Delightful stay in the tranquility of the eco-friendly treehouse villa. Super attentive and friendly staff. Rizal and his family were super kind and hospitable and went above and beyond to make us stay enjoyable. The breakfast with his homemade bread was absolutely scrumptious! 😋😁

We stayed 3 nights in the TREE HOUSE before our 4 night / 5 day WOW BORNEO cruise on the Kahayan River, and one night afterwards in their ‘deluxe honeymoon suite’. Hosted by Rizal (his parents were away at the time), our stay in an upmarket suburb of Palangkaraya was magnificent. Web photos & descriptions accurate. Booked direct via webpage, but most subsequent communication by What’s App with Rizal, paid by credit card upon departure. Great breakfasts and local information. Great international air conditioned Mamink’s Kitchen for dinner 7 minutes walk from guesthouse. All highly recommended.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Bukit Raya Guesthouse. All the staff was very lovely. Rizal bakes the best bread and is a fantastic host. We did a tour into the heart of Borneo, which was a once in a lifetime experience! Bukit raya is a must go if you visit central Kalimantan

This is a ba kpacker lodge charging top hotel prices. The breakfast was a piece of bread and a boiled egg. There is no air conditioning. There us a mosque over the road waking you up with a loudspeaker at 4am. There is no lunch or dinner and the nearest restaurant is a kilometre away.

Wir verbrachten 6 Tage in dem ruhigen, kleinen Idyll in Palangkaraya und fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und umsorgt. Besonders lecker war Rizals selbstgebackenes Brot zum Frühstück. Die Ausflüge nach Sebangau und zur Orang Utan-Insel waren gut organisiert und haben Spass gemacht. Auch den kleinen Naturpool des Resorts haben wir gern genutzt. Rizals Tips für unsere Weiterreise waren super.
