Ocean View Lodging House
"Our family stayed at this hotel for 5 days at the end of March and we were very happy with our experience. It's a very quiet and cozy hotel right on the ocean, with a fantastic view from the dining area. Our room was small, but the beds and mattresses were comfortable. There was always hot water. The room windows faced a shared corridor, but this wasn't an issue for us; we enjoyed the sea views from the common area while sipping on complimentary coffee or a glass of rum. The dining area is equipped with dishes (plates, mugs, cutlery) and a refrigerator where you can store food and drinks, plus ice is always available in the freezer for beverages. There's no stovetop for cooking, but you can order takeout from a nearby restaurant through the hotel, or bring your own food. You can also rent a motorbike at the hotel for 500 pesos per day. The owners are incredibly warm and helpful people, always ready to assist. Upon arrival, they arranged our airport transfer from Cebu for 5000 pesos. They also organized tours for us to see whale sharks (1000 pesos/person for the ticket), Sumilon Island (500 pesos/person), and Tumalog Falls (6 pesos/person for the ticket, plus 500 pesos/person for transportation). We were very pleased with the tours and the guidance, a big thank you to Baby, the hotel owner, for organizing everything. We decided to visit Moalboal independently, which turned out to be quite easy. The bus stop is located next to a 7/11 store; just wait for a light green bus and take it to the final stop, Bato Terminal (60 pesos per person). From there, transfer to another bus heading to Moalboal (138 pesos per person). Once in Moalboal, take a tricycle to the beach. We used D'Greco Hotel as a landmark; it's right on a beach where you don't need to pay to swim with sardines and turtles – you just walk into the water, swim out to the reefs, and enjoy. The tricycle ride to the hotel cost us 200 pesos for three people. Before entering the coastal area, there's a tourist fee of 25 pesos per person. Near our hotel, there's a tour desk where we booked a canyoneering trip to Kawasan Falls, and it was unforgettable! It cost 1900 pesos per person and included lunch. Overall, we loved it. Returning to Ocean View Lodging House in Oslob felt like coming home. The owners were happy to see us back. The next day, we were scheduled to go to Panglao, and Baby, the owner, booked our ferry tickets for us. All in all, our impressions of the hotel and its owners are overwhelmingly positive. An excellent hotel for an excellent price."
Island Front - Bangcogon Resort and Restaurant
"You can book a car through the hotel to go to Oslob, and the shuttle to see the whale sharks costs 100 pesos. There are also boats to Sumilon Island. Upon check-in, you just fill out a form to choose your desired itinerary and service package. The service is excellent. The hotel has sea views and good facilities. My room door faced the hotel's dining area by the sea. I ordered food directly while sitting by the sea and just zoned out watching the ocean. It was a wonderful experience."
GT Seaside Inn
"Nice relaxing hotel in oslob- great views by the water and friendly staff."
Oslob Seafari Resort
"We loved our stay at Seafari! The place looks like something out of a postcard—perched under a cliff with dreamy views and its own little private beach. Now, full disclosure: to get there, you’ll have to conquer what felt like a thousand stairs (okay, maybe just 50 meters of cliffside steps, but our legs don’t know the difference). Totally worth it though! The staff was super friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and everything felt peaceful and private. If you're up for a bit of a leg workout and want a quiet slice of paradise, this is your spot."
La Fela Pension House
"I was happy enough"
RRJ’S BEACH RESORT
"The hotel is great. It's small, with only six rooms, which creates a really cozy atmosphere. It's tough to find hotels off the main road near Oslob. So, when I was choosing a place, I also considered easy access to the sea. It can be a bit noisy near the main road, but if you tune that out and just listen to the waves, it's actually quite nice. The pool is excellent, and so is the access to the sea (though you definitely need to wear water shoes, like everywhere else, as most beaches on Cebu Island are rocky). They offer food services, bringing delicious grilled seafood and amazing soups made from it. There's also a BBQ grill available. If you want to explore Filipino cuisine, you'll get a chance here. They offer transparent kayak rides, which are perfect for seeing the seabed. They also arrange tours for swimming with whale sharks and with sardines in Moalboal. The staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel owners also visit and oversee the staff's work."
Seascape Beach Resort Oslob
"We stayed at the hotel for one night to see the sharks. It lived up to the description, and we loved everything. It had everything we needed."
The Marc Vannelli Oslob
"Beautiful hotel situated nicely along the water. The room had poor drainage in the bathroom, but the real problem was the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. The restaurant was very nice - good food with great view. Whale sharks watching was 20 min away. Helpful staff"

The South Hideaway Oslob
"The hotel is beautiful, with a warm pool. But the walls are made of cardboard, and there's no hot water."
D Downhill'Place
"It was good, the beach is in front of your room, I got very impressive sunrise moment."
Maxvir Inn Beach Resort
"We rented a bungalow house. It turns out to be a very small house, there is only a bed and two shelves. That is, there is no space at all. There was a fan in the house, but it was a little stuffy for me. The toilet is shared. There is no shower, there is a shared washbasin. They don’t have a cafe, we rode a tricycle to a cafe a little further away. The owner was hospitable and tried to help. Wi-Fi is free and good. There is access to the water, but swimming is not very convenient, there is no beach, only rocks. Also, at the same time, other people in a large group came to this hotel with us. They sang karaoke loudly and walked until the morning. And in the morning they turned on loud music. That is, if you want silence, then decide for yourself. The house is not soundproofed."
Serene Oasis Resort - Oslob Cebu Philippines
"It was beautiful and the scenery was great."
Babylon Oslob Coast Guesthouse
"The hotel is good and the breakfasts are delicious. I deducted one star because the rooms are a bit small; it's hard for two people with suitcases to move around comfortably. No issues with cleanliness or the friendly staff, everything was super 😊"
