Absolutely lovely and friendly amazing stay, food was amazing very much enjoyed our stay, staff was excellent very friendly and helpful 6 star can't wait to revisit room was absolutely great captins cabin top class .

A very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it. We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads. We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef. A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar! All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted. A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return! We attended a wedding. Positives: Great views over the Broads, excellent food. Negatives: unwelcoming manager, venue lacks character, corporate one size WILL fit all. We asked for a cup of tea at 9pm and were refused as the kitchen was shut. We questioned this and were finally presented with a cup of hot water and a teabag. Wedding package did not include welcome drink, nor wine with dinner, not even a coffee after the meal. Drinks very expensive. Sound system so poor not all the vows or speeches could be heard. Food service slow, table 1 had finished main course before table 6 had been served. No choice for breakfast, it was full English (vegan option) or nothing. No cereal, pasties, fruit or yoghurt. There are better wedding venues in Great Yarmouth.

A walking group of ten of us had lunch this Saturday. We arrived rather earlier than we had booked but Mike was very helpful and accommodating and seated us earlier. We all enjoyed our food which was well presented. Setting of the pub is superb. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.

Great couple of nights away, very scenic, and short drives to nearby attractions. Resturant & staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend to others.

We stayed in one of the onsite lodges, it was lovely and clean and just the right size for a family of 3. We had a really lovely lady check us in and help us with sorting a takeaway for the evening, as they don’t serve food on a Monday night. The ducks onsite were an added bonus of having some nature literally on your doorstep! The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food and service were again lovely. Would visit again.
