Excellent stay at the sanctuary. Our room was very nice. Comfortable bed, furnished deck, nice seating area and excellent bathroom. The staff were great all around. Nice gym and we had great massages in the very nice relaxing spa. Only complaint was that we had difficulty enjoying the pool because each day we went we were attacked by flying gnats. Don't know if its the time of year or what, but the Hotel should spray the area to make it comfortable for its guests. But for this, my review would have been 5 stars.

The property is amazing and a great location. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. The dining at Elements wont disappoint, the menu has a great selection and the staff his very welcoming. My husband and I will be returning in the near future to enjoy the area and each other.

I had such high expectations for The Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Spa, but my experience was beyond disappointing from the moment I arrived to the end of my visit. When I first walked in, two customers were arguing with the front desk attendant, which immediately set a chaotic tone. Because of that, my own check-in was rushed and incomplete. The front desk employee told me to “just head back” and that I could check in after my massage. I had never been there before, so I was completely lost. No one greeted me, offered a robe, or showed me to a locker. I ended up being late to my massage and losing time because of the confusion. When the service began, the massage therapist asked if I had any injuries or sensitive areas. I explained that I have a medical condition and cannot have anyone touch my head or upper neck. She acknowledged this but still touched those areas during the service, which was both painful and alarming. On top of that, the massage itself was nothing like what I booked. It was so light that I repeatedly asked for more pressure, only to be told that the massage was “meant to be very light.” It honestly felt like someone barely brushing their fingertips and nails across my skin, not an actual massage. I left feeling more frustrated and tense than when I arrived. At checkout, I explained everything to the front desk associate and the Assistant Spa Director, Jennifer. While she apologized and offered me 30% off my next service, that gesture doesn’t come close to making up for what happened. This was my first visit, and it was so negative that I can’t imagine coming back, even at a discount. The cost was $277 plus an automatic 20% gratuity (which I lowered to 15% which was $57), and I truly feel like I paid over $300 for no real service at all. I was not offered even a small discount after explaining the situation to the associates. I left feeling robbed of both my money and peace of mind. Given how poorly the experience was handled and the lack of accountability from management, I cannot recommend this spa to anyone. It was a complete letdown from a resort with such a well-known name. The arguing customers I saw upon arrival should have been a clear warning sign, I wish I had turned around right then.

The Sanctuary was recommended to us by a friend. We enjoyed our stay here and wished it was not so short. Troy at the front desk, our valet driver, and the women's spa attendant were so friendly! Our mountain suite was spotless, comfortable, and had a wonderful mountain and sunset view. We walked into Elements in the evening and received a spectacular table with a view and great service. We did not have time to fully utilize all of the resort offerings, but we noticed there are plenty of pools, pickleball and activities for couples and families alike.

We had a mother-daughter long weekend at this resort, and truly enjoyed the stay. We went with the spa package, and my mother had the best massage she has ever experienced here... plus we had a great dinner. I would recommend a suite, as it gives you more space to spread out. I would definitely revisit for a relaxing weekend.

First off to find the nail salon was very confusing but that wasn’t my entire issue. My main issue was they will convince you to try the Dazzle dry polish if you get Groupon of the deluxe pedicure please don’t listen when they say it’s just a $10 add on. It was a whole lie and I felt for my first experience that I was being lied to and it was hard to know if they were trustworthy after that since I go to pay and then I’m told it was a $35 add on. I emailed the management and nothing was done or told sorry on that experience… why does it seem so shady. Like I just don’t understand

We stopped at Jade Bar for a cocktail. The best Old Fashion. They offer a happy hour with small plates. The view is beautiful, service impeccable, and bar lively. Valet or self-parking is available. A wonderful location for drinks or dinner - or both.

Well I seen previous reviews and not sure why anyone would give a 4 let alone 3. I would say this place has it all figured out. Customer service, housekeeping, parking, the spa, diner, bar and area was fantastic!!!! We enjoyed Elements way much what a fantastic meal. ! We also had salads at Jade along with drinks. What a great job and very pleased with the meals. We were able to enjoy the spa amenities which were very relaxing. In addition we also took in a massage. “Joanna” rubbed all the aches in my back away. I could go on and on about this place as we have decided that going forward, this is the only resort for us. Thanks again to the entire staff!
