Church Farm Haven Holiday Park

During our stay my family went swimming whilst there someone defecated in the pool the staff shut the pool for 30 mins whilst "cleaning" is taking place for a full decontamination it should be shut for 13 hours minimum. I know this from my cleaning back ground the drains also smelt in the changing area and I don't feel this is cleaned properly or at all .

We stayed in a Diamond Lodge for half term, myself, husband and my 92 year old mum , 2 grandaughters aged 5 and 9. It appeared clean until a closer inspection. One of the showers didn't work but was rectified in a timely manor. Haven you need to check the cleaning is done to a higher standard.

Caravan lovely and clean. All the cooking equipment you need. Entertainment Staff were amazing and so inclusive. Matt at Segway was a really good sport and made the session fun for the children. Activities are good. Food in the Mash and Barrel is good.

I’ve been visiting with my children every year since they were toddlers and they are now in their teens and we have always loved it at Church Farm. But we have noticed standards have dropped. On our most recent visit the swimming pool changing rooms were absolutely disgusting. Muddy, smelly, full of clumped up hair and the no shoes rule not being enforced. Whoever had the idea of a non cash arcade clearly doesn’t understand that the fun of the arcade for children is the cash… and getting the tokens virtually rather than them spewing out of the machine makes the experience so dull and boring. What a shame. We also noticed lots of dog poo around the park. On a positive note, the welcome at the entrance was warm with clear directions of where we needed to go. I’m not sure if we would return after our most recent visit, which is sad to say as we’ve been coming here for years. I’ll keep an eye on reviews to see if they are listening to feedback.

We thought the resort and the activities were actually quite good, caravan super clean and lovely view. But the arcade was really poor and you had to walk through it to get anywhere even to the play park. There were some quite scary people shouting and screaming at their children or others which frightened my small children- both next to our caravan and in the arcades. The clubhouse was just full of children running around rather than sitting and enjoying the entertainment so my children couldn’t understand what’s going on. 3.20 for a soft drink for children! Nice place let down by the people and the arcade and the tiny swimming pool

Was OK, there needs to be a park where the bowls green is instead of having to keep going through the arcade then through the restaurant didn't like the arcades everything was a play card even the 2p machines kids like to have a £1 to fill there pots with 2ps instead of the parents having to keep doing it no tickets come out which takes the fun out of that for kids half the machines were stocked with rubbish stuff some machines just had 2 sweets in them and some were totally empty very rarely were they re-stocked, alot of chavs who didn't care what there kids were doing or where they were you felt uncomfortable in the arcades,very rarely did I get 4g signal was awful, caravans are always right at the back so always had to take the car to get to the entertainment and some of the activities were a waste of money especially den building that was awful all the kids left after 5mins, been to haven twice 2 different sites wouldn't go with haven again will stick to parkdean.
