Fitzherbert Castle Motel ★★★★
"I stopped here just because I was tired of driving. There are a bunch of restaurants around and a supermarket, so in that sense, the location is good, but I don't think there is much interesting in the proximity. The room was great: very clean, spacious, the shower was clean and the towels smelled fresh. Even the shampoo, conditioner and bodywash were very nice, not like the regular cheap stuff you get. So all in all a great place to have a rest."
Copthorne Hotel Palmerston North ★★★★
"Good location and clean room"
Aspree Motor Inn ★★★★
"Location ok but quite dusty interior as maybe not dusted or rented for some time. Window latch was broken so couldn’t secure it. Flies n mozzies kept us company for the night and one side electric blanket was not working."
Alpha Motor Inn ★★★
"We stopped in here passing through Palmerston North. Had everything we needed. Rooms clean and comfy. Kettle and fridge in the room, which was perfect for what we needed. There was a hairdryer iron and ironing board in the room to which is great. Cheap and cheerful would stay again if passing through."
Cornwall Motor Lodge ★★★★
"Very close to the super, no more than ten minutes walk to reach. Laundry service costs 2 NZD each (washing/dryer). Upstairs room - bathtub is with bed. Not available if not for couples."
City Corporate Motor Inn ★★★★
"The room is on the second floor, there are two rooms inside and outside, one outside is a big bed, and the other inside has two small beds, which is convenient for families to live in."
Distinction Palmerston North Hotel & Conference Centre ★★★★
"Very good service, excelletn food, room good, older but very clean for an old building, would stay there again for sure"
Legends Motel ★★★
"Got there was told we had a pay $100 bond because we didn’t have a credit card which I would be fine doing if we were told that when we booked could barely understand the lady at the reception the room was low quality bed and bed linen uncomfortable the spa bath wasn’t cleaned properly and was also overpriced for what we got even if it was cleaned properly"
Shadzz Motel ★★★★
"Very clean and warm"

Distinction Coachman Hotel, Palmerston North
"The room is very cozy, and the breakfast has few varieties"
Ambassador Motel
"Lovely and clean. Friendly staff. Fantastic location close to city centre. Definitely recommend."
A'La Vista Motel
"My partner and I stayed at A'La Vista Motel for the first time recently. The location is definitely a plus – it's really handy and we enjoyed being able to walk into the central square easily. We found the room to be reasonably clean, though perhaps not the most sparkling we've ever seen. The motel is quite dated and, in our opinion, felt a bit overpriced for what it offered. I do understand that accommodation prices everywhere in New Zealand have gone up, so that's likely the reason. It has all the basic facilities mentioned in its promotions and the overall look isn't terrible by any means, it's just a bit tired. It served its purpose for a night, but we'll probably look for a different option next time we're in town."
Masonic Hotel
"All the big hotels in Palmerston North were booked out, so I took a chance on this place. I was pleasantly surprised. While the entry foyer and the hallways were a bit 1970ish, the room was excellent. All you need for a comfortable overnight stay. Recommended."
Carramar Motor Inn
"Very clean room, easy check in, new comfortable mattress"
Aubyn Court Spa Motel
Drovers Motor Inn
"great to find, clean and friendly"
Avenue Motel Palmerston North
"The room for 3 pax was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom although very clean could do with updating. It would have been much more pleasant if it’s made less sterile and cosy like the room. Appreciated free Netflix for a cosy night in. Hotel is clean and efficient. Location is close to supermarket and food."
Hacienda Motor Lodge
"Very good, good environment"
Ramada Encore by Wyndham Palmerston North
"Staff were very helpful and we were right in the middle of town so was walking distance to everything. Only one thing was the noise from outside of our room air con units. 😆"
Chancellor Motor Lodge and Conference Centre
"Great place to stay, spacious and comfortable. Comfy beds, very generous bathroom. Close to the city center, walking distance to some eateries and bars. Perfectly central and easy drive to the university. Close to busy road but noise not a factor. Friendly host. Would stay again."
Camelot Motor Lodge and Conference Centre
"All good"
Fitzherbert Regency Motor Lodge
"The hotel was lovely, the location was a bit funny. The bed was comfortable. I didn't like the fact that the people next to us had there bathroom fan or spa jet going all night other than that I liked everything else"
Harringtons Motor Lodge
"We arrived after long drive from Wellington and was greeted by very welcoming young lady at the reception. The room was well laid out with allocated parking just few steps away. For the price we felt we got really good value."
Rose City Motel
"The room is clean and hygienic, the Chinese owner is friendly and welcoming"
