Self check-in is required, and the room is a bit small. It was also quite hot when we first entered.

Staying at this hotel so many time. Overall is good especially for the location. I did not satisfy for the self laundry. Some people finished the cloth washing, but did not go to pick up their clothes. Therefore many people lined up outside laundry room. The front desk asked me to keep waiting for 60mins until those clothes were collected when I called them. I thought 60mins was unreasonable. Who knows if they will show up after 60mins and this is public facilities for everyone who stay at hotel. I stayed at USJ hotel before, they would collect all clothes if nobody picked up within 15mins. I think it is more reasonable. I hope that hotel needs to consider others’ needs and review your procedures for self laundry service. Thank you so much.

Overall positive experience staying at Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka. Location is great and easy access to shops, food and public transport. A lot to love about this hotel. However, I wanted to draw attention to the management team as we had unpleasant phone ringing at 1am in the middle of the night and disturbed our sleeping. The mystery calls occurred randomly in the first three days during day and night. I made complaints to the front desk and was made aware that anyone can make calls to the hotel rooms. I am unsure if these were phone system glitches or someone making pranks. I had to ask to disconnect the phone for our room for peace of mind. Hope the hotel takes this seriously and investigate to make sure future guests will have pleasant stays.

All is good except the buffet breakfast. Food was cold and not delicious...go somewhere for breakfast as there are restaurants and cafes around.

Locatiion is great but the room is clean. . I dont know why there is smell bad in toilet always. .

Convenient hotel for quick shopping downstairs and lots of food choices around. The supermarket is a plus for grabs of titbits and snacks. Very crowded hotel with lobby always full of tourists. Amenities are generous with regular refills.

Location is fantastic! Easy to get around due to the proximity of the train station. Surrounded by shopping places and food.

The hotel is excellent. It is close to the Osaka station and at the upper floors of a shopping mall. Bedroom is big enough n the breakfast got different varieties. We can also shop n eat in the underground shopping streets conveniently in rainy days. Highly recommended.

This was the best stay we had throughout our 2 weeks trip to Japan! Initially I had the impression that the stay here will be very squeezy due the images shown during booking. Upon arriving at the lobby, we were early for the check in (supposedly 3pm) and staff informed they will allow early check in at 230pm instead of 3pm. The staff were all very attentive and had superb customer service. At around 220pm they suddenly allowed us to check in which the self check in process was so seamless, totally impressed firstly by allowing us to check in earlier, and the short process. Upon reaching our room, we were even more impressed! The room was spacious where i could open all 4 luggage at once. The view outside was cast upon the river. The feature by the door where we can place our winter jackets or clothes that could be reworn was so thoughtful. The only downside was the slightly smaller bathtub which we didn’t use. The table was slightly small for 2 pax as well. The hotel supports sustainability cleaning which allow us to choose the type or extent of room cleaning that we want which was great. Personally I totally loved the real time update of the laundry room of ALL the machines and time remained. It helped me reduced unnecessary trips to the laundry room to check on my laundry and when I want to do laundry, i’ll know whether there are available machine for use. Really appreciate this feature. Our only regret is not trying the breakfast. It looked so good and we would definitely come back for our next visit to Osaka and have their breakfast!

Very good location . A short walk from Osaka station. A quick check and out via computer system. Will recommend this hotel when in Osaka.

Good service hotel

THERE IS AN EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT SMELL IN THE TOILET I DONT WANT THE TROUBLE OF SWITCHING ROOM AND BARELY ENDURING IT

I have stayed this hotel for 3 nights and it was perfect. The view from the room is the key reason I chose this hotel but there is more about this hotel. The size of the room is just nice for two, the bathtub is clean and huge, facilities is adequate. This hotel is flawless except for the price of it. Haha. Worth to stay here. It was safe for solo traveler too. Good choice for every kind of travel. But make sure you got the budget for it!
