A beautiful, calm retreat. We had a nicely decorated room but the highlight of this property is the setting. Beautiful grounds with a large variety of trees and flowers. Fantastic mountain vistas. Friendly staff contribute to the experience. The food is good but not great.

One of the best places we have stayed. You can chill, hike, mountain bike, whatever you want. The hotel and gardens are beautiful. Food and bar exceptional quality. Sitting on the veranda for a sundowner is the best. Pool can be cool, but a lovely quiet area. Hotel staff will sort whatever you need. We had a local guide for hiking a few mornings. Would love to go back…..and really hope to.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and had a lovely stay. The grounds and gardens are absolutely beautiful and the rooms are great too. Food we had onsite was lovely and plenty of it! Staff were friendly and attentive, our only negative feedback is that on arrival we weren’t shown or informed of what was available onsite - so were unaware of where the restaurant was initially, and had no idea how to access the spa. That being said - we had a great stay, was very relaxing with some great hikes and would absolutely visit again.

We enjoyed the lovely homely atmosphere and the friendly staff. The garden is exquisite and the mountains provide a beautiful backdrop. Accomodation and food were very good. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay in the high atlas.

We both enjoyed an understated sense of luxury while we were here. The setting is very beautiful and we found the staff (every single one) to be courteous and engaging. It’s important to us that we see the staff feeling part of the welcome and being valued and this seemed the case. The gardeners were all lovely. The food was always of very good quality (as vegetarians we felt well catered for) and the dining rooms simply beautiful. thank you to all the waiting staff for their patience and welcoming manner. Over all, well done and thank you!

We accompanied my husband on a work trip to Morocco, where the entire resort was booked out by production for a 10-night stay – including dinner per night, per room. This alone was a 6/7 figure sum in euros for the hotel. You’d think that would be more than enough. But no. Instead, greed, lack of integrity, and outright dishonesty meant we walked away from a 9-night stay with a £2,000 bill. We were charged an extra £100 per night – essentially half the price of the room again. No kettle in the room, so you’re forced to order from the bar (with no prices shown anywhere). One complimentary water on arrival, then £5 per bottle after that. Laundry? Over £50 for a hand-luggage-sized case. My children, who ate virtually nothing but a yoghurt and one pancake at breakfast, were still charged £20 each per day. A plate of plain pasta with a sprinkle of cheese? £20. Dinner: without asking, we were served a 3-course meal (often when I only wanted one dish) – later billed at £40 each. Meanwhile, if my husband didn’t eat because he came home late from work, that meal was still charged. During the stay I had one coffee and two bottles of water per day. My husband – one and a half pints after a long day in the caves. Somehow this justified bar bills of £50+ per day. Yes, the hotel itself is undeniably beautiful, as are the grounds. But the dishonesty and greed left a truly sour taste. If you want a genuine Moroccan experience, I urge you to choose a Moroccan-owned hotel, where honesty and integrity still mean something – and not just the flashing of £££ signs in their eyes. Absolutely disgraceful. And I’ll be letting my 2,000+ followers on social media know exactly what went on here.

Another wonderful hotel on our mini tour in Morocco. We stayed here in order to do some short hiking in the Imlil valley, having already hiked near to Ourika. It was definitely worth having a second destination in the mountains and seeing a different valley. The hotel is ideal for this as well - with a lovely pool area to come back to after hiking (the main pool area has such comfortable loungers!) and great food. It was very quiet when we visited, so I don't know how busy the pool gets in other seasons, but we had it almost to ourselves. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. and the scent stays with you as you wander around. Rooms are a very good size.

What a beautiful place! We were driven just over an hour from Marrakech airport up into the Atlas Mountains of Ouirgane to the Domaine de la Roseraie. The gardens are incredible. Everything seemed to be in bloom in mid May when we arrived. There is such an abundance of roses with pretty walkways. There are so many lemon trees. We loved the fact that there are several swimming pools and that around the main pool you can lie on mobile beds with sprung mattresses - it was so comfortable. The weather year round in the mountains here seems ideal. Everything we tried on the restaurant menu, which changed daily, was excellent and we were surprised with the quality of the Moroccan wines on offer.
