"Lovely B&B hotel right on the beach in beautiful Paleochora. Booked this for just the two of us for a few days off sun (much needed as UK is having its worst summer) and we loved our stay here. We’re here for the location and weather so the room may not be bougie but had all we needed. We booked side sea view and 1st floor. Glad we weren’t on ground floor as you get no outdoor space with your room. En-suite was good, wardrobe, dresser, tv, fridge and Wi-Fi throughout. Fan cooking was good as it didn’t dry you out like AC does. Breakfast is continental hams and cheeses, yoghurt and fresh fruit, juices, teas and coffee, pastries and boiled eggs with variety of breads. Get down before 10am though as they stop topping it all up. There’s a water cooler so although there’s no food served during the day, you can refill your water anytime if you need a break from the beach. Staff are lovely and there’s little interaction, you don’t need it. Everything is just done. Rooms cleaned daily. You can sit out on the terrace at breakfast and listen to the waves roll in. Parking is roadside and free but first come first served. A supermarket is 100m to the left of the hotel and it’s got everything you could need. The beach is amazing and the orange dumbed and umbrella are just €4 euro per day for 2 beds if staying here. Half price! This is where the Greek come to holiday and stay to cool off in the crystal waters with soft sand (very hot sand) so that’s about the greatest recommendation a place can get"

"Our 7th visit here and we plan to return as often as possible. Hotel is well-named: a very relaxing & enjoyable stay. As other reviews have mentioned, the entire place is extremely well maintained & spotless. Breakfast buffet is very well stocked and has small variations each day. 10 metres away to a pleasant cafe/bar for lunch or snacks. 25 metres to a beach cocktail bar. 100 metres to supermarket. 150 metres to bakery. Perfect! The pool is a real asset as we had to avoid the beach for a couple of days when the West wind blew. We’ll be back!"

"We had a 3-night stay in July, one adult, two children. The hotel is newly built and in excellent condition, at a prime location in Palaiochora - just in front the sandy beach. Magnificent view from our balcony. There was a special offer for the umbrella/sunbed sets for the hotel guests. The breakfast was delicious, including lots of local products. Very friendly staff and owner, always willing to help. We had a great time at Ammos Hotel and we highly and unreservedly recommend it."

"Wonderful hotel in Palaiochora. Walk to the port and the beach. Fantastic staff, pretty, comfortable and clean rooms, and excellent breakfast with tons of tasty options for every palate. Pool is beautiful as well. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Nothing good to say about this hotel. We were greeted by a grumpy receptionist who told us we had to wear masks and put plastic gloves on at breakfast. At breakfast I asked the waitress if I could have a fried egg a straight forward no was the answer no apology. The room was small and as some one said in an early review not enough room to swing a mature ant in the bathroom and the floor flooded. Avoid this Hotel if at all possible."

"These are great apartments/studios, very well located for the beach, restaurants and bars. The apartments are very clean, are serviced regularly and come with several amenities such as a fridge, hob and coffee machine. The team are extremely friendly and polite, and can make recommendations for places to go if this is your first visit. The manager, Panos, is always so friendly and cannot do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. The beach is located a few yards across the road, and there's a local supermarket just a few minutes walk. There's a multitude of places to eat and drink also a few minutes walk away. You really get the authentic feel when you stay here, and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay."
