"The only thing I enjoyed about my stay was the king size bed. For $200, you would think the pool would be beautiful, blue, and clean. But it looked like I was in a pool if Mountain Dew. It was green and needed shocking and a good cleaning. It was awful because I am a swimmer. I love to get up and do laps in the pool and was happy because it was outside and not inside so could get some sun. But it was so so green. And then I needed to wash clothes. There were two washing machines for a wash was $2.00 in quarters. Only one worked because it was an out of order on the other one. So washed one load and it was fine. Tried to do a second one and it took my money. When I put the $2.00 in quarters and went to press start, it reset itself and told me $2.00 again and wouldn't start. So I was out of quarters and went downstairs to go get change. I spoke with a man and asked him for change and told him it took my money, he not once offered to give me my money back when I told him about the washer and told me he couldn't give any change. That I needed to go ask the service station across the road or go to a laundromat down the street. I thought to myself, if you have the service, you should have change to give me when I need it and you should have at least apologized for my inconvenience if you wasn't giving me the now $4.00 in there trying to get it to work. Its not the $4.00 money back, it was that he wasnt accommodating or sorry or offered to help me or look at it or nothing. And was just quick to dismiss me instead of making sure when you pay $200 per night stay,then you deserve better service than a dirty pool, the only two washing machines in the place and both were out of order. He could have offered to wash them for me or give me something for my inconvenience and he didn't at all. And I have one more complaint, went to the bar that Saturday night after going to cracker barrell for supper. I went down stairs and waited for my husband to come down and went to sit in the bar. There were five men at the bar chairs enjoying their drink and talking and I sat down at a table and waited for over ten minutes. Not once was I spoken too or even asked if I would like to order a drink or something to eat. Was never even greeted. Only seen the bartender one time and he never asked me anything or greeted me at all. I wanted to order a Lemon Drop shot but couldn't because I was never asked. So when my husband came to the bar and got me, he sat there and I told him I haven't even had anybody come over and ask me if needed anythingti drink or eat. We sat there a few minutes and just got up and never went back because of no service. So my $200 per night stay at the Holiday Inn was very poor and not worth all that money for the way I was treated at the bar and the washing facility service being out of order, needing change, wanted to swim in a blue pool and not one green that looked like mt.Dew. But the bed was awesome. And the two ladies that was at checkin when I checked in were great , were nice as could be and polite."
