The room was very smaller and uncomfortable, no view, not matched the photos provided for booking. The bathroom was designed too high for Asian, we couldn’t look at my face at the mirror inside bathroom. Bad design! Extremely disappointed and unhappy about this booking. Affect my chance to further book hotel via Trip.com. Please advise “The Store” to amend their service or the client will go away. Too expensive for a room like this charged over HKD3165. Scam! Scam! Scam!

Superb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park. Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower. The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered.

This is my second stay. Here are my small experiences: The staff are very friendly, especially the male front desk staff RAHUL, who is very friendly and deserves special praise. Here are some shortcomings The room was not cleaned up after more than 4 hours of absence The next day after checking in, someone knocked on the door and asked if I had just checked in or would I leave (very strange) Because it is a newer hotel, the curtains in the room fell down and needed maintenance personnel to repair them. Personally, the overall facilities and environment of the hotel are relatively new and clean, so I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Oxford. The hotel has an unbeatable location, right in the downtown area, with many restaurants, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, bookstores, etc. nearby.

Let me start with the disadvantages. Some of the waiters are not professional and enthusiastic, but most of them are pretty good. The biggest problem is hygiene. We changed 3 rooms in two nights. The first room smelled terrible as soon as we entered it, so we immediately changed rooms. The second room was okay as soon as we entered it, but the sewer started to stink again in the early morning, so we woke up and had to pack our luggage and go downstairs to change rooms. We waited for half an hour and then changed to another room and finally we could check in (but the floor drain still smelled, but it was tolerable). My friend's room was directly cut off from electricity, and all the plugs did not work, only the lights were on. It took nearly an hour to fix it. I found blood on the quilt, so I called room service to clean it, but they would not come unless I called twice. And most of the rooms are interconnecting rooms. If there is noise next door, the sound insulation is really poor, and the sound of opening and closing the door is very loud. The advantage is that the location is really very good, and it is close to everything! It's just that the hygiene and facility problems are a bit serious.

The best we could do was to delay check-out to 12pm instead of 14pm, but we were given a free room upgrade which was good. The items in the small refrigerator were all free which was also good. There were also disposable slippers. I also liked the room, which is suitable for couples, but there was a dog in the room next to us that kept barking.

I want to complain that parking is inconvenient. You have to go to the parking lot of the nearby shopping mall. The navigation basically can't get downstairs, so you need to find it slowly by yourself. 4. Check in on August 1, 2024. The hotel is newly renovated. The smell is very strong and choking. The window of the room cannot be opened, and the smell cannot be released. It feels like a human filter for a night. The smell is so strong that you can't open your eyes🥵 5. Be sure to pay attention to the toilet button in the hotel bathroom. It is easy to get your hand pinched when you press it. I was pinched. Due to language problems, I did not negotiate with the hotel. If I were in China, I should have stayed for free.

I stayed in the UK for 15 days and stayed in this hotel for two nights for 928 pounds. It was the worst hotel experience of the whole trip. It was really not worth it. Then the utensils used were also very poor. The cup for brushing teeth was a plastic cup, and the coffee cup was also a glass cup, and then there were no other cups! The bar is not outside but hidden in the cabinet. Every time you take water or cups from the bar to boil water, you need to open the cabinet and open the door. 3. About the bed: Very bad! The bed is only 1.5 meters, and one side of the mattress feels collapsed and tilted. It feels like it will fall off if it is slightly closer to the side. The quality of the mattress feels very poor. 4. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk. You can only scan the QR code to communicate with them online. 5. About breakfast, the breakfast of the past two days is the worst breakfast I have had in 15 days, no one! There are only a few breakfast categories in the UK, and I can still eat theirs and feel that it is unpalatable. It is really not easy. When I booked, I specially chose breakfast included. Later, my family didn’t want to eat breakfast the next day. I didn’t eat it the next day and gave up because it was really unpalatable. 6. About parking, the hotel does not have a public parking lot, so the car needs to be parked nearby for eight or nine minutes and then walk to the hotel. The hotel does not offer any parking discounts. It's like, "You can stay here or not, I can't help you." In short, Oxford is very nice, but staying in this hotel makes my impression of Oxford not so good.
