A very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it.
We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads.
We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef.
A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar!
All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted.
A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return!
Thank you Mike and team for your exceptional service. What a wonderful experience we had.

We attended a wedding. Positives: Great views over the Broads, excellent food. Negatives: unwelcoming manager, venue lacks character, corporate one size WILL fit all. We asked for a cup of tea at 9pm and were refused as the kitchen was shut. We questioned this and were finally presented with a cup of hot water and a teabag. Wedding package did not include welcome drink, nor wine with dinner, not even a coffee after the meal. Drinks very expensive. Sound system so poor not all the vows or speeches could be heard. Food service slow, table 1 had finished main course before table 6 had been served. No choice for breakfast, it was full English (vegan option) or nothing. No cereal, pasties, fruit or yoghurt. There are better wedding venues in Great Yarmouth.

My dad loved his Seabass linguine meal, mum liked her Hunters Chicken. My vegan burger was a big soggy but overall a lovely place to eat. Would be lovely to eat in the garden when the weather is better. Beer was good. Service was great. Would try it again next time we visit Norfolk.

We went there for a date as I’ve been before and it was absolutely lovely but having been there only for about 10 minutes we witnessed an argument between staff members I would assume she was maybe the manager an oriental looking lady ripping strips out of another lady and she ended up in tears !! Poor lady and so unprofessional I’ve seen better behaved people in the troll cart on a Saturday night we left in disgust won’t be going back !

Food, lodgings and staff were all incredible. If I return I would request a room on the other side of the property as the generator noise kept me up at night
