2nd time staying here-1st time was great; this time less impressive. TV didn’t work in room at all despite them trying to fix it.

Our entire experience was outstanding! Location, scenery, vibes, hospitality, food, decor -all of it! Can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful hotel in downtown Palm Springs with great vibes. Everyone we met was friendly and services were top notch. Definitely recommend the Thompson if you visit the area.

we had an exceptional stay at the Thompson Hotel in Palm Springs! The hotel is relatively new and has great amenities, a fun vibe, great food and drinks and is perfectly located right in the heart of downtown in Palm Springs. The rooms a bathrooms are good sized, modern and ours had a nice little balcony area that looked over downtown and the mountains. Staff was exceptional! Highly recommend for a great Palm Springs experience!

JetSetBear and the Grumpy Wombat checked into the Thompson Palm Springs and loved it — even the Wombat ran out of things to complain about. We showed up early, and Robbi at the front desk worked magic. She texted within 30 minutes with a room ready. We’d asked for an upper floor, but fate (and Hyatt) had better plans — our Suite Upgrade landed us in Room 290, a courtyard suite with a big private patio, huge bathroom, soaking tub, walk-in shower, and a beautifully designed bedroom. Quiet, private, and the Wombat started using words like “pleasant,” which is basically a confession of joy. Greg the bellman gave us a tour of the upper level which was lovely and very quiet and secluded if that is your vibe! Thanks Greg for taking the time! Pool scene: friendly guests, comfy loungers, never crowded. Luis and Makayla kept everyone well hydrated and were always smiling and happy. We loved it so much we barely left the property. Food & drinks were excellent: breakfast at Lola Rose with Sophia was a hit, dinner in the lounge was great, and Bar Issi was delicious. The wine bar, Hall Napa, was another highlight — John S. knows his wine and makes tasting fun. Bottom line: gorgeous rooms, great staff, amazing food and drinks. JetSetBear gives it five stars. Grumpy Wombat begrudgingly agrees — which is basically a rave review. We’ll be back.
