Hotel was nice and there weren't too many people on site. We’re not the extra romantic couple, so this was a little extra for us, but we were able to spoil ourselves and relax. Breakfast was like a normal hotel complimentary breakfast buffet, but Justin served us both days and he was excellent. Spooners had many events and things to do. The bed was comfortable, however, don’t sit on the edge because you will fall, and it was sunken in the middle, so that made it a little hard to sleep in a comfortable position. Overall, great stay, great resort, and down the street from Mt. Airy ****** which was fun as well.

Husband and I went for 3 nights in July to celebrate our 9th anniversary. We were glad to have time away together, but we're disappointed at the condition of the facility for the price. Dirty. Smelly. Looked outdated. Actually, really gross when my husband stepped with a damp bare foot on the carpet, then into the shower and discovered black soot all over his feet! The room smelled so awful that we had to buy a scented candle at the gift shop to stop gagging at the odor. Wine was served to me in a glass with lipstick marks at dinner one night. Don't get me started on the outdated decor. On the plus side, the food was delicious and the staff were sweet and accommodating. But they seem super understaffed--one bartender for the entire Saturday night crowd? Drinks were over sweet, over priced and yucky. We can laugh about it together now, but we won't be going back. I hate that we were both so eager to get away from our weekend that was supposed to be a treat. It was a horror show. Have you seen Schitt's Creek? That motel? Yep.

Great vacation spot! Plenty of daily activities and the surrounding area is beautiful! Chef Anthony was very accommodating to my girlfriends dietary restrictions and I couldn't be happier.

The property was a mess. There were weeds growing between the cement cracks by the pool. The entire place was so neglected. The breakfast staff was not attentive. I had to ask three people to get a bagel and waited about 10 minutes at the kitchen door to speak to somebody. I am very disappointed with this property.

Resort Review I recently stayed at this resort and appreciated the overall layout, which was quite comfortable and inviting. However, there are several areas that could benefit from some additional care and attention to enhance the guest experience. Firstly, the cleanliness of the property needs significant improvement. The doors had dark spots of handprints, and the pool area mirrors were smudged with fingerprints. The carpets throughout the resort could use a deep steam clean to restore their appearance. The bedding also felt outdated; the beds could benefit from new, fresh cover sheets and a more polished decor to create a more welcoming atmosphere. Despite these issues, I truly believe the resort has a lot of potential. With some extra TLC, it could become a truly exceptional place to stay. I hope management considers these suggestions for future improvements.
