The room has everything！Clean and comfortable.U can enjoy the view outside the window. Stayed at Sho Inn for 1 night in Otaru. It’s a little out of the way from the Otaru station if you do not drive, but they offer shuttle service to the Otaru Canal and Otaru station when you check out! The host Hideshi was incredibly kind, even going the extra mile to bring my neck pillow, which I had accidentally left in the accommodation after check out, to the Otaru station at my preferred time that evening. It was a gesture testament of the great hospitality of the Japanese. Would definitely recommend this place especially if you’re a solo traveller / prefer your own private space instead of going to those hostels with double deckered beds and curtains!

The whole hostel is super clean! The bed is big and very comfortable! There are free washing machines and dryers to use, and laundry detergent and bleach are provided. Very suitable for backpackers, everyone is very conscious!

Environment: The small window in the room is surprising, and it feels like an oil painting when you look out. The location is far from Otaru Station/Otaru Canal/Otaru South Station, etc. You need to take a bus to get there. There is a bus stop less than 1 minute away from the hotel. It is relatively close to Tengu Mountain and can be reached on foot. The hotel host provides pick-up and drop-off services to the above-mentioned places during the time period of 16:00-22:00.

The room is very small and the location is a bit remote, but fortunately there is a pick-up service. There are no convenience stores around, and you have to walk a long way. The toilet and shower facilities are relatively limited, and you may need to wait. It can only be said to be an economical choice.

Hokkaido is a tourist peak season in winter, and accommodation is very expensive. The hotel I stayed in in Otaru this time was very good. The room was large enough for one person, and the public washing area and toilet were very clean and full of details. I will come again next time. It is very cost-effective.

A very, very good capsule hotel. The owner picked me up at the JR station and also picked up another friend of mine. We don't live together. Every time I go out, the store will send me a message asking if I need pick-up. The uncle is a very warm-hearted person, which is very nice. I booked this for my trip to Otaru. It's quite a walk up a hill from Otaru Station and Minami Otaru Station, but it's about a 20-minute walk from Tenguyama, so it was a good location for me who wanted to see the night view. There were many toilets and showers compared to the number of rooms, and it was generally clean and nice. I thought it was great that there was a microwave and refrigerator, and that the washing machine and dryer were free of charge. However, there are no amenities such as razors or toothbrushes, so you need to prepare them. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, so it's a good idea to do your shopping in advance. Although it was at the last minute, they arranged for me to be picked up and dropped me off, which was very helpful.

I made an appointment to drop off at the JR station the next day, which was very punctual. On the day of arrival, I changed buses at Minami-Otaru Station. I personally feel that it is more convenient to change buses at Otaru JR Station. For reference. It is very close to Tengu Mountain. After watching the night view, we took the bus down the mountain for 2 stops and walked back to the hotel for less than 1 kilometer. Although there were not many pedestrians on the road at night, it was still safe. I passed by a convenience store and bought dinner to heat up. There are also simple meals at the front desk of the B&B. You can microwave them for a fee to solve the problem.

Check-in was convenient and very good, but I went too late and walked from JR. I fell halfway and swollen my elbow, but I was going to walk when I left. The store owner recognized me halfway and sent me to the station. I wish the store good business.

The hotel is about 2 kilometers away from Otaru Station. It is very convenient to take a taxi after exiting the station. There are also buses to Tenguyama. The hotel rooms are capsule rooms with independent entrance doors and access control. They are very safe and clean for girls to live in. I will choose this room again next time I go.

The room is clean, but it is far from the JR station and convenience store. However, you can make an appointment with the hotel to pick you up from the JR station. Overall it is very good!
