We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. On arrival we had a warm traditional welcome and were greeted by the manager, Devansh and his staff. We were upgraded to a private pool cottage which was amazing. All the staff in the hotel were so friendly, obliging and obviously professionally trained in their respective professions, taking pride in all they did. We have never enjoyed service like this and it was obvious that the GM oversaw everything from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. Spa was amazing experience also, relaxing and very atmospheric. The setting was breath taking and the view incredibly beautiful. The photos are fab but do not do the place justice. The wait staff were so helpful, giving us loads of helpful suggestions. We are not familiar with Indian cuisine and they suggested combinations and offered loads of different to things to try which greatly enhanced our experience. On check out the GM ensured everything was 100% (as he had done several times during our stay) and even had a mini Bon Voyage cake to send us off! In short I’d give this hotel and staff 10 stars if I could! I will make every effort to return and can’t wait to recommend it to everyone I know.

excellent experience. team specially GM is too good. beautiful location, absolutely on river and with a view of Athirapaali waterfalls. food and service is quite okay. overall no complaints. suggested GM to improve standard of high tea and restauarant service.

My family (and I) had a lovely stay here at Niraamaya - everything from the booking to the stay itself, we couldn't have chosen a better place. We were there on a Monday, so it wasn't too busy. The staff was exceptional and it truly made it feel like we were taken care of at every point. It was my parents' anniversary and they even brought over a complimentary cake and card which made the trip even more personal. Have to also point out that the food was incredible too as I keep thinking back to the dinner we had. Whilst Athirapally itself is further away from other places in Kerala, I would still highly recommend this stay and the experience of staying near the waterfall!

Loved my stay at Niramaya! We stayed for four days, and each day was truly memorable. The team was excellent throughout! Special thanks to Devanash—his leadership was outstanding and added a personal touch to the whole experience. I'm a global trotter, but I’ve never received such a thoughtful gift before. By the end of our stay, the entire team felt like family!

Lugar maravilloso, delante del rio y con vistas a las cascadas. Comida de calidad, servicio estupendo, nos hicieron la estancia de varios días muy agradable y bonita. Resaltar el trato exquisito del director, encantador y gran profesional que trata a los huéspedes como amigos, Muy recomendable, dan ganas de volver al sur de la India pensando en este maravilloso lugar. We had such a lovely stay at Niraamaya Resorts in Athirapilly. The setting is stunning, but what really made the experience amazing was the fantastic food and the incredible service. Every meal we had was delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. A big shoutout to Mr. Devanash, the general manager, who was so kind and attentive throughout our stay. He genuinely went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and that personal touch made all the difference. It was one of those rare trips where everything just felt right—relaxing, warm, and so memorable. We’re already talking about going back!
