Property Description
The Stable is a detached hideaway nestling on the side of a small, secluded and peaceful valley in rural North Shropshire looking out across the rolling Welsh hills which rise to the Berwyn Mountains beyond. The sympathetic conversion from a small, traditional stable block has retained its original looks on the outside whilst on the inside it is a modern and well-equipped cottage. The accommodation is light and airy in the warm summer months and the under-floor heating in the kitchen and shower room. There is a wood-burner and electrical heating in the lounge that provides a snug and cosy atmosphere when the weather turns chilly. The Stable has beautiful surroundings and has all the facilities needed for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Situated at the edge of the owners’ large, landscaped garden and surrounded by woodland and farmland, the property is approached down a private, tarmacked track where there is parking area for vehicles only a few metres from the property. It has its own private, neatly-fenced and hedged garden with several trees and a variety of plants, patio pots and hanging baskets. A secluded patio area, with table and chairs, provides a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the views to the hills. It is an ideal place for bird-watching with a large variety of birds visiting the bird-feeders, which can be seen from the patio or the sitting room. The Welsh hills provide a stunning backdrop for spectacular sunsets and the nights can provide crystal clear conditions for star gazing. There are numerous and varied local walks from the doorstep into the surrounding woodland and open hills giving views into Wales, Shropshire and beyond. There are also many walks in the Shropshire and Welsh countryside that can be accessed by travelling short distances from the property. Information and maps provided in The Stable give details of these walks and many other places to visit.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.

A stay in Eden Within 1 hour of arriving, my soul was refreshed from the beauty I experienced here. Jean and Nikki have done a remarkable job in renovating this stable and garden area. The accommodations were first rate. Three days was not long enough. I will come back if I have the opportunity.Thank you, Jean, for keeping me company for my first mean there.

This is an absolute gem of a property... just us and the sheep, cows and birds... and the lovely property owner over the hedge at the top of the garden. We had a very warm welcome, complete with cake! Trust the directions you're given... you will find the property! We can't wait to stay here again. Thankyou Jean!

Outstanding Property The property is beautifully kept by the owners, the owners are also very helpful. The property has a mezzanine bedroom, cosy sitting room, kitchen and bathroom/wetroom all spotlessly clean. There was a nice touch with cake, milk, tea and coffee. The enclosed gardens had plenty of wildlife, birds, squirrels and rabbits. The roads to the property are single track with no passing sections thats the only downfall. You need to go well equipped as there are no local shops.
