"The young owners were very welcoming, helpful and suggested different itineraries for us to choose from. Their coffee is heavenly. The room is clean and cozy with floor heating. Shower has instant hot water. We had a great time interacting with the hosts who shared their travel experiences and advice. They recommended 2 local eateries which served delicious tibetian and Chinese food. They also nice to check on us to ensure that we were safe when we didn't return as scheduled from our day trip. My friend has high altitude sickness and the host offered her their oxygen machine to help her. We felt assured that we can always contact the host when we need any help via wechat. We had an amazing Daocheng thanks to the 2 great hosts. I highly recommend them for your stay in Daocheng!"

"The sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong."

"Clean room, with heating mattress. The hotel is located at Station 2, has a tea table with a beautiful mountain view, but it is too cold to sit out and chill. Breakfast is quite simple. The hotel staff cannot speak English but can use Google Translate to communicate. Note that the bus from Station 2 to the tourist area and back from the tourist area is a separate bus, you need to ask the staff to get on the right bus."

"I had a great stay at Snow Area Hot Spring Garden Hotel! It’s a very good hotel and a perfect base if you’re flying in or out of Yading Airport — they offer a free shuttle service, which is super convenient since the airport is about an hour’s drive away. One of the highlights was the “midnight snack” they provide between 9 PM and midnight: a big bowl of delicious noodles and soup delivered right to your room. Honestly, it felt more like a full meal than a snack — so comforting after a long day! The staff may not be fluent in English, but they are incredibly kind and tried their best to assist us. We felt very welcomed throughout our stay. The room itself was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything a traveler could need. If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay before or after your Yading trip, I highly recommend Snow Area Hot Spring Garden Hotel!"
