I’m a frequent visitor to the Breakers, and I find myself on property pretty regularly. Over time, I’ve come to recognize many of the staff by face, and while The Breakers is known for great service, one employee stands out every time: Seneca Skipper from housekeeping. Seneca isn’t in a front-facing customer service role. He’s not stationed at a desk or greeting guests as part of his job. And yet, time and time again, he takes the time—mid-task, often in the courtyard—to stop, smile, and warmly greet me and others with genuine positivity. “Good morning! Beautiful day! Nice to see you!” It may seem small, but it makes a big impact. His energy is contagious, and he makes every guest feel noticed and valued. In today’s world, where going the extra mile is no longer the norm, Seneca is a rare gem. You’re lucky to have him on your team—and as a guest, I’m lucky to have crossed paths with him.

This was the first time I came to this esteemed hotel resort. Service was top notch. It is a huge venue with good amenties (restaurants and bars, beach access, pool, fitness room). We did not try out the spa. We loved the robes, slippers, turn down service and the delicious chocolates that welcomed us. We were there for a conference and the food choices and quality for the 250 plus gathered were good enough. Spoke with several staff, including Ellis the AM Barista and PM Bartender, who were warm, engaging and knowledgeable. The weather was humid yet delightful. Will try to come back and play a round or two of golf.

We pop down to the breakers for a drink and I see the hotel when we are staying in Singer Island and we went to the Flagwood museum first and a mile away is the breakers. Very cool bar with an aquarium bar where the fish swim around underneath pretty cool. The views were amazing. The ballrooms were hugeand everything was just perfect. Check out the photos. Better yet. Go check out the breakers.
