Hotels with Parking in Daocheng County

This might be the most unforgettable stay I've had all year, and it's definitely a place I'd want to come back to every year. In a nutshell: if you're visiting Yading, stay here! (I only remembered to take photos after I'd checked out.) First, the location is excellent, and I slept wonderfully. When visiting Yading, you typically choose between Shangri-La Town or Yading Village. However, the town is too noisy and commercialized, while Yading Village is too high up and requires taking a scenic bus with your luggage. This place is just a ten-minute drive from the town but nestled in the mountains at a lower elevation, so I slept incredibly well! Second, the hospitality and cultural charm from the ******* family are truly exceptional! It felt like staying in the beautiful home of a ******* family as a guest. This is a multi-generational household, and it’s been years since I've experienced a true homestay like this. The host, young Mr. Luorong, is warm and welcoming, and he personally designed the house with great taste. Grandpa Danzeng would come out to greet us every evening when we parked, chatting with us, telling us about his family, and offering us plums from their yard. There's also Coke, a playful golden retriever who loves attention... It truly feels like a hidden paradise, like making new ******* friends. I wish the Yangmai family all the best!

Facilities: All necessary amenities are available, and the oxygen concentrator provides a higher concentration than other hotels. Hygiene: The blankets smell fresh, and the room is very clean. Environment: The environment is superb, with ethnic characteristics, perfect for taking photos in the courtyard. Service: The service is also amazing! Very warm and hospitable. The lovely young lady even helped with luggage and made coffee 🫶🏻

Grandfather and Grandma took care of me on the day I went. The service is good, but they don't understand much in communicating. The hotel has a beautiful view but has a musty smell. There is an electric blanket. Hot water is not hot in the bathroom. He intended to serve, but it was as good as this. Overall, if you don't think too much, you can rest.

Value for money. Exceptional hospitality. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was my second stayed after moved out from Yading Village. They greeting me with big smile. The couples also very helpful in getting me the transportation into the national park as well as to the airport. I had a very pleasant stayed towards entire journey and this place is highly recommended. Sometimes is the people who makes you remember the most.

This is an exceptionally good hotel! So good that even a lazy person like me who rarely writes reviews has to give it a thumbs up. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and this is truly the most comfortable and cost-effective one I've ever stayed in. The location isn't particularly hard to find, and the decor is excellent—very new and clean. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are soft. It's quiet in a residential area, with minimal noise at night. If the entire building were converted into a hotel, it wouldn't be inferior to many five-star hotels. There's a convenience store downstairs, making shopping very convenient. The hotel owner's service attitude is also excellent (part of this review is because of his good attitude; otherwise, I'm too lazy to bother with follow-up reviews). Finally, here are a few photos taken in Yading. In short, it's an exceptionally good hotel, and a very enjoyable trip.

The sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.

The location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one. Best wishes to Owner and his Sister with excellent business ahead.

It was a great place for a Westerner to stay. The staff were very helpful. The location was great and there were plenty of food and drink options.Very close by

1. Reception asked for the contact number,I do not have China phone number,so I leave my driver contact info for reception. I Booked the room under my name for 2 nights stay. After 1st stay afternoon,the reception call my driver,ask din check out,what the ridiculous reason?The reception do not check the booking confirmation for 2nights and call and query my driver. 2.hotel room do not provide free oxygen supply,I ok to purchase due to high altitude, but the payment method ony can use wechat scan barcode and China Phone contact and get the verification code(OTP)to proceed.I informed the reception. The reception said will improve, the question is u need to solve the issue for guest immediately. This is easy solve issue and throw back the issue to customers. 3.Hotel wifi only can use wechat to register. But not all the foreign customer got wechat and China phone sim card. 4.The breakfast provided during 7am is cold and hard to chew like noodles etc. 5.The corridor the hotel room is dark ,totally cannot identify which room number,have to use the phone torch light to identify

I was there twice, before and after visiting yading reserve. The first time was nice, the room and shower weren't the best but ok, and the lady at the reception was super helpful with all my questions. On the second time, there was a problem with the water which I only found out after I entered the shower. A small sign could have helped. Eventually I got the water for the shower but later I wanted to go for the toilet and couldn't flush since there were no water, and there was nobody at the reception to ask for help. They changed my bed and the wall near the new bed was filty, and somewhen after midnight they entered the room while I was asleep, turned the light on and started changing the covers for a new girl in the room. I'm sorry but that should have happened during daylight, not at this time, or they should have just given her one of the other vacant beds in the room.
