"We have just returned home from a three week stay at the Pacific Palms resort, and are very happy with our experience. The proprietors, Andy and Nikki, were wonderful to deal with. From the time we started the booking process through to our departure, they were friendly, helpful and patient. The resort is well located, within very easy walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping. Although we did not make use of it, the bus service to Tauranga and other parts of Papamoa was also close by. The resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and well appointed. We particularly enjoyed using the picnic area near the heated pool. Our apartment was spacious and contained everything we needed to live comfortably in our “home away from home”. The living room furniture was a little dated and could have been a bit more comfortable, but we spent more time sitting in our unit (for personal reasons) than would be normal for someone visiting such a beautiful part of the world. We would recommend the Pacific Palms resort, and would not hesitate to stay there again ourselves."

"The location of the hotel is a bit remote but quiet and comfortable😌. The scenery is particularly beautiful. Right outside the door is the beach🏝hotel🏨, which can also be said to be RV camping⛺️. There are many room types. When booking a room, be sure to note that some room types have shared bathrooms."

"Unit 7 needs a good clean, it’s not clean…management aren’t keeping on top of their job..shame because it’s well designed.. bathroom is new but shower needs a good clean around the base & shower wall…weird interior curtains & wall hangings needs to be dumped especially carpets..fridge although clean the icebox was a solid block of ice that had to be chipped away to fit in an iceslicker Linen was clean, rubbish bin clean"

"The camp has the best feeling, just a safe place, lots of activities at camp and out and about. We really love the cafe and the Op+shops out the gate. The beach is just a short walk away. And the camp facilities are so great. Showers, kitchen and bathrooms are very clean."
