Llalapan1985I just left the hotel and wrote this review while waiting for HARUKA to go to the airport. Since I have stayed at Hakata VIA INN before, I feel that the same brand and room configuration are basically the same. Although this hotel is in the Umeda business district, the location is indeed not very convenient. It is closest to the Midosuji South Exit of Osaka Station. After exiting, you will pass the Ferris Wheel Mall and enter the Hankyu East Street Shopping Street Exit E. You will see 711 and the hotel behind. The whole walk takes 11 minutes, which is a bit roundabout. It is still not as convenient as the UNIZO I stayed at before. It may be because of the commercial street next to it. It is noisy when I come back at night. I don’t know how to read Japanese, but I saw the sign of ”Mature Woman” on the escalator next to the hotel, which inevitably makes me suspect that it is a custom shop. The uncle at the front desk is very friendly. Although he doesn’t understand English, he still answers my questions to the best of his ability. Unlike the Hakata store, two room cards can be provided to prevent charging laptops when leaving the room. I stayed for 5 nights, but I am still not used to it because the pillow is too high. The last night was too tiring, and as a southern kid, I couldn't adapt to the cold weather and needed to hibernate. I closed my eyes and slept for almost 10 hours! The following are the reviews:
1. There is only one pillow and it is too high, which is a common problem of all VIA INN.
2. Unlike the Hakata store: the wash basin is too low, and you need to bend down to wash your face, which will dirty your clothes from time to time; whether it is air-conditioning or heating, the air outlet will blow on your face, but I can't see the air outlet on the ceiling except the one on the hanger, and I can't find other air outlets. In the end, I turned it off to avoid runny nose.
3. The hotel lobby is connected to 711, and guests need to tap their cards to enter the hotel, which is convenient for buying breakfast and snacks.
4. I still have to repeat the hotel's shower is really comfortable, and the water is soft and continuous, which brings a comfortable rest experience for travelers who have been running all day.
5. The hotel WiFi is very smooth and there is no jamming.
6. The lobby provides self-service hotel supplies, including toothbrushes, compressed towels, coffee, black and green tea, cotton swabs, etc. If you need a comb and a razor, you have to buy them at the front desk.
7. I like the cleanliness of the hotel room. Every morning when I go out, I will put a ”need to clean” sign outside the door. When I come back at night, I find that the garbage has been cleaned up and even the bed has been neatly folded. The Japanese love of cleanliness is indeed worth learning.
8. The hotel arranged a room facing the street. Except for the cheers of young people outside for a short time at night, it was basically very quiet, but when the curtains were opened, there was a wall.
9. Breakfast is set on the 12th floor, from 6:30 to 10 am, with Western and Japanese styles. On the last day, I chose to have a Japanese breakfast at the hotel, which cost 1,200 yuan, which is better than the Hakata store and has a large dining area.
Overall, except for the location, the interior of the hotel is still good.
