"The hotel is quite far from the whale shark swimming spot, and our transportation costs ended up being much higher than we expected. On top of that, we had to go twice because the first time we arrived around 10:00 AM, the swimming sessions were already over, and we missed out. We were also pretty shocked by the damp and unwashed towels. The food selection isn't huge, but what they do make is delicious. The main highlight is the ocean with turtles."

"The staff were excellent! They checked us in quickly and were very polite, and overall, everything was customer-oriented! The view from the common lounge area is stunning; it's a real pleasure to sit on a chair and gaze at the sea. There's a great path with steps down to the sea, BUT the water itself is a bit dirty and has seaweed, which hides a huge number of sea urchins. The room itself is simple and small. There's a fantastic new air conditioner. There's a boiler, but hot water doesn't always come out of it. There are few outlets, and they are strangely placed."

"We stayed for three days in Oslobe. It's very pretentious; the pool is now square and warm. They were building something, like a small bathhouse at the end of the property. The rooms are very odd; the windows face inwards, while the storage rooms face the sea. In the standard rooms, the beds are on the second level, so you can't sit up properly; a normal bed is only available in a deluxe room or higher. You're not allowed to bring your own drinks or food; they charge a corkage fee, though we did manage to bring beer and chips to the pool. Breakfast is à la carte. Whatever you do, don't order the fish – it's absolutely inedible, but everything else is okay. The bathroom is large, and the towels are clean."

"This is a small, guesthouse-like hotel, located about 1.5 km from the main street where you can see whale sharks. It's a 20-minute walk along the highway. The air conditioning is very noisy, and the room is quite small. The upside! It's peaceful with no crowds. The beach, made of coral fragments, was the most beautiful part of this trip. During meals, there were even cats and dogs coming to beg for food, which added a nice, cozy touch."

"very basic but somehow we found it quirky, The view over the sea was amazing. Unfortunately not a great place to swim due to Sea Urchins and apparently sea snakes. We only stayed 2 nights to do the whale swimming and this is more than enough. Nice friendly staff, the little cafe on site, the food was actually decent. With some money spent on this accommodation it could be amazing."
