The great location for connecting Metro

We were sceptical considering the price and some negative reviews, but can recommend it. If you are in Paris exploring all day and just need a base for crashing in the evening this is for you. Quite basic but clean. Superb vibrant location with excellent transport links. Loads of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby.

The room size is just right, not too big and not too small. Convenient for traveling, not far from the subway.

It shouldn't cost half as much. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired: snot stuck to the wall, lint on the floor, some hair in the bathroom, spiders, etc. The room is so small that only one nightstand fits on one side, and it's turned upside down. There's no air conditioning, so on the day of the music, when the whole street was partying at full blast, you can't open the windows to sleep because it's like lying in a nightclub, and if you close the window, you'll be suffocating from the heat. The floor of the room was tilted in several places. The shower is tiny; you can't get in too tight, and the shower head keeps falling off. There are no amenities. The furniture is of poor quality, old, and poorly maintained. There's only one elevator, which is tiny and takes a long time every time you need it. On the positive side, the location. Quite central and with a metro station for easy access to the local attractions. The bed was also quite comfortable. The breakfast was quite good, although not very varied, the same every day.

After checking in, I got into the elevator, but it stopped halfway and I got trapped. It was a very old elevator and it was very scary because it was unstable. I stayed there from June 17th, but there was no air conditioning in the room and it was very hot at 34 degrees. I asked the front desk to lend me a fan, but they said it would be the next day, so I couldn't use it that day. It was also unfortunate that the room was very different from the photos on Trip.com and was quite inferior. For these reasons, I decided to stay at another hotel for the remaining four nights, except for the first night. To be honest, I cannot recommend this accommodation.

The location was good, so it was easy to get around. The hotel itself is old, but it seemed to be well-cleaned. The men at the reception were all very kind. It's fine as a business hotel for single travelers.
