The place is 1989 Timeshare Hell DUMP. The facilities are beat- and I mean beat. The buildings are dirty, rust ever where. The room was barely OK. For $600 a night I would stay home. The people are kind- particularly Kevin at the pool, Mia at the Sports Bar restaurant and Eli at the Steakhouse. However- this place is a STAY AWAY

Everything from check in to check out was first class. Hotel, golf courses, and food were all outstanding. Absolutely beautiful property, and the entire staff always went above and beyond.

Amazing property and staff, you wont be disappointed, The property is well maintained and accommodating. Free self parking and perfect views of the ocean throughout the property. Beach is well maintained and there are several pools to enjoy.

Definitely not a “luxury” resort. - Loggerheads restaurant was awful. Very slow service and food was horrible. Staff took our room key when we were seated and don’t return it until we got our check. Have no idea what that was about, but it appeared it was the protocol for everyone. Are there people at the “luxury” resort that run out on their checks? Seriously? - 3% fee for credit card charge for everything at the resort and the fee “reminder” is posted everywhere. It’s 2025, either eat the charge or include it in the price. - Housekeeping provided “upon request”. Found that out the hard way when we asked why our room wasn’t made up. “Luxury” resorts provide it daily. We’re told at check-in that it was provided daily. - Water slide and lazy river didn’t work and neither were going to fe fixed soon based on temporary blow up slide provided as a “solution”. Putting “green” is dirt, not even grass. Not sure what “resort fee” is for if these are broken/not maintained. - Unsolicited 9:00 am text on day of departure stating that 11:00 is checkout time and that there are no late checkouts available. We weren’t staying until 11:00 and didn’t need a text from the resort. Just tacky and classless for a “luxury” resort. Based on many other very similar reviews posted over the past four plus years, if I receive a reply, I expect their typical KDG Capital corporate “thanks for the feedback, will will take it under consideration” Would definitely look elsewhere (eg- Omni on Amelia Island) for much better quality and service for comparable price.

The golf course is amazing Five star but the rest of the resort three star. The building in facilities are very outdated and tired. The restaurants are just ok. We were at a golf tournament and the food that was catered was absolutely delicious top-notch. The pool was shut down because of a storm and they didn’t open it back up until three hours later, but the golf course was top notch and continue to play once lightning had cleared!

Checked into 932, was told at check-in my Amex Plat. would give me a upgrade. Apparently, the room I booked was already "the upgrade" wasnt even offered an alternative "renovated" same room type. After one night on the outdated sofa bed we were moved to 931 a renovated same type of room. We were happy. Until we had poor wifi, the phone did not work (we asked everyday two times a day to have it fixed, nothing) We asked for housekeeping service every morning and afternoon and not one day were we given housekeeping service. David the manager said housekeeping times are a request only. I understand you need to clean checkouts first but if your current guest has multiple days without housekeeping wouldnt you prioritize that? Housekeeping walked in with a DND on the door only when we came back from the pool to call from our cell phone to complain, we asked for new towels and trash bags to be left at the door and what do they do, they walk in and woke the baby up. We left one day before our actual checkout because we were just could not take another night in your hotel and were still charged by Kayla for the last night. I expect a personal response to my call, not email from Clinton the GM/or equivalent too a GM in a hotel. I attempted to speak with him everyday during my stay and could not be connected after asking daily. We only choose your hotel because my wife and girls stayed here before, As a business owner I dont have the luxury to take vacations whenever I want, this was suppose to be a vacation for the family together and it turned into a nightmare.

We had a great time and loved being close to the beach as we stayed in the Lodge. The bed was great! The lighting in the bathroom was so dim! And the hallway and elevator were very hot and humid with no airflow, often smelling very musty and mildewy-smells. The room was very well cooled and with no smell issues there. The staff was great! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The Logerhead Pub food wasn’t that great to us and really expensive for what we got. We had a nice stay, don’t get me wrong, these are just a few little things that could be improved. I’m not sure we would stay there again, but it was great to be able to walk right out to the beach in 2 minutes.
