EErica StrolenFamily getaway First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon. Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched. The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest. We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing. Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform. Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming. Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults. We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee. Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing. Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.

GGuest UserThe facilities are comprehensive, a bit old, but the overall feel is good. There are many hot springs, a pet park with lots of animals, and a large swimming pool. There's also an infinity pool on the beach with sea views. The hygiene is generally good, and the toiletries are L'Occitane. The service was good, except for the photographer assigned by the hotel for a complimentary photoshoot, who had a bad attitude. All the other staff provided service with a smile! There were also bonfires and fireworks at night. Overall, we had a great time and could easily spend a whole day at the hotel without needing to go out! 👍🏻 The private beach was the best part – the sand was very fine, it wasn't crowded, and we could play to our heart's content!

They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

WWSLRIt was a very nice hidden hotel, nicely renovated. The pictures advertised on the rooms seem larger than it actually are but are still simple and comfortable. Booked for 3 nights stay, staff are very friendly. However, not the hotels fault, I had to leave on the 2nd night, I returned back to my room at 5pm and stayed in my room to relax, but guest next door left their energy on slot card on (their air-conditioning, lights, and shower fan would be on throughout while they are out) I couldn't relax as their shower fan was on and it was extremely loud as their shower room was connected next to mine. It went on for hours and hours, so I requested to change rooms around 7pm. And the young male said, that he couldn't help about the noise next door and I can't change rooms until tomorrow. I got so annoyed that I cancelled the remaining two 2 nights through trip.com. they must had a notification, and instantly changed me into another room. And it was nice for them to let me see the rooms before deciding. I wouldn't stay here again, as I am a light sleeper and sensitive to noise, this hotel is not sound proof, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs even if you are far away, you will be able to hear people's conversations when they return back to the hotel really late, especially if they stay above you, and their footsteps and laughs. I stayed on the 3rd floor, facing an abandoned building, which looked really spooky. The hotel comes with breakfast, only ate once, the auntie's attitude not very friendly and just hands over with a selection of breakfast in a tray which had: congee, sweet potato, boiled egg, etc.

Being able to hear the white noise of the waves all day long was incredibly soothing and relaxing. The balcony was perfect for lounging and enjoying the sea, creating a wonderful ambiance. This hotel is ideal for enjoying sea views. The beach, however, has coarse sand and isn't great for walking. The weather during my stay was rainy and cloudy. I'd love to come back again when it's sunny!

GGuest UserThe front desk service at Dusit Thani Wenzhou Shuangyue Bay is truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff. At the front desk, 'Muzi,' whose employee ID was visible, made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. She recommended popular photo spots and arranged for someone to help with our luggage. Later, when we went to dinner with our elderly parents and children on Children's Day, the restaurant was crowded and nearly full. We couldn't find a table for seven, but thankfully, a restaurant staff member named Zeng Peijuan helped us find a table and get seated. Throughout our meal, she provided attentive care, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's dishes were diverse and flavorful, offering both authentic traditional cuisine and innovative new creations.

GGuest UserHonestly, I'm reviewing this hotel not to sound like I'm advertising for them, but what I'm about to say might inadvertently make you feel that way. I'd guess most people don't visit the same place many times, but I bet there are plenty of others like me who have been to Huizhou and the Howard Johnson Resort Danran multiple times! First off, the hotel itself is truly unique; it has everything for dining, entertainment, and fun, all conveniently located. It's perfect for kids (especially with it being Children's Day this time, there were tons of kids!) and also great for seniors looking to relax without a fast pace. And of course, it's ideal for young couples seeking romance. Even though the hotel has been famous for a long time, it feels incredibly well-maintained, with no sense of being outdated at all. Secondly, and most importantly, it's the staff. I first met the lovely Ms. Zeng two years ago when my wife and I booked a room at Danran. She's incredibly kind and thoughtful. This time, I went directly to her for recommendations, and she suggested room 2707 in Building 1 – a high-floor room directly facing the sea with an amazing view and a huge balcony tub. Knowing we were checking in late, she proactively extended our check-out until 5 PM the next day and even gave us sand toys for the beach! This thoughtful service isn't a one-off, nor did I just happen to meet one great person; almost every staff member you encounter is genuinely warm-hearted. When Peach, the housekeeping supervisor, found out we hadn't had lunch yet, she kindly arranged to give us four complimentary lunch vouchers – that made us so happy! And Ms. Huang, a room attendant, saw my two kids return from swimming and proactively brought drinks and dolls to our room. The kids were thrilled for ages! At the pool amusement park, there were so many lifeguards constantly watching. Especially on Children's Day with so many kids, they were truly busy every moment, gently yet seriously guarding countless happy little spirits! As the saying goes, 'a small sign reveals a big trend.' You can experience such thoughtful and attentive service from so many employees across all departments. At the same time, different roles emphasize different aspects, which must be related to their job responsibilities. For the hotel management to enable all their staff to perform their duties, take responsibility, and provide such warm service, is truly excellent!
