First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon.
Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched.
The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest.
We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing.
Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform.
Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming.
Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults.
We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee.
Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing.
Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.

GGuest UserService: Not entirely satisfied. Some hotel staff weren't very enthusiastic and seemed indifferent when asked questions. It didn't meet the service standards expected of a five-star hotel.
Facilities: Good. Both the indoor and outdoor pools looked nice, but they aren't heated, so you can't swim in winter. The hot spring was quite good; I recommend going in the morning when it's less crowded and the water is cleaner.
Highlights: There was a beautiful firework show every night during the Spring Festival, which was a nice touch.
Suggestions: The hotel staff's service level needs improvement. The indoor pool should be heated, otherwise, the water is too cold for swimming in winter.

Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong
The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time.
After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!!
The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻
The staff were also so polite and friendly!!
Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were ..
Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining...
Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there.
There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring!
Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings...
I really hope one day I can go again!!
But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

WWSLRIt was a very nice hidden hotel, nicely renovated. The pictures advertised on the rooms seem larger than it actually are but are still simple and comfortable. Booked for 3 nights stay, staff are very friendly. However, not the hotels fault, I had to leave on the 2nd night, I returned back to my room at 5pm and stayed in my room to relax, but guest next door left their energy on slot card on (their air-conditioning, lights, and shower fan would be on throughout while they are out) I couldn't relax as their shower fan was on and it was extremely loud as their shower room was connected next to mine. It went on for hours and hours, so I requested to change rooms around 7pm. And the young male said, that he couldn't help about the noise next door and I can't change rooms until tomorrow. I got so annoyed that I cancelled the remaining two 2 nights through trip.com. they must had a notification, and instantly changed me into another room. And it was nice for them to let me see the rooms before deciding. I wouldn't stay here again, as I am a light sleeper and sensitive to noise, this hotel is not sound proof, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs even if you are far away, you will be able to hear people's conversations when they return back to the hotel really late, especially if they stay above you, and their footsteps and laughs. I stayed on the 3rd floor, facing an abandoned building, which looked really spooky. The hotel comes with breakfast, only ate once, the auntie's attitude not very friendly and just hands over with a selection of breakfast in a tray which had: congee, sweet potato, boiled egg, etc.

GGuest UserRandomly picked this hotel for my trip and was blown away! The soundproofing is incredibly good, and they even offer local snacks for breakfast. The front desk was so helpful with car rental – a total lifesaver for families with kids! The hallways are super quiet, and we had an amazing ocean view room. The beach is right downstairs, it's just perfect! We were so touched by the hotel's warmth when it rained. The staff proactively helped with our luggage, and the room was super clean with a great wet/dry separation. A good night's sleep here truly rejuvenates you!

GGuest User1. I'm giving full marks for service thanks to the front desk staff, especially Xiao Ye, who gave us a room with the best view, and the technician who fixed our fridge. They were wonderful!
2. There were cockroaches in the room, and the bathtub was a bit dirty (which I understand is probably due to sand blown in from the beach).
3. Can a hotel that allows smoking in its public sports facilities (like the rooftop pool) really be called five-star? I was choked by smoke while swimming, and when I asked the staff, I just got an unapologetic reply that smoking was permitted.
4. I was genuinely amused and annoyed when fireworks were still being set off at 3 AM on a beach that's supposed to have a fireworks ban.
5. The incredibly long coastline and the city skyline view from the window are indeed breathtaking – no complaints there.
6. If the hotel's Thai restaurant isn't serving pre-made food, then all I can say is they must have worked really hard to make it taste even worse than pre-made food. I don't recommend dining at the hotel or right outside it; I suggest going to restaurants on certain review platforms' lists nearby instead.

WWaliehuoyangyaoThe location of Huidong Xianglan Zhishang is truly exceptional, just steps away from the beach. Open the balcony door, and the turquoise waves immediately greet your eyes. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise paint the sea with a golden hue, and in the evening, sit in the courtyard listening to the waves, with even the breeze carrying the gentle scent of sea salt.
The B&B boasts a fresh Mediterranean style, featuring white walls paired with natural wood furniture, creating a simple yet inviting ambiance. Thoughtful details abound; the sea salt scrub and citrus shower gel in the bathroom perfectly complement the coastal vibe. Staying here, it feels as though the invigorating freshness of the ocean has been brought right into your room.

AAnonymous UserFirst off, I arrived at the front desk at 3:50 PM to check in, and the staff member told me I'd have to wait another hour for the room to be cleaned. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, another staff member came over and arranged for my check-in. Secondly, the hotel's elevators aren't zoned for high and low floors. This led to extremely long wait times during peak hours. Most hotels nowadays have separate elevators for different floor ranges. Thirdly, the family room didn't come with any amenities for children, and only provided two bath towels. While I could contact the butler for more, a family room should really be pre-equipped with these items. Lastly, the in-room Wi-Fi was terrible; it often didn't work at all, and I lost connection completely when I went out to the balcony or even just within the room. The outdoor pool and park were decent though, and the view was absolutely perfect.

DDolphin_11Great location and fantastic views. It truly lives up to its billing as a 180-degree sea view suite – you can even watch the sunrise over the ocean 🌄. The master bedroom offers excellent views and is definitely worth the price. The bed was also very comfortable. On the downside, both bathrooms had no doors, which was a bit awkward. Plus, the sofa lacked cushions, making it uncomfortable to sit on. The hotel breakfast was pretty mediocre, and the restaurant had an unpleasant odor.
