101 style Malioboro is a great hotel! We liked absolutely everything! It turns out it is possible! It is hard to find fault or wish for something better! A wonderful spacious room with a view of the magnificent Merapi volcano (unfortunately the sky was not always clear and the volcano was covered with clouds), but we saw it smoking! The room service is regular, fast and very high quality. There is a good pool on the 8th floor, although only 125 cm deep, but this is enough to swim and then get a tan. There is always delicious and hot tea with Javanese herbs at the reception, we recommend it!
The restaurant is a separate topic! Varied, very tasty food for breakfast with the most pleasant service! Moreover, local cuisine, European and even Japanese and Chinese cuisine are presented! Well, VERY TASTY!
The location of the hotel is pleasantly balanced, quite a quiet and calm area from where you can walk to the pearl of Yogyakarta - Malioboro Street, just 10 minutes along the shortest road (if you do not go to the shopping center on the way, where you can shop all day, by the way, the prices there are normal).
Well, the hotel staff is always with a smile and a pleasant location will help in all matters!!!

The rooftop swimming pool is very nice. You can sit on the rooftop and chat at night. It feels like you are looking for a high place in the city to watch the night view. You can also see the volcano from the rooftop in the morning.
