thoughtfully preparing a local breakfast. The location was also very convenient, within walking distance of the scenic area. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, such as earplugs and eye masks provided by the bedside. Excellent value for money, highly recommended, and I will definitely choose this place again next time!

GGuest UserThe absolute most stunning b&b that is located right next to furong town. No need to stay right in the waterfall, this place was much cuter and cost-efficient. The hosts were so friendly and kind. They offered us tea right as we entered. The breakfast they served was also delicious. Hosts assisted us with any questions + provided pickup service from the railway station. Additionally they helped us buy tickets to furong town + train tickets for our next stop. Truly so warm and kind. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone coming to furong!

TThuy MobbsThe hotel far exceeded our expectation with making everything at ease from the moment we arrived at the train station in FurongZhen ( free pick up), then welcomed us with a bowl of fresh fruits, kindly upgraded a better room with amazing mountain view! The staff are extremely helpful, using Chinese-English translation efficiently to show us what places to see around the town. Breakfast is basic ( only Chinese style): boiled eggs, fried eggs, dumplings, baobuns and coffee(no tea) and some fruits(small plums). The room is spacious with clean and comfortable beds. The hotel is only some minute walk to the waterfall and the square. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and good value for money! We would stay again if we come back this town.Thank you for insect repellant gifts!

CCJ12345678The staff were super helpful and quick to respond, which made things really easy. They arranged pick-up and drop-off from Furongzhen station for 20 yuan each way, which was convenient. We loved sitting in the courtyard with the amazing waterfall views, enjoying breakfast and plenty of local tea. The room was clean and had a nice traditional wooden feel that made it really cozy.

EElizabeth CowleyThis place was so clean and had a great location! It was around the corner from the entrance to furong ancient Town and there was also a coffee shop and supermarket near by. The owners took me to the train station for free too, I did try to add them on we chat to see if they could pick me up as i got into furong very late, but they didnt add me, luckily there were taxis outside 🙏😊 The lady is so friendly as took me straight to the ticket counter when I arrived!

GGuest UserA unique stay in a great location. The room was really lovely and right on the lake. Basic Chinese breakfast included. Comfortable bed. My only complaints are the hot water doesn’t last long, and our included ride to the train station was over 30 minutes late. We made our train with 1 minute to spare, and only because our driver went 130km/hour to get us there in time!

VVaiFurong Ancient Town isn’t accessible by car in its main attraction area, as the town is beautifully built along a river that flows into a majestic waterfall. This B&B is perfectly located, about a 5-minute stroll from the main car park, and sits right next to the riverside.
Depending on the room you book, you may be treated to river views and even a partial view of the waterfall. We were lucky to have both. However, it’s worth noting that some inner rooms don’t have any views, so it’s best to confirm when booking.
The B&B also has a convenient adjoining restaurant. You can dine indoors or head up to the rooftop open-air seating area, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the town and river, perfect for a relaxed meal with a scenic backdrop.
Rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The owner is incredibly helpful. We arranged our arrival via Trip.com message chat, and he kindly waited for us at the Furong Railway Station to pick us up.
One thing to note, depending on your preferences, is the presence of bars nearby. There’s live music and a lively atmosphere in the evening, which can be a plus if you enjoy a drink or two with some music. However, if you value peace and quiet, the sound might be noticeable until it winds down around 11 PM. As with most ancient towns these days, nightlife has become part of the experience. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or consider booking a room away from the main area.
Overall, a great stay in an unbeatable location. Highly recommended!

SSurajRA beautiful hotel in traditional Chinese style with stunning views of the waterfalls. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with easier access, perfectly suited for our big suitcases. They also arranged convenient pick-up and drop-off services, provided a detailed map of the area, and highlighted the must-see shows nearby. The free breakfast was authentically Chinese, featuring boiled eggs, steamed buns, noodles, a leaf-wrapped sweet dish, and local tea. Overall, our experience here was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay.
