Orbit in- 21 and over

As a former resident of Palm Springs, I'm very picky about location when I visit. We chose the Orbit Inn based on its proximity to Palm Canyon Blvd. and TripAdvisor reviews. Little did we know that we would find a permanent home for future visits to Palm Springs and were left wondering why we hadn't discovered this gem before. Bill, the longtime manager who runs the place, is the consummate host. No detail is overlooked from the initial tour of the property to personally showing you how things work in your room. And, when he offers to assist with any question or concern, he really means it. For Bill, his guests' ultimate comfort is his primary goal. Our retro room was delightful and spacious enough to be comfortable. Our back patio was a quiet little oasis and the pool area is comfortable. There is coffee and tea always available and a well stocked refrigerator with water, soda, etc. 24 hours a day. The "continental breakfast?" No packaged Svenhards sweet rolls and fake eggs here. The breakfast is a healthy, organic mix of yogurt, granola, oatmeal, breads and fresh fruit - a perfect way to start the day. And don't miss the happy hour when Bill will personally make you an Orbitini! Bike use (with bike locks and helmets) is free and offers another way to tool around the city. The Orbit Inn is everything you're looking for in a comfortable stay. The ultimate compliment? My wife who is always skeptical of places I choose on the internet stated she would stay at the Orbit Inn 10-times over! There is is no TripAdvisor 5-Star or AAA 4-Diamond rating higher.

Orbit in Palm Springs is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the chill, retro-modern vibe sets the perfect tone for a relaxed and memorable evening. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool—stylish without trying too hard—and invites you to unwind and enjoy. The Orbitini cocktails are out of this world—perfectly balanced, creative, and absolutely delicious. A huge shoutout to Brian and the entire staff—their hospitality is top-tier. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, they make you feel right at home while keeping the energy upbeat and welcoming.

Enjoyed the mid century vibe with original features we enjoyed in The Rat Pack room such as original tiles and kitchen fridge / oven / sink unit. Brian was a great hose serving complementary Orbitini’s in happy hour and a chance to chat and learn about the hotel and Palm Springs. You didn’t have to join in however - you can be as private or friendly as you like you won’t be judged here. The breakfast was limited to yogurt and cereal bars and coffee on tap but no fresh items or pastries as the booking suggested. We’ve stayed in other properties and this is a great location for restaurants and shops - easily walkable yet quiet and near the famous tennis club. Would recommend.

It is a laid back quiet hotel perfect for relaxing and chilling out the manager Brian is a great guy nothing to much trouble and the orbiti ( cocktail) hour around 4.30 is lovely with the other guests it’s only 9 rooms I think but a great experience

If mid century is what you’re looking for then this is the place. Zero complaints and would definitely stay here again and again.

A Perfect Getaway Walking distance to all the DTPS attractions, this lovely spot has everything we like about PS in a quiet, private and adults-only setting. Just a few blocks from the action, but a world away.
