We had a truly wonderful experience during our one-night stay at the end of our trip to Halkidiki. The highlight of our visit was celebrating our son’s 4th birthday, and thanks to the amazing hospitality, it became a memory we will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, Eva at the reception welcomed us with warmth and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure our short stay was perfect. Most importantly, she helped us celebrate our son’s birthday in a truly special way – with a cake and birthday song that made him feel so happy and celebrated. Even though we only stayed one night, it was one of the most memorable parts of our holiday. A huge thank you to Eva for her exceptional service and personal touch. She made all the difference! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area – especially if you’re looking for genuine hospitality and unforgettable moments.

Excellent resort, great service and staff, spacious rooms and terraces, great view too, clean beach and sea, and a very nice member area, à la carte restaurants didn't meet my expectations. The best part of Kassandra.

GENERAL: the hotel is NOT for couples and don't be fooled by the hotel's name (Thermal Spa) - this hotel is focused on families. You know what that means: count with (generally) 2 kids per table at the main restaurant (where the breakfast and buffet are served) and per parasol at the beach. There really is A LOT of kids at this hotel, the most we have seen in a resort. But if you decide to book the hotel, we would suggest you do it via the hotel's website since you will get slightly cheaper prices but most importantly you can be on the Miraggio Club which gives you access to certain parts of the hotel (more on that later). This type of booking was not possible via TUI (which we used to book our stay) and no upgrade was offered during check in, even though we basically paid more for less. We booked the package that included just the breakfast, so keep that in mind. Generally the hotel has nice standard when it comes to infrastructure. It's not the most modern resort we have been to in Greece but it's well taken care of and very clean overall. THE ROOM: the room was spacious. Cleaning happens every day. Some minor defects could be noted, but we would say that it's expected wear and tear at the end of the season. The wifi was pretty bad though. THE BEACH: this area of Halkidiki is not known for its beaches, so expect better beaches elsewhere. The beach was mainly small cobbles and the waters were not the crystal blue that you expect in Halkidiki. We didn't spend a single day at the beach because it was basically a kindergarten (a lot of screaming, splashing, toys everywhere). One third of the beach is reserved to the Miraggio Club members (again, book your room via the hotel's website). Private sun beds can be rented for 80 euros. THE POOLS: the pool areas and sun beds are generous. We didn't have to fight for sun beds even though we went to the pool around 10:00 (end of season though). The main pools will also have a lot of kids. Even the jacuzzi is a bubbling stew of small kids. Our salvation was the +18 adults only pool, where you could actually relax. You will still find some teenagers under the age of 18 around that pool, but they too seemed to crave some peace and quiet. The wifi was really bad in some parts around that pool. THE FOOD: we avoided the main restaurant (Kritamo) apart from breakfast (the only place where you can get it), mainly because it was hell. We have never seen that many kids in the same restaurant ever. There was running and a lot of screaming all the time. There was not a moment of silence during breakfast. The hotel should really consider creating a childfree zone, especially since it wants to be considered a Spa. There is no spa feeling what so ever about that restaurant. We ate at Portofino and Toroneo. The food was delicious, probably the best we have had in a greek resort. The food was, as expected, overpriced (for example: 25 euros for ONE grilled leg of octopus, in the land of octopus). Expect to pay at least
