From our river view room, we could enjoy the scenery right from our beds. The hotel service was outstanding. We arrived at 8 AM, and since the hotel was fully booked the night before, the front desk offered us breakfast and promised to contact us as soon as a room became available. To our delight, we received our room key and checked in by 9 AM. We're very grateful for the early check-in! The room was also very clean. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back."

"We stayed at Le Méridien Xiaojing Bay during the short holiday. The hotel is right by the beach, making it very convenient to get around; you can walk to the sea. We booked a sea view room, and the balcony directly faces the ocean, offering an excellent viewing experience. The room layout was sensible, and toiletries were well-stocked. The hotel's swimming pool area is pleasant, with separate sections for adults and children, making it ideal for families. The service was generally acceptable. Check-in efficiency was decent, though waiting times were a bit long during peak hours. The hotel has been open for a while, so some facilities show a bit of age. Room ventilation wasn't great, and the proximity to the sea meant noticeable humidity. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, including seafood, pastries, and hot dishes, but seating was quite limited during peak times. The beach downstairs wasn't overly crowded compared to other nearby attractions. "Noble Badge Hotel was intentionally the first stop in my travels to China this year. Having lived near it when I was little, this particular stay was a highly anticipated highlight of my trip. It did not disappoint and surpassed my expectations in terms of the warmth and hospitality that was shown to me by the entire staff. I stayed at one of the renovated rooms towards the upper levels, and the amenities are more than sufficient for my needs. The fact that after more than two decades, the hotel facilities are still in excellent condition really reflects the high quality construction and build of the hotel. The food was delicious - both at the breakfast buffet and at the Fortuna Chinese Restaurant on the third floor. However, what was truly outstanding was the service. Everyone who greeted me, especially the 大堂经理许亚敏先生 and 钟显梅女士, showed me the utmost respect and attention to detail, going above and beyond to take care of my needs when I was in a time crunch. They even gave me a tour of the hotel and highlighted the major upgrades to the hotel over the years. The glass elevators up to the top is essentially a free observatory with great views of the city. My stay here was beyond satisfactory and I will highly recommend it to others."

It was almost 8 PM when we got back from Shantou, and the hotel even thoughtfully called to remind us about check-in. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the highway exit. The room layout was well-designed; though not super new, it was perfectly adequate. Soaking in the hot spring tub on the balcony was a great way to wash away the travel fatigue. It's a shame that guests upstairs were still being loud late into the night, but thankfully we're used to going to bed late. In the morning, you can look down from the balcony and see the hot spring pools; there aren't many, but the environment is lovely. Breakfast was decent too. Upon checkout, they even gave us some Longmen local specialties. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a good rest stop during your travels.

The room was amazing, truly spacious! I'll definitely stay at this hotel whenever I get the chance. It has a beach, hot springs, and even allows pets, so the kids loved it and I could finally relax! It's one of the best-equipped hotels in the area. Highly recommended!

Pros: 1. Plenty of activities, so you'll never get bored. Of course, just relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze is also a great option. 2. The room faces the beautiful Twin Moon Bay, so it's worth setting an alarm to wake up early and step out onto the balcony to watch the sunrise. Cons: 1. The room design is really odd. There's no separation between the wet and dry areas. It's the first time I've seen the washbasin directly behind the bed, and shower water even reaches the foot of the bed. 2. The beach directly in front of the hotel has two downsides: first, the water contains a lot of black mud and sand, and second, the sand on the beach is so coarse it hurts your feet. Other: If you don't want to go out for breakfast, definitely book a room with breakfast included, otherwise, 108 RMB per person is really painful. Luckily, the butler was thoughtful enough to send over some fruit.

I had bookmarked this place two years ago, and it just so happened that my stay fell on my birthday. I specifically chose a hotel over a guesthouse, and it really lived up to expectations! The environment and cleanliness were excellent. Parking was super convenient with multiple underground levels of parking spots. I was very satisfied with the hotel's breakfast buffet; I took my time, watching the plants outside the window and spacing out for an hour. Even though I didn't eat much, listening to the music was so enjoyable. My parents went to the hot springs and said the water was very clean, but I didn't go in. I'd definitely come back again if I get the chance! The front desk staff, both the ladies and the 'little dog' (presumably a male staff member, possibly a playful nickname), were very enthusiastic and helpful! The pool was also beautiful, but it was regular temperature, not heated, so I couldn't go in.

We stayed here as a family during our trip through Guangdong. The hotel has some strengths, but I wouldn’t consider it a high-end resort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any questions. Service was definitely one of the best parts of our stay. However, the hotel itself didn’t meet our expectations. It is not located directly on the beach, and the beach area was not very clean during our visit. The swimming pool is relatively small and mainly designed for children, so it isn’t ideal if you’re looking for a relaxing resort atmosphere. The hotel was also very crowded with families, making breakfast and public areas quite noisy. Breakfast offered a good variety of food, but it felt more like a busy cafeteria than a four-star resort restaurant. The seafood buffet dinner was disappointing. The seafood quality was average, and some dishes, including the fish, were served in very limited portions. The location is another drawback. It takes a long time to reach the hotel from either Shenzhen or Guangzhou airports. Personally, I think there are better beach destinations around Shenzhen where you can enjoy a similar vacation without spending hours traveling. Around the area, taxi prices for tourists also seemed inconsistent, so I recommend booking activities through the hotel whenever possible. Overall, I think the hotel offers fair value for the price, but I would rate it as a good standard family hotel rather than a luxury beach resort. It is probably a better choice for Chinese families traveling with children than for international travelers looking for a quiet seaside holiday. I would rate my overall experience 3 out of 5.

I was torn between booking Tan Yue Howard Johnson and Dusit Thani, but I ultimately chose the former, mainly because I thought it had more water entertainment facilities. However, our timing was unfortunate as we arrived just as Typhoon Hato was making landfall. We only got to experience the hotel's full amenities and activities on Friday afternoon. By Saturday morning, the beach was closed, and in the afternoon, the pool closed too, leaving us only the health club to wander around. The hotel's hardware is a bit dated, possibly due to its age, but the service was excellent, especially our butler, Lily. As soon as I added her on WeChat, she proactively checked in on us and asked daily if we needed anything. On Sunday, due to the typhoon, all the restaurants around the hotel were closed. The hotel thoughtfully provided a complimentary Chinese set meal and a buffet dinner, which was very considerate. I hope to avoid typhoon season next time I visit, so I can fully enjoy the hotel's beach and pool.
