Nice stay at Scandic. Clean rooms and a great breakfast. A bit noisy at night due to close to a Parking for a shoppingmall. Nice place for running outside and they have a pool and training room. Great service from the personell. They have a resturant but we didnt try it. A 30 min walk from city centre with a lots of nice restaurants. They have carcharging at the hotell but this is very slow. 3kw pr hour. Outside the shoppingmall there Are fast charging for use.

The hotel was standard Scandic style and what you would expect, but when we arrived they asked as if we wanted to upgrade, for a price. We said no, and wondered if that was why they gave us a room with a couple of problems. We'd requested two single beds, and we got them but in this room they couldn't be moved apart. But the worst thing was that the black-out curtain was too small for the window and the room, so although it covered the glass it didn't cover the areas around it - which would have been ok, but at 10 at night they turned on the decorative strings of light bulbs above a courtyard area outside our window. These were on all night, and when past midnight I asked reception if they could be switched off (there was no-one sitting outside) I was told it wasn't possible. I found it hard to get to sleep. If the hotel is going to have bright lights outside rooms, they need to provide proper black out curtains. I did wonder if the point had been to get us to pay more for an upgrade.

100% done with Scandic
Got here relatively early because of an early start up north, in Jukkasjärvi. Parking was free, which was good.
Breakfast would be served, starting at 0700. Which wasn't good. At all. I had expected to have an early start the next day. I was expecting a 0630 breakfast. Oh well.
Got to my room and it was rather spacious. Because of only a single bed. And a couch. Then there was a framed picture on the wall of some ice hockey player. Why?
It was bloody hot in the room, luckily, a tower fan was provided. But I had to figure out how it worked myself.
Bathroom was just as ridiculous as the one in Luleå. Cheap toilet seat. And a shower door that didn't stop the water from soaking the entirety of the bathroom (though to a lesser extent than in Luleå).
Then there was another framed picture on the wall. Not so much a picture as a wall of text, claiming something along the lines of "the whole reusing towels-thingy? yeah, we figured that out. you're welcome"
I DON'T CARE.
Honestly, glad to have left this hotel.

At overnight stay I need a good shower, not those economyshowers with low waterpressure and a worn out showerhead with a spread every else than my body.
Otherwise hotel ok....bar and restaurant also ok with a tasteful breakfast.

OK Hotel, ok location, not city but we visit a motorbike race, and they are near together. Next building war COOP supermarkert and Systembulaget (licorestore), Swiden you onlu buy licores and beer this shop :) we visit only one night , staff was OK, room ok, littlebit cold

We got no info regarding the closed kitchen, the girls in the reception just said "sorry, go to the supermarket to find food". If it weren't for the younger guy (bartender?) who saved the stay for many families with his service minded approach and friendliness, making up for the poor information and lack of service in the reception.
