The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very kind; we arrived after 10 PM, and he still kindly booked tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle for the next day (no extra charge). The room size was okay, simple but not flimsy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which was very convenient, and the town is very safe, so there was no need to worry about luggage. The breakfast room had a view of Neuschwanstein Castle from the window, creating a fantastic atmosphere."

"Very nice people, both in helping with the booking, at reception and in the Spa and restaurant. Everything can be arranged to make you more comfortable or have an even more pleasant stay. I have stayed in many hotels all around the world, and some had great locations, or plenty of services, but none had more friendly staff. The location is great also by the way, and the Spa is awful. Swim at 7:00 before breakfast with a great view over the Sunny Alps. Have a wonderful breakfast. Your day is already made before it even started."

"After having visited 3 hotels on the romantic route classified 4 stars and a 3 star in Augsburg where we had very good services we were surprised when entering the room: small, old-fashioned, entrance door with key leaving something to be desired as to safety (visible screws). The television remote control did not work as did the trunk. The shower is a cabin with a rim, in short, very far from the services expected for a 4-star hotel. Well, nothing practical either. The only good point is the view.... the rendering of the room in real life does not really correspond to the photos sold."

Overall, the value is acceptable, considering it has an indoor swimming pool and sauna that stays open until 10 pm, which is rare in this area."

The total price for all four of us was reasonable."

"Located in the heart of a small town, this is an older, well-established detached villa. Self-check-in is after 6 PM, and a €6 fee is automatically charged whether you have a car or not. There's no elevator, so be mindful if you have a lot of luggage. As for the room itself, the ceiling has a medieval count-like pattern, which was a bit spooky to wake up to in the middle of the night. Plus, there were way too many bugs. The location, however, is unbeatable."
