Super good location But front court staff is unfriendly Room is good but a bit small Opposite have a lot shopping area

The hotel is excellent. It is close to the Osaka station and at the upper floors of a shopping mall. Bedroom is big enough n the breakfast got different varieties. We can also shop n eat in the underground shopping streets conveniently in rainy days. Highly recommended.

This was the best stay we had throughout our 2 weeks trip to Japan! Initially I had the impression that the stay here will be very squeezy due the images shown during booking. Upon arriving at the lobby, we were early for the check in (supposedly 3pm) and staff informed they will allow early check in at 230pm instead of 3pm. The staff were all very attentive and had superb customer service. At around 220pm they suddenly allowed us to check in which the self check in process was so seamless, totally impressed firstly by allowing us to check in earlier, and the short process. Upon reaching our room, we were even more impressed! The room was spacious where i could open all 4 luggage at once. The view outside was cast upon the river. The feature by the door where we can place our winter jackets or clothes that could be reworn was so thoughtful. The only downside was the slightly smaller bathtub which we didn’t use. The table was slightly small for 2 pax as well. The hotel supports sustainability cleaning which allow us to choose the type or extent of room cleaning that we want which was great. Personally I totally loved the real time update of the laundry room of ALL the machines and time remained. It helped me reduced unnecessary trips to the laundry room to check on my laundry and when I want to do laundry, i’ll know whether there are available machine for use. Really appreciate this feature. Our only regret is not trying the breakfast. It looked so good and we would definitely come back for our next visit to Osaka and have their breakfast!

Very good location where it is the transport hub that connects to many lines and can bring you to many places within Osaka. Fast check in and check out using the machines. Highly recommended. This is my second time staying here.

The location of this hotel has no competition except the New Hankyu Osaka which sadly had ceased operation after many decades in business. The Respire has the perfect location to access the JR station, the Hankyu line, and all the subway lines at Umeda. Umeda has tons of restaurants and shops. It is so much fun and convenient. While the Respire is beautiful and new and in the best location, it is my least favorite hotel after spending 5 weeks in Japan (Osaka, Tokyo, Hakone, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohama). The room is suffocatingly small. No room at all for any size luggage except a small carry on size. For two people, one person has to crawl over the other person to get in the queen size bed. (We stayed in the premium higher floor with great views of the city.) The hotel is very very busy. People are coming and going all the time. My observation noticed that it appeared to be a very popular hotel of choice for Chinese tourists. I wish I could love this hotel but I feel suffocated already just thinking about staying here. If I really really want this location, perhaps we need two rooms for two people to make it work? Even with that thought, I still do not know how I would handle the luggage.

Amazing location with connected walkway to train & subway station. Easy access to airport limo bus. Restaurants & shopping options abound.

The first time I stayed with grandniece and niece in this hotel! I used to stay at Hotel New Hankyu opposite this hotel but it is going to close down in January 2025. The location is so perfect with many shopping and eating places within 1 building 👏 Great when you are with family. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Great location, twin room spacious and good spread for breakfast However, check in was slow as all guests are expected to use machine for self check in. Breakfast was the same for the 3 nights we stayed there - could be improved here.

Very convenient location, clean and cozy room with a nice city view, enjoyed the stay a lot!

The hotel cleanliness and location of the hotel were good. However daily buffet breakfast menu remained unchanged except ramen and udon were served on alternate day.

Walkable distance to the JR Osaka station. Tiny room but superb location with a brunch of choices for shooper Discounted sushi box for supper!

The location is good. Breakfast is unbeatable. Staff are professional. The drawback is about the room facilities. The TV is big which is good. The water tap didn't have sufficient pressure so the water flow was very very slow. The air con is blowing over my face so I have to switch by head to the end of the bed to escape from the air blow. The toilet is separated from the bath but there is NOTHING inside the bathroom to hang my clothes!!! We are just friends and can't just walk out nake to put on my clothes....There is also not enough racks to hang towels for TWO people......The toilet side seems to have no ventilation!!

Clean and comfortable I would book this hotel again next time
