Hotels in Tennoji, Osaka

This is my second time staying here, and this time it was a solo trip, which I really enjoyed! The room is small, but perfectly adequate for one person. I'd highly recommend it for solo female travelers – the surrounding area feels very safe, and there's even a Sugi Pharmacy along the street if you want to browse. I'd definitely come back to stay here again if I have the chance!

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and its location is absolutely fantastic. Downstairs, there's a city rail station, and it's a hub for various subway lines, making travel incredibly convenient. It's very close to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. The airport shuttle also has a stop right next to the hotel, which is super handy for getting around. I stayed for three nights, and the room was quite spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean. I'm particular about my sleep, so I was thrilled that the bed was very comfortable and the environment was peaceful. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Good value for money in Osaka. You can walk from Teradacho Station, and it's cheaper than staying near Namba. There's a Don Quijote nearby, so you can easily walk there to shop.

I have nothing but praise to give the dynasty hotel Osaka, truly an excellent hotel with great amenities and a great location. Both walkable and close to a station for any sort of getting around

Our stay at Osaka Adachi-no-Mori Hotel was a pleasant surprise for my daughter and me. The hotel boasts a superb location in the Tennoji commercial district, with Kintetsu Department Store, Mio Mall, and Abeno Harukas Observatory all nearby. It's just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and the Kansai Airport Rapid Service provides direct access to Kansai Airport. The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff. In the first-floor lobby, guests can enjoy complimentary drinks and pick up various skincare and bath amenity samples. They also provide free rentals of beauty massagers, curling irons, garment steamers, instant cameras, international adapters, and shoe dryers, among other items. The rooftop garden is adorned with beautiful lights and offers distant views of Tsutenkaku Tower. Other floors boast free amenities like KTV rooms, game consoles, billiards, table tennis, bedrock baths (Ganbanyoku), a kids' play area, a gym, and a manga corner. Upon check-in, we received vouchers for either a complimentary afternoon tea or a takoyaki-making experience. Since we stayed for two nights, we got to enjoy both activities. The afternoon tea was excellent, and every dessert was delicious. The ingredients provided for the takoyaki were ample and fresh. In the evenings, there was also a free happy hour, featuring treats like marshmallows, popcorn, prawn crackers, chicken skewers, a variety of delicious drinks, noodles, and dumplings. This time, we stayed in a deluxe panoramic twin room on the top floor. The room was very spacious and featured a proper entryway. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed with a wet and dry separation, and the bathtub was large and comfortable for soaking. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, and even had a massage chair. The view from the window was excellent, and outside the windowsill, there was a charming frog sculpture. The housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. Throughout our stay, we were touched by all the thoughtful details. We were truly reluctant to leave, and the next time we visit Osaka, we will definitely stay at this hidden gem of a hotel again.

Service: The front desk treats all guests equally, regardless of nationality, with great politeness. They even offer paid luggage storage for multiple days after check-out, not just on the same day. Environment: The facilities are comprehensive, with a communal lounge and even a foot bath, though the water temperature was unfortunately only 30 degrees Celsius. Facilities: The communal kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathrooms and toilets are very clean. The rooms also have ample space for luggage. Drawbacks: It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage.

If you love exploring towns on foot, this place is a perfect fit for you. I had already visited Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori River before, so this time I wanted to explore a new area. The Tennoji area, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, has many attractions. For example, there's Tsutenkaku (a tower with an observation deck), and the Shinsekai area, which is full of local shops and gives you the feeling of stepping back in time to 40 or 50 years ago. Right next to these areas, there’s a large park that includes a zoo, a museum, and a historical mansion built in the Edo period. Shrines and temples can be found all around as well. The hotel is in a convenient location for walking around these spots. Since the hotel has a Buddhist theme, the interior isn’t luxurious, but it’s neat and clean. The room I stayed in (a superior single) had everything I needed. If you’re traveling with a large suitcase for a week-long trip, you might find it a bit tight to open it fully in the room, but it's spacious enough for 2–3 days' worth of luggage. It was also quiet at night. They provide many free amenities in the room, such as sandals for areas outside the tatami(green in the room photoes) space, a pair of socks, tea bags, a bottle of water, a toothbrush, and more. If you go out at night, note that the entrance door closes at 11 p.m., but you can still enter by tapping your room key on the reader next to the door. However, there is no front desk staff available late at night. I actually wanted to ask about a machine in the room (maybe an air purifier or humidifier) around 11 p.m., and tried calling the front desk, but no one answered. I hope they consider having at least one night staff member available. That was the only point I thought could be improved. As I didn’t add the (vegetarian) breakfast option, I bought some food near Ebisucho Station and kept it in the fridge in my room. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and delis that stay open late, so you won’t have any trouble finding food. After checking out in the morning, I left my luggage at the hotel and walked to a café about 10 minutes away. I planned to explore the area afterward. I expected cooler weather because it was cloudy, so I wore a long-sleeved shirt, but it got warmer than expected. I decided to go back to the hotel to change clothes. The front desk staff was very kind and showed me to a large restroom where I could take off my shoes and put stuffs— very helpful! Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends when they visit Osaka.

I stayed there for 12 days, the staff was super friendly, the rooms were cleaned squeaky clean. The hotel was located conveniently for traveling both JR and subway. The room was normal size for this price but felt more spacious than it looked like. I was able to store a lot of staff under my bed. The breakfast was traditional, very filling and was rotating every day! Staff helped me to use laundry machines and send my luggage to the airport. Thank you for a magnificent stay!

The facilities were clean and the representative was friendly and the Korean boss was not uncomfortable.

The deluxe room type is quite spacious for Japan, with excellent soundproofing and complete facilities. The hotel staff's service attitude is outstanding. The breakfast was good, but the door on the side of the restaurant facing the road was drafty, making the environment a bit cold. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not as noisy as the Namba or Shinsaibashi areas. Nearby, you'll find Kintetsu Department Store, Aeon's lifestyle supermarket, and Don Quijote. Across from the hotel, there are popular dining options like Yoshinoya and a noodle shop, and right next door is the delicious Notokanasawa Yakiniku. In terms of transportation, the airport limousine bus goes directly to Kintetsu Department Store Uehonmachi Station, which is a very short walk to the hotel. There are also multiple subway lines for convenient travel.
